The two of them talked for a while about Simon Forrester’s career change.

Her attitude was sincere, and every word seemed to consider Simon Forrester and Sienna Thornton. Thinking that Simon Forrester might mind Thomas Reed’s previous feelings for Sienna Thornton, she assumed he would keep it from Sienna, but to her surprise, he told Sienna about it that very night.

Upon hearing this, Sienna immediately found it strange. From what she knew of Thomas Reed, he wasn’t the kind of man who would turn to drugs over an unrequited love.

They spent the whole night trying to contact Thomas Reed and finally got in touch with him late that night after he got off a flight. It turned out he had flown to Briton during the day and had his phone off.

Simon Forrester informed Thomas Reed of what happened that day and told him to look into the matter. A few days later, the news of Thomas Reed breaking up with Jane Jefferson surfaced.

So when Jane Jefferson sent photos to Sienna Thornton and claimed she was pregnant with Simon Forrester’s child, although Sienna was shocked and angry, she didn’t have a shred of doubt about Simon Forrester.

However, this incident trapped Sienna Thornton and Simon Forrester in a deadlock.

As Sienna Thornton explained to Simon Forrester, unless Jane Jefferson was after the Forrester’s money or intended for the child to be a part of the Forrester household, they wouldn’t be able to demand she do a paternity test.

Proving a man hasn’t had a relationship with a woman is extremely difficult. Although Simon Forrester didn’t need to prove his innocence, public opinion could tarnish his image.

Just the thought of rumors spreading years later in Brimfield about Simon Forrester having an illegitimate child; or strangers telling their children - ’You have a half-brother or sister’, drove Sienna to the brink of insanity.

She never imagined she’d have to deal with something so ugly and yet so helpless with Simon Forrester.
