My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 164 - 158: Haven’t Seen You in Years, Turned into a Bandit?
Justine Archer was stunned for a long moment before she saw Eve Lowell pick up her phone and call her grandfather. Eve’s voice was so cold it sent a shiver down the spine.
"Grandfather, how is my brother supposed to woo anyone if he won’t come back?"
"Just ’invite’ The Concubine to the old family residence. You think he won’t come back then?"
"As for what comes next, I’ll make sure they end up together."
That evening, Aurora Sinclair suddenly received a text from Ethan Lowell asking to meet.
[Ethan Lowell: I’m waiting for you at the West Gate of Arcadian University.]
Confused, Aurora Sinclair called the number, but the other end was immediately disconnected.
She glanced at the time on her phone: 10:15 PM.
Pursing her lips, she changed her clothes and prepared to leave.
Leigh Miles was watching TV in the living room. Seeing Aurora dressed to go out, she sat up straight and asked curiously, "Aurora, where are you going so late?"
"Arcadian University." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
"Is it Morgan?" Leigh Miles asked, glancing at the time in confusion. Morgan wouldn’t normally have her go out this late.
Aurora Sinclair shook her head. "No, a classmate."
"A classmate? What’s their name? A guy or a girl?"
Ever since being sternly lectured by her master and senior brother, Leigh Miles had become very protective of Aurora’s social life, especially when it came to men.
"Ethan Lowell," Aurora Sinclair said as she changed her shoes by the door. She glanced back. "Get some sleep."
"Wait..."
But the door had already closed behind her.
Leigh Miles quickly grabbed the remote, paused the TV show starring Darius Lynch, and ran into her room to change.
Titus Miles, who was still awake in bed, saw her getting ready to leave and started clamoring to go with her, but she just tucked him back under the covers.
"You go to sleep. I’ll be back soon."
"No..." Titus Miles was very strong. He shook his head again and again, looking at her with a wronged expression.
Leigh Miles sighed. "Fine, you can come. But don’t run off."

The streets were bustling at night. Aurora Sinclair had never been out this late and was surprised to see so many late-night food stalls around.
Plenty of students from Arcadian University came over here for a bite, and as Aurora Sinclair passed through, she was instantly recognized.
"Hey, isn’t that the new campus belle? She’s out for a late-night snack too?"
"It really is her. I heard she doesn’t live in the dorms, she has a place off-campus..."
"The rich really can do whatever they want! I heard her grandfather is the famous ’Real Estate King’ of Kingsford, and that a lot of high-end developments are built on Sinclair Family land. They even acquired a bunch more property a while back!"
"No wonder so many guys are after her. Marrying her would be like marrying a land baroness..."
After his remark, the guy took out his phone, snapped a casual picture, and posted it to the university forum.
[Grabbing a late-night snack, and I found the new campus belle’s home.]
The thread quickly garnered over a dozen replies, all of them asking for the address.
...
Meanwhile, Aurora Sinclair followed the GPS on her phone to the West Gate of Arcadian University.
The closer she got to the university, the quieter it became, as if the worldly clamor had faded away, washed clean of its glamour.
Suddenly, her ringtone shattered the silence of the street, sounding almost jarring.
She glanced down at her phone. It was an unknown number. Just as she was about to answer, the call disconnected.
Aurora Sinclair stopped and tried calling back, but the phone on the other end was already turned off.
In a hotel room somewhere, Ethan Lowell was bound hand and foot by members of the Lowell Family who had rushed over. He watched in fury as the phone he had fought so hard to grab was smashed to pieces.
"You—"
"Young Master, these are the Family Head’s orders. It would be best for you to cooperate. Otherwise, it’s hard to say how long The Concubine will be a ’guest’ at the old family residence..."
Ethan Lowell clenched his fists, glaring at them with a look of pure, unadulterated rage.

The West Gate of Arcadian University was always quiet, and now it was utterly deserted, save for a black luxury car parked silently by the side of the road.
Her expression suddenly darkened. She glanced at her phone before slowly slipping it back into her pocket.
She could hear faint breathing. There were at least five or six Great Martial Masters nearby.
Just then, a middle-aged man emitting the fluctuations of a Martial Arts Master slowly stepped out of a sports coupe.
