Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer-Chapter 934: Going To The Northern Plane
Chapter 934: Going To The Northern Plane
Portal Stone was similar to a Teleport Scrolled, with the only difference being that a portal stone enabled a player to traverse to other planes.
Although it sounded amazing, one needed to understand that a portal stone was not some cheap item.
It cost 10 gold coins and it was a one-time usage.
The one-time usage means that a player could traverse to another plane and return to their original location. Once the traversal was completed, the portal stone would be rendered useless.
With that in mind, the operation that the Malefic Order Guild spent to ambush them was extremely costly.
“Where did you obtain these portal stones?” Xu Feng raised the question.
“Sorry, but it’s confidential.” Azalea apologized for being unable to speak of the source.
“Is that so? Then is it confidential only to the top guilds in your plane?” He pressed further.
Upon hearing that, Azalea chose to remain silent. Despite being silent, the reaction was enough for Xu Feng to know what the answer was.
The portal stone must have been heavily regulated by the top guilds in their respective plane.
After all, the portal stone could be considered a game changer and enabled one to wreak havoc on other players’ planes without the need to worry about being retaliated.
How could one even seek revenge if they couldn’t afford the method to traverse to another plane?
“Your plane is really quite advanced.” Xu Feng chuckled and his eyes gradually turned cold. “Unfortunately, I’m afraid after this trial, I might not be welcomed anymore.”
Azalea’s body shuddered slightly in response. Based on those words, she could confirm that Xu Feng was ready to make a move against their plane, or more specifically, the Malefic Order Guild.
In the end, she took a deep breath and exhaled softly. This problem stemmed from those participating guilds being greedy and provoking the Vanguard Guild.
The only thing she could do was relay this information to her boss and pray for the best.
“Anyway, the portal stone is set to transport us to the Northern Plane, Vermont City,” Azalea explained how Vermont City was their Cyclone Guild’s base. From there, the two could be reassured that nobody would dare to slight them.
It was clear that Azalea was worried about falling out with the Vanguard Guild.
This was especially so when she had discovered their guild was in control of the Forsaken Set.
If Xu Feng became displeased with them and decided to go against them by selling the Forsaken Set to their competitors, then things would end up really badly for them.
After all, it didn’t take a genius to know how a great equipment set could alter the situation.
Their Nightfallen Set was the greatest example of how their product propelled the Cyclone Guild.
“Alright, are you ready, Lunar Wraith?” Xu Feng turned to Carmen and asked if she had everything prepared. He didn’t bother to use her real name because there was an outsider.
The name “Carmen” was something Xu Feng would only use when it was private or someone who knew her name.
“I’ve long been ready,” Carmen responded swiftly.
“Alright, then let’s go.”
In the blink of an eye, the three of them turned into glittering lights as they vanished from the town. Only Veronica remained in the scene as she flashed a bittersweet smile.
“Looks like I have to work overtime again.” She exhaled softly.
With Xu Feng leaving alongside Carmen, she had to deal with all the upcoming events herself.
The other Guild Commander, Shadow Blade had been offline for a while, and there had yet to be another member being promoted to Guild Captain.
So far, the highest rank among their members aside from her was Elite Member.
Although some of the Elite Members were Team Leaders of a team, their rank was ultimately still Elite Members.
Veronica had raised the subject to Xu Feng previously, but it was apparent that he had no intention of promoting them to Guild Captain yet. According to his words, he wanted the Team Leaders to feel pressure and strive their best to meet his standards.
He refused to promote them just because they became a Team Leader. What Xu Feng wanted was a stable and calm Guild Captain—not someone who was overly ambitious and self-centered.
While Veronica was left pondering how to proceed with the town’s opening, Xu Feng and the rest soon arrived at another plane.
Northern Plane, Vermont City.
Three streaks of light appeared at the Teleport Platform of the Vermont City.
“Woah, the mana density here is slightly superior to Star Falls City,” Carmen commented in shock as she felt more relaxed and clear-headed.
Mana was a big part of the Divine World, and the higher the mana density, the greater a player would feel and perform better.
“It’s just slightly better.” Xu Feng suddenly said and glanced around Vermont City.
“It’s the Northern Plane, so this is considered average.” He continued.
Where Xu Feng and Carmen hailed from was notably the Eastern Plane, but that didn’t mean the Eastern Plane was inferior to the Northern Plane.
Moreover, Xu Feng highly doubted the Northern Plane was something to be envious of when he knew they were bound to suffer tremendously in the second major update.
The greater the mana density and resources, the greater the attraction that the Colossuses would feel. By then, who knew if the Northern Plane could remain prosperous—or more specifically, the players who would have their progression stagnated.
While Xu Feng had such an overview of the Northern Plane, Azalea made sure to take a mental note of herself.
‘There’s disdain and contempt in his tone. It seems like the Vanguard Guild Leader is really ready to fall out with the Northern Plane.’ She pursed her lips and cursed those greedy guilds. Had it not been for their action, would Xu Feng hold such a negative view of them?
“Our boss has long been waiting for you at the guild residence. Please follow me.” Azalea shook her head and began to explain Vermont City’s environment as she guided them.
