After handing the creature over to the research department for dissection and analysis, he received another monetary reward from the experts. The training center also held a special commendation ceremony to honor the heroic deeds of Zhao Rong and the three women. With this, Zhao Rong once again became the talk of the town and the entire training center.

Despite achieving both fame and fortune, it was time for Zhao Rong to move out of Lili’s dorm. His mission to protect her there was complete, and he couldn’t shamelessly overstay his welcome. However, when he began to move his things, Lili was incredibly reluctant to let him go. This short period of living together had made her grow even fonder of him. As Zhao Rong was moving his belongings out, a reluctant Lili approached him. "Zhao Rong, do you really have to move out?"

He nodded. "The serpentine monster has been caught, so of course, I have to."

Seeing his nonchalant expression, a sense of loss washed over her. "After living together for so long, don’t you feel even a little bit sad to leave this girls’ dorm?"

Zhao Rong’s gaze drifted to a mirror on the windowsill. "I do feel a bit nostalgic, especially when I look at that mirror every night."

Lili glanced at the mirror, completely baffled by his comment.

As he stepped out of the room, she called out, "Zhao Rong, you’re still my bodyguard! So if I get scared at night, I’ll call you. You have to come to my dorm and keep me company..."

Hearing her request for him to "keep her company," Zhao Rong paused. He looked back at her and said, "I might not be the cleverest guy, and there’s a lot I can’t do, but keeping someone company in bed? That’s a job I am more than qualified for."

With that, he gave her a dazzling smile. When Lili saw it, she felt his smile was devastatingly charming—the sweetest in the world.

As for Zhao Rong, he had only one regret about leaving Lili’s dorm. I saw her sleep-pole-dance, but I never got to see her sleep-striptease. Hopefully, the next time I have to protect her, I’ll be lucky enough to witness it.

Just then, Yu Lan and Xuelian, who had long admired him, came over to see him off.

Yu Lan gazed at him. "Brother Zhao Rong, we had so many opportunities while living under the same roof... But those two pesky women were always watching, ruining our chances."

They rushed forward and pulled the two apart. "Zhao Rong, we know it’s her first kiss, but you can’t kiss her for that long! It’s not fair!"

Yu Lan added bluntly, "Zhao Rong, however you kissed Xuelian, you have to kiss me the same way!"

With that, the two of them forcefully separated the couple.

Though she was pulled from his arms, Xuelian felt a deep sense of happiness. Being kissed by Zhao Rong was enough to content her, and her tears were gone. She was certain that he must love her the most. After all, his previous kisses had been passive, but the one he gave her had been completely his own initiative.

After the kisses, the three girls escorted Zhao Rong to his dormitory door. However, just before he could step inside, an assistant came panting up the stairs.

"Zhao Rong, there’s trouble!" he gasped. "The Chairman’s three top bodyguards are here looking for you. They don’t approve of you being Miss Lili’s bodyguard. They’re saying they’re going to take your place!"

Zhao Rong was taken aback. I’ve protected Lili perfectly. Why would they want to replace me? Are they just jealous? Fine. If they want to take my job and steal my women, then I’ll just have to give them a taste of what I’m made of. I’ll teach them not to judge a book by its cover.

With that thought, he charged down the stairs.
