Reborn as the Sweetheart of a Paranoid Boss-Chapter 449: The Celestial Vein’s Sanctum
"The Beast Lord’s aura on her is strong, yet instead of eroding the Heavenly Master Bloodline within her, it protects her, intimidating all creatures threatening her."
"Sarah, perhaps she’s even stronger than we imagined."
"She’s no longer a sacrifice."
She is the Beast Lord’s bride.
As Dean Sutton’s words fell, a hint of shock flashed in Sarah Sutton’s eyes.
Has it actually been reversed in such a way?
What kind of magic does that woman possess, that even the Beast Lord, who once roamed the heavens and seas, is willing to defy a curse he set himself?

Meanwhile, Selena Kensington and Timothy Jennings left the wooden house, and Timothy took her to another place.
Circumventing the wooden house, they entered the forest behind.
"Watch out for these bushes."
Timothy shielded her as they walked forward.
After passing through the forest, Timothy led her to a cave.
The cave entrance was somewhat narrow, surrounded by trees, and without Timothy’s guidance, Selena might not have noticed the cave.
"Let’s go."
Timothy went in first.
Selena cautiously followed him.
The cave was damp, with occasional water droplets falling.
Selena took out her phone and turned on the flashlight, illuminating the surroundings.
Moss grew on the cave walls, and water dripped through cracks.
"Be careful of slipping."
Timothy supported her arm, cautiously guiding her forward.
Though the cave was damp, the path was flat, and with the phone flashlight, Selena didn’t find it too difficult.
"I’m fine, Timothy."
The moment Selena said that, she suddenly noticed a faint glow and the sound of running water ahead.
She turned off the phone’s flashlight and looked forward.
Soon after, they exited the cave.
Upon exiting, Selena discovered a different scenery behind the cave.
A soothing aura permeated her body.
All around were fallen and shattered steles and stone pillars.
They were broken and fragmented, though some still stood tall.
Complex ancient patterns were carved into the pillars.
The pillars encircled a central round platform stele.
Nearby, a stream flowed downward.
"This used to be a ceremonial ground for the Clan of Celestial Masters."
Timothy looked ahead and said.
"This way."
He said another word and began walking from the outer circle to the center.
Selena took a deep look at the pillars and steles ahead, then followed Timothy inward.
They reached the right side of the stele, where a stone door was covered with climbing leaves.
Timothy walked to the stone door, cleared away the pile of leaves in front, revealing a small round depression.
In the center of the depression was a tiny hole.
Timothy bit his fingertip, letting his blood drip into the tiny hole.
Selena frowned slightly.
Soon after, she heard the stone door ’click’ and ’click’ open.
"What the....."
Selena’s eyes flashed with astonishment.
Timothy stood up, glanced at Selena.
"Selie, have you made up your mind?"
"Once you step inside, there’s no turning back."
Upon hearing Timothy’s words, Selena’s eyes shimmered slightly.
"...Cousin, I never retreat."
As if making a solemn decision, she spoke earnestly.
Timothy sighed slightly, "Let’s go."
Then he walked inside first.
Selena followed closely.
Once inside, Selena discovered a narrow passageway.
Candlesticks lined the passage, and Timothy took out a lighter, lighting the candles.
When he had come earlier, he had brought many candles.
These candles were still usable, providing illumination for them.
With the candles lit, the light illuminated the path ahead.
Thus, Selena could see the murals on the walls.
These were continuous frescoes.
After so many ages, some places on the frescoes had peeled off, and colors had faded, yet Selena could faintly discern the content.
The murals depicted the birth, development, flourishing, and battles against the Fell Beasts by the Clan of Celestial Masters.
Until in the end, the clan angered the Divine, leading to their decline and fall.
As Selena and Timothy walked, they looked at the content on the frescoes.
As she touched upon a colossal figure in the murals, her lashes trembled slightly.
A tiger head with wings, face wicked and fierce.
It stood atop a mountain peak, beneath it a swarm of humans.
This is... Qiongqi.
"This is Qiongqi."
Selena pointed towards the mural and said.
Timothy turned slightly, noticing the tension in Selena’s eyes.
Under Selena’s expectant gaze, Timothy nodded thoughtfully.
"..."
Selena pursed her lips slightly and continued walking forward with Timothy.
Who knows how long they walked, but they finally passed through the narrow passageway and reached another space.
This area was vast, the only light a faint gleam from above.
Timothy walked over to the candlesticks aside and lit the candles.
Once all the candlesticks in the cave were lit, Selena could finally see inside.
The walls around were carved open and filled with ancient books, their vastness nearly covering the entire cave.
And in the cave’s center, where the faint light came through, was a stone table and stone stool.
"Come."
Timothy went over first.
Selena also walked over.
Approaching the stone table, Timothy didn’t know which mechanism he pressed, and the ground beneath the stone table and stool slightly trembled, causing them to separate, revealing a disc underneath.
Once the disc was exposed, it split in two, from which a stele rose.
Engraved on it were a few lines of ancient script, which Selena couldn’t decipher.
Yet she could feel an indistinct power emanating from within the stele...
"Selie, come over."
After the stele rose completely, Timothy called for Selena.
"Where is this place?"
Selena looked around at the scenery.
This seemed to be a world forcibly carved out by someone.
"The Celestial Vein, only those with the Heavenly Master Bloodline can enter here."
"If someone with malice entered, they would’ve been killed by the altar’s mechanism long ago."
Selena’s eyes widened slightly, "So mysterious?"
Timothy chuckled, "There’s even more mystery."
After speaking, he pointed at the stele ahead, "Drip a drop of your blood onto it."
Having said that, he looked at Selena.
Selena nodded, not questioning Timothy first, but chose to trust.
She bit her fingertip, and as a drop of blood emerged, she dripped it onto the stele.
As Selena watched her drop of blood fall, Timothy’s heart suddenly tightened.
