Chapter 311: Chapter 311: Boeucc Restaurant

Above, 33 stone bridges crisscross, connecting different parts of the roof.

Here, you can get a bird’s-eye view of the entire city’s scenery.

Selena Kensington gazed into the distance, looking at the densely packed buildings, slightly spreading her arms to greet the wind.

She called out to Sterling Norwood in delight, "Sterling, you can see the distant snow-capped mountain range from here."

"Yes, I see it."

Sterling Norwood walked over.

She looked at Sterling and suddenly smiled, saying, "I suddenly feel that my previous misfortunes mean nothing."

"Because..."

"Having you is my greatest fortune."

In this topmost layer of the chapel, her words seemed filled with a solemn and sacred feeling.

Especially against the backdrop of the distant snowy mountain range, the breeze brushing her face and hair, gently lifting strands of her hair.

Her gaze was earnest and devout, as if she were in prayer.

Devout and sacred.

Sterling Norwood felt a tremor in his heart, "...me too."

For him to endure for twenty years, waiting for her, wasn’t that also his greatest happiness?

No one understood the feeling Sterling had when he first laid eyes on Selena, and he had no desire to share it with others.

A novel, strange, and fervent feeling.

As if his heart would leap out of his chest.

His entire bloodstream trembled because of her, as though telling him that the person before him belonged to him.

And could only be his.

This contradictory feeling, which he had never felt since birth, was something he savored alone.

Just one fleeting glance, and he was utterly captivated.

Thus, he was willing to suppress the instincts within him, continually enduring as he waited for her to grow.

Waiting for her to willingly step into the territory he had meticulously arranged for her.

Finally, Selena and Sterling strolled around, stopping occasionally until the afternoon.

As they exited Mirel Cathedral, Sterling asked her, "Are you hungry?"

Selena patted her empty stomach, "A little."

"Wait here for me, should I go fetch the car?"

Sterling asked, looking down at her.

Selena shook her head, "I’ll go with you."

She took Sterling’s hand and asked, "Where are we going for dinner?"

"Boeucc."

Selena exclaimed in surprise, "The oldest restaurant in Mirel?"

"Yes."

Once they walked back to the hotel, Sterling drove Selena to the Boeucc restaurant. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

The entrance of Boeucc restaurant wasn’t as grand as those of other restaurants; on the contrary, it was small and exquisite.

A round-arched door with rectangular windows on either side.

Beside them were two green plants.

Unbeknownst to Selena, Sterling had already arranged everything.

When Sterling brought her inside and conversed with the waiter in Vylander’s language, the waiter led them to the dining table, and Selena realized.

Boeucc restaurant has a history of over three hundred years.

Even now, the restaurant remains classically elegant, neither outdated nor out of style.

The interior of the restaurant, everywhere, exudes the style of Vyland, with warm-toned lighting and furnishings.

The vaulted ceiling, with columns standing on either side.

Several statues were placed beside some of the columns.

The waiter led them through an arched door to a window-side spot.

A square table with deep brown wooden chairs, topped with soft cushions.

A soft plain tablecloth was spread over the square table.

On the table were already placed dinner plates, knives and forks, and napkins.

And a small vase for decoration.

To the right was a large floor-to-ceiling window, with many potted plants beside it.

The waiter pulled out a chair for Selena to sit down, then brought over two menus.

Selena didn’t quite understand, so she entrusted it to Sterling.
