Chapter 74: Chapter 72: Zero

The sky was torn.

Above the crater, clouds churned like oceans of ink

The dust from their collision began to settle. From within the crater, two silhouettes stood—battered, burning with power, breathing like beasts. Yet still... grinning.

Shiro raised his hand. The dark aura around him pulsed, responding to his will. His body hovered slightly above the ground, feet no longer touching the earth. The wind roared around him like a hurricane. His voice was deep, otherworldly.

"I think now it’s time to stop playing."

Lunara didn’t answer. Her eyes narrowed, lips pressed together. She was waiting for what was comming next.

Dark sigils appeared in the air behind Shiro—twisting, spinning, ancient. They glowed with corrupt power, each one humming with a note of destruction.

Then he raised his arm—and the sky split open.

"Now see my strongest magic for the first and last time." Shiro said with a mocking tone

From the rift, a storm of dark energy spears rained down—each bolt like a missile. The land erupted beneath each impact, hills exploding, rivers boiling away into steam.

Lunara flew upward, dodging and weaving between the hellstorm. She extended her hands, petals of void energy circling her wrists. She launched a barrage of Void Arrows, sleek and sharp, countering Shiro’s spears mid-air. Each collision created a burst of raw force, causing the land below to warp and tremble.

But something strange happened.

The earth healed.

As soon as a crater formed—vines grew.

As soon as a tree fell—it regrew, impossibly fast.

The field was alive—fighting to survive their war.

Shiro noticed. "What? the land is regenerating?"

Lunara hovered mid-air, glowing softly, petals curling around her like a cocoon. "master....how can you give the land.. the ability to heal..." She said in a small voice.

He extended both hands, and from the sky fell a black meteor of pure compressed Demon Magic, screeching like a thousand banshees. Lunara formed a massive flower-shaped shield of Void energy—but it cracked under the pressure.

BOOOOM!

The entire forest around them erased. A crater miles wide formed—only to slowly reform, grass sprouting in seconds, trees mending themselves. The world was regenerating... but slower now. Tired.

Lunara dropped to one knee, breathing heavily.

Shiro floated down, eyes still burning crimson. "How is she still alive?!."

Lunara stood, raising her arms again. "Is this your strongest magic?." she said mocking him

She unleashed a blizzard of void butterflies, each winged creature exploding on contact. They swarmed Shiro, cutting through his aura, forcing him on the defensive.

He roared, launching a dark nova around him, annihilating the swarm. His body glowed hotter—his veins like molten lava, cracks of dark magic forming on his skin.

(Just coming in the contact of my magic should effect her but how is she still fighting like nothing is happening.) Shiro said in his mind

He thrust forward both palms, and the sky itself screamed as a massive beam of pure demonic energy shot forth—a lance of destruction.

Lunara raised her Flower Void shield—but it shattered completely, the beam smashing her back, through trees, mountains, and into the clouds.

She didn’t rise.

Shiro landed softly, panting. "HaHaHa looks like it’s over for you.."

Smoke curled from the distant mountains. Then—

Something changed.

The air went still.

The regenerating earth stopped.

Even time... seemed to hesitate.

From the distance, a pulse rang out.

Shiro looked up.

A black sun rose into the sky—no light, only void.

And beneath it—Lunara hovered, her hair flowing like liquid ink, her eyes now black with glowing violet pupils. Her aura was no longer floral—it was infinite. A swirling storm of cold, silent magic.

She raised one hand.

And Spoke

"You are stronger then i imagined.

Shiro looked at her with widened eyes.

"What! How is this possible how are you alive" he screamed in confusion.

Lunara looked at him with a smile and said.

"No, you have killed me 23 times in this battle."

As she said that Shiro got more confused and looked at her with shocked eyes.

Lunara continued speaking and says.

"But too bad for you that i cannot die."

Shiro’s eyes widened in shock he screams.

"What The Fuck are you saying!? That’s not possible! My magic can even kill immortal beings!"

Lunara smiled and in a cold voice she replied.

"As long as my master is alive not even gods can kill me."

Shiro looked at her in rage then he raised his hand and create a huge dark burning circle and screamed.

"That’s fucking nonsense!!"

He dashed towards in full speed, Lunara slowly raised her hand and in a small voice she says.

"Master.... I’m taking your help..."

She closed her eyes and says.

"Flower’s blessing The True Void....."

"Zero."

The world blinked.

Suddenly, there was no sound. No color evething went black and white. Shiro gasped—he couldn’t feel his heartbeat.

"Wha—! What happened..." He said in confusion.

Space bent around Lunara like water around fire. Her body emitted no light, no heat—just absence. She moved, and reality tore open behind her steps.

Shiro charged.

He fired bolt after bolt of dark energy—but they disappeared as they neared her, devoured by the True Void.

Lunara moved—instantaneous. She was in front of him. Then behind. Then above.

She flicked a finger—and the wind shattered.

A thousand void threads wrapped around Shiro, slicing his skin, binding his limbs. He roared, unleashing waves of raw power—but they couldn’t touch her anymore. His attacks phased through her, warped around her.

"Can you see it...this is just a small faction of my master’s powers...and you think you can defeat her?." she whispered. Her voice echoed like an empty cathedral.

"Are you fucking...kidding me." Shiro said his voice shaking from pain.

She extended both arms.

The ground beneath them folded inward, like the world was trying to collapse.

A giant void sigil spread across the land—miles wide.

Shiro screamed, transforming again, his form crackling, skin blackened, eyes glowing red. His body exploded with power—but even that was not enough.

Lunara descended, surrounded by hundreds of spheres of True Void magic—each the size of a mountain.

She snapped her fingers.

They launched.

Shiro deflected one—his arm turned to smoke. He regenerated, barely.

Another hit—his ribs cracked.

Another—his shoulder vanished, reformed, cracked again.

He powered through, eyes wild, Screaming madly. "FUCK IT FUCK IT FUCK IT, This can’t be happening!! I cannot die here.. i haven’t become a Demon Lord Yet!"

"AHHHHHHH"

He surged forward, punching with all the power and energy he have. Lunara met it with her palm—"Void Collapse."

CRACK!

A line of white split the sky. The explosion didn’t make sound—it stole sound. A sphere of silence engulfed everything.

Then came the shockwave.

Everything near them was gone.

When the light returned, only one figure stood.

Lunara.

Bleeding. Breathing. Floating.

And behind her, Shiro—on one knee, body broken, face filled with cracks.

"D—..Damm you..B-..bitch" he whispered.

She floated to the ground beside him

"You really are though aren’t you." she said.

He looked at her, coughing blood. "i-i’ll k-k-kill you..."

She looked at him then she slowly raised her hand and said. "Time to end this."

He looked up slowly, unable to move his body he opened his mouth to say something but, Lunara’s hand started to glow dark then....

BOMMMMM! a huge explosion happened covering the whole area with smoke...., as the smoke faded away.

Lunara stand there alone, infront of her a huge hole made by her attack.

And then—the land began to heal again.

Trees regrew. The air cleared. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom

And far above, the black sun of the True Void slowly faded.

Lunara Slowly looked up at the sky and With a smile she says.

His eyes widened. "Yooto!" He gasped