He was dressed in a formal suit and approached with a smile. "You must be Miss Sinclair?"
Aurora Sinclair nodded.
"I am Henry Lowell, the steward of the Lowell Family. My young master would like to invite you for a late-night snack. If you would please come this way..."
Aurora Sinclair didn’t move. Instead, her gaze shifted to a dark corner nearby.
Henry Lowell’s heart skipped a beat. He spoke to redirect her attention, "Miss Sinclair, please get in the car!"
But before Henry Lowell could react, Aurora Sinclair shot toward the hidden corner with incredible speed and seized a hand that was holding up a camera.
Henry Lowell’s eyes darkened. The Power within him surged as he threatened in a cold voice, "Miss Sinclair, our young master is waiting..."
Before he could finish, a sharp *crack* echoed out. She had snapped the camera in two. With a squeeze of each hand, she crushed the halves into scrap metal.
Terrified, the paparazzo collapsed to the ground, trembling. When he met Aurora Sinclair’s gaze, he scrambled backward, pleading, "It... it wasn’t my idea... They told me to get pictures of you and Young Master Lowell on a late-night date..."
Aurora Sinclair glanced at him, then suddenly crouched down, raising her arm and turning her watch to face him. "Say that again."
"I... I..."
"Aurora—Aurora—"
Aurora Sinclair turned to see Leigh Miles rushing over, pulling Titus Miles along with her.
Henry Lowell’s face hardened. He snapped his fingers, and the Great Martial Masters hidden in the shadows immediately revealed themselves, surrounding Leigh and Titus.
Leigh Miles’s expression changed. She pushed Titus Miles behind her as her own Power rose warily.
Henry Lowell shot her a curious glance, a flicker of light in his eyes. He opened the car door and continued, "Miss Sinclair, if you please—"
"Aurora, don’t go with them—" Leigh Miles yelled, shielding Titus as she backed away.
One of the Great Martial Masters moved to grab them but was sent flying back by a single punch from Leigh.
The man clutched his stomach, staring at her in horror, seemingly unable to believe that she was a Great Martial Master.
Aurora Sinclair sprinted toward them, but Henry Lowell grabbed her arm. A Martial Arts Master’s Power surged from his hand into Aurora’s meridians.
Aurora whipped around with a punch, striking Henry Lowell with immense Power and sending him stumbling back seven or eight steps.
She immediately rushed to Leigh and Titus, planting herself in front of them.
Clutching his aching stomach, Henry Lowell stared at Aurora Sinclair in shock.
That kind of strength didn’t belong to a Great Martial Master Fifth Rank.
He might not be able to carry out Miss Eve’s orders today.
The five or six Great Martial Masters cautiously surrounded the trio, not daring to make a move. The Miss Sinclair in the center, with her placid expression, seemed utterly unfathomable.
Just then, the click-clack of high heels echoed down the silent street. Henry Lowell’s expression changed, and he shot a look at one of the Great Martial Masters.
The man immediately strode toward the source of the sound, but a single palm strike sent him flying to the roadside with a howl of pain.
Henry Lowell looked toward the sound and saw a short-haired woman in a beige trench coat and high heels approaching slowly. A lit cigarette was perched between her fingers.
"Henry Lowell. It’s been a few years. Have you become a common thug?"
Henry Lowell’s eyes narrowed slightly before his expression changed in an instant. "Eldest Miss," he exclaimed in surprise, "what are you doing back?"
Indie Lowell took a drag from her cigarette and exhaled a plume of smoke. She walked up to one of the Great Martial Masters and smiled. "Don’t be nervous..."
The moment he relaxed, she jabbed the lit cigarette against his face. Accompanied by a squeal like a stuck pig, the man clutched himself and dropped to his knees.
Leigh drew in a sharp breath as she watched the woman calmly retract her foot. The long, thin stiletto heel seemed to glint under the lamplight.
"Eldest Miss, this was on Young Master Ethan’s orders," Henry Lowell said in a cold voice, suppressing the displeasure in his eyes.
"Oh? Is that so?" Indie said. "Take me to him."
"That’s..."
"Is it inconvenient?" Indie asked as she moved again. Another Great Martial Master fell to the ground in agony.
"Eldest Miss, these are all disciples of the Lowell Family! Please, show mercy."
