Reincarnated into a Doomed Novel as an Unknown Extra-Chapter 166: Mirror Realm [1]
'I knew that would happen… but it's still painful like hell…'
As my blurry vision cleared, I looked at my arm, only to see my bracelet nowhere to be seen.
It suddenly exploded, and my hand disappeared with it.
[I got it!] Glutton said inwardly, coming to me with my hand with his beak.
'You bitch! Why are you using your mouth of all things to carry my hand?!' I grabbed my arm immediately, feeling some disgust at the saliva that covered it.
[What do you mean? I'm a raven! You want me to create arms out of nowhere?]
'Yes, because you literally can!'
[Do you think the first thing that would come to my mind after seeing my precious father's hand on the ground is making myself an arm?]
I glared at him sharply. I knew he did that on purpose, and he knew that I knew he did that on purpose. Who the hell was he trying to lie to?
Shaking my head, I finally looked around me.
Up and down, left and right, all I saw was hundreds, if not thousands of handsome versions of me.
Why, you might ask? It's because I was surrounded by mirrors.
The ground was made of mirrors, the walls were mirrors, and even the ceiling was made of mirrors. All of them were showing my reflection in different shapes.
'Well, at least this part is right.'
Liora had told me already about this place.
According to her, there was an Arc where all the dungeons suddenly collapsed like glass, sending all students from all the four dungeons into this realm.
The people outside would need a lot of time to find a way to enter this realm, which would lead to a significant number of casualties.
In this process, Arthur, who was supposed to be recovering from the loss of his sister, would face an event that would be the beginning of altering his kind nature.
'Well, Liora will take care of that. I have a bigger problem to worry about.'
Now, I was in a real quasi-Tier-6 dungeon!
What did quasi mean? It meant that only the boss of the dungeon was Tier-6.
How did that happen? I didn't know, and I didn't care. I just had to leave this damn place.
I brought my severed hand and returned it back to my wrist. Then under my manipulation, my blood began to reattach my hand to my wrist perfectly.
Once it was attached, I used the healing spell that I had in Night Terror to make it return to normal.
I flexed my hand slightly, it was as good as new.
'Perfect.'
I replaced Selene's healing spell with Arthur's spell after I advanced in rank. As a Tier-4 spell, it was clearly far better than Selene's.
'Now, for the next step.'
What I wanted now was to leave this place as fast as possible and try to save my friends.
By making the students teleport together, I ensured that their chances of survival would increase. After all, they now had high numbers instead of being scattered like in the novel.
Selena and Zephyr were true monsters, so I wasn't too worried about them. Still, they weren't strong enough to survive a Tier-5 dungeon, not to mention a Tier-6 one.
And here comes my heartbreaking sacrifice. Kyle Lunaris gave me one wish, which I chose to be an artifact that could allow anyone to break the core of even a Tier-7 dungeon.
'In other words, I only have to spam teleportation until I find the centre of this place.'
I looked forward, seeing three different paths ahead of me. I didn't know which path I had to take — it was basically gambling here.
I looked at Glutton, who was standing on my shoulder, and asked: 'What do you think?'
[I'd say the middle looks nice.]
'They all look the same.'
[I'd say the middle looks nice.]
Sighing inwardly, I went to the middle path. I wouldn't lose anything from trying.
As I walked forward, I began to sense my reflections turning into terrifying shapes, their eyes following my movements, as though they were living beings watching me.
[Well, they're living beings watching us.]
I nodded to Glutton. It was truly strange knowing that all my reflections were alive and waiting for something to happen. Thankfully, I wasn't stupid enough to provoke them.
According to Liora, most of them wouldn't attack me unless I attacked them first.
Unfortunately, there were some exceptions which weren't as kind as the others.
All of a sudden, one of my reflections jumped out of the mirror, having a strange fat version of Glutton on its shoulder.
I teleported behind it instantly, thrusting a stiletto covered in lightning toward its head. But before it could pierce its head, the reflection teleported away.
*Crack!*
But all of a sudden, my attack pierced its glassy head, shattering it in an instant.
"You think you can run from me with my teleportation? Motherfucker, I teleport more than I walk!"
I sensed the place it was trying to teleport into by sensing the changes in the fabric of space. Then, I created a small gate that allowed me to send my dagger attack there.
My reflections had my abilities, but not my overall experience. I had a small advantage over all of them.
*BAM!*
All of a sudden, Glutton shattered his fat reflection with a small gravity attack. All the shattered glass was about to fall on the mirrors on the ground, but I immediately pulled them up with my gravity and stored them in my storage.
I couldn't let some shattered glass provoke the other monsters. I might have high confidence in my abilities, but fighting hundreds of me wasn't within my capabilities.
As I walked forward, I fought a few other mirror monsters, killing all of them in an instant, until I reached the end.
'A damn dead end.'
In front of me, there was a giant mirror, showing a giant reflection of Glutton and me.
'You said the middle one looks nice, huh?'
[Yes, and it is. Just look at my beautiful big reflection!]
I sighed inwardly and turned around, ready to leave and try another path. But as I was about to teleport, I sensed the movement of a giant arm emerging from a mirror.
That giant reflection was one of the exceptions…
'...I hate my luck.'
A/N: Cough... Hi... Told you it's not dropped!
