Reborn as the Sweetheart of a Paranoid Boss-Chapter 310: I Won’t Resist
Selena Kensington smiled, "Thanks."
Once the foreign girl left, Selena returned to Sterling Norwood’s side.
"Actually, you don’t have to steal a kiss; I won’t resist."
Selena smiled and gave him a playful glare, "You wish!"
She showed Sterling the photo that the foreign girl had taken.
In the photo, the woman looked charming and sweet, her smile filled with happiness.
But her actions were rather assertive, pulling the man’s tie towards her.
Like a cheeky wildcat, she left a kiss on the man’s cheek.
The man she stole the kiss from subconsciously went along with her movement.
His expression was slightly blank, his eyes lowered.
The look he gave the woman was full of sincerity and affection.
"That girl has pretty good photography skills!"
Selena exclaimed. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
"Yeah, I like it too."
Rather than saying Sterling liked this set of photos, it was better to say he liked any picture with Selena in it.
Selena returned the camera to Sterling.
A pigeon flew next to Selena in the square.
It seemed to be searching for something on the ground beside her.
Selena was surprised, "Is it... hungry?"
She crouched down and looked at the few pigeons around.
She called out to Sterling, "Sterling, take out the waffles from my bag."
That pack of waffles was bought earlier at the supermarket with Sterling; Selena hadn’t eaten much.
Before coming to Mirel, afraid she might crave snacks while playing, she put several packs in her bag.
Unexpectedly, they were now coming in handy.
Sterling handed over the waffles, and Selena tore open the packaging, breaking off pieces to feed the pigeons.
Because Selena had food over here, several pigeons from not too far away were also drawn in.
They bowed their heads, eating the food on the ground.
Sterling stood a little farther away, picked up the camera, and captured the scene.
Selena shared for a while until the pack of waffles was all gone.
Seeing more and more pigeons gathered around her, she felt a bit helpless.
Regardless of whether the pigeons could understand, she said to herself, "There’s no more, really no more."
She even waved the empty packaging bag in her hand.
After speaking, she stood up.
Because of her movement, the pigeons surrounding her seemed startled and flew away.
"Fly away quickly."
Selena smiled as she watched the flock of pigeons.
Sterling walked over and took the trash from Selena’s hands, heading towards the nearby trash can.
When he returned, Selena asked with a grin, "Did you capture it just now?"
Sterling responded, and once again took her hand, "We’ll look at it later. Let’s go in first."
Selena leaned slightly against his arm, feeling delighted.
The two of them went to Mirel Cathedral’s ticket office, bought tickets, and followed the tourists inside the Cathedral.
The inside of the Cathedral was also constructed with marble.
The center hall was relatively long and narrow in width, stretching all the way.
The hall relied entirely on the side windows for light; the windows were narrow and long, embedded with stained glass that cast a dim and mysterious light.
The large stained glass windows between the pillars were one of the prominent decorative features of Gothic architecture.
Selena was quite curious about those windows, the craftsmanship on the stained glass was exquisite.
She had learned these stained glasses were made over five hundred years ago, yet still dazzling today.
She held Sterling’s hand as they wandered inside.
By the end of the walk, her legs felt a bit sore.
"No wonder it’s one of the world’s five great cathedrals; how long will it take to finish exploring..."
Sterling glanced at the nearby elevator.
"Want to check out the top floor?"
Selena nodded, "Yes, let’s go!"
They paid a small fee and took the elevator up to the top floor of the Cathedral.
