Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate-Chapter 717: Making Her Popular
"That’s great, Brother Fletcher, you’ve really thought this through," Ophelia Wilson excitedly looked at Albert Fletcher, his arrangements were just perfect.
She could steal the show at Old Mr. Seymour’s birthday banquet and wash away the humiliation of the last engagement party.
"Have you agreed?" Albert Fletcher asked.
"Of course, I agreed!" Ophelia Wilson nodded repeatedly, her eyes shining with excitement.
"Alright then, I’ll go ahead and make the arrangements. Tomorrow we’ll announce your endorsement, and make sure everything is coordinated," Albert Fletcher said with a smile. "If you have any opinions, let me know today, and I’ll set everything up for you as much as I can."
"Great." Ophelia Wilson was so thrilled she could already imagine how her popularity would soar once the news was released.
After carefully discussing everything with Ophelia, Albert Fletcher went off to handle the next steps. Compared to Ophelia’s excitement, he felt a cold sarcasm in his heart.
If Ophelia knew just how "glorious" she would be at Old Mr. Seymour’s birthday banquet, would she be even happier?
As her manager, it was naturally his job to boost Ophelia’s popularity until she was known by all!
——
Old Mr. Seymour’s birthday banquet wasn’t held at their house; instead, it was arranged early at a hotel with everything prepared by professionals.
The goal of today was to make Old Mr. Seymour happy, not to tire him out.
As Sophie Wilson was about to become a member of the Seymour Family, she naturally arrived early with Charles Seymour, accompanied by Clarissa and Mason Wilson, who were also there early to chat and converse with Old Mr. and Mrs. Seymour.
No surprise, Mason Wilson and Old Mr. Seymour had plenty to talk about regarding business matters, and they chatted happily as if they were long-time buddies.
Clarissa Taylor was conversing warmly with Old Mrs. Seymour, finding plenty to talk about as well. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
Charles Seymour, meanwhile, took Sophie to enjoy the view from the hotel’s balcony. The enclosed balcony was warm and comfortable, ensuring Sophie wouldn’t get cold.
"Are you hungry?" Charles Seymour asked, knowing they would be dining a bit later than usual given the number of guests arriving.
Thankfully, Old Mr. Seymour was quite traditional and didn’t opt for a cocktail buffet.
At least during the meal, they could enjoy some good food, knowing full well that Sophie wasn’t too fond of cocktail buffets.
"I’m not hungry," Sophie Wilson giggled from Charles’s embrace, "I felt like I ate too much at lunch."
As she spoke, Sophie touched her stomach and pressed it gently, chuckling, "I still feel like I haven’t fully digested it, so it’ll be just right when it’s time to eat later."
Charles Seymour extended his hand, gently rubbing her stomach, "Does it feel uncomfortable?"
"Not at all." Sophie tapped the back of Charles’s hand, "Don’t rub it too much."
Doesn’t this guy know how warm his palms are?
Too much rubbing might cause trouble.
"Uncle, you’re hiding here and flirting with Auntie again, huh," the fearless Julian Campbell dashed onto the balcony, cheekily teasing them.
He really wasn’t worried about getting beaten up by his uncle.
Charles Seymour glanced at Julian. If it weren’t a family member, he would have kicked him by now.
"What brings you over here?" Sophie knew her Mr. Seymour wasn’t too fond of Julian, and she asked with a laugh.
"Too many people, it’s annoying," Julian helplessly brushed his hair, messing up his perfectly styled hair into a slicked-back look, though it showed off his smooth forehead, making him quite handsome still.
