Adrian did not flinch or rather he did not do anything at all because High Wizard Dore already casted protections spells for him. The large sword hit numerous barriers before being bounced off. Adrian did not need to unleash his transformation, but he is actually quite fast even in his current cat form. He would have been able to dodge easily jus by utilizing his own innate speed since his stats are not reduced.

"The old fogey is here. Release the thing." Murai stated as he looked at the Barrier Master within their group.

The Barrier Master nodded and changed the seals of the barrier that isolated them as the space they are in is now independent from the world. The Barrier Master can now rewrite some of the laws of the space since he is the owner of it, but he is not yet proficient. The large load of changing the laws of the space is being lessened by the pure quality mana stones that is carried by the Barrier Master. Pure quality mana stones cost an incredible amount of mana and this an only be supplied by Lady Goldenclaw’s family.

"Kill all of the others first so I can have more material!" The Jiangshi master shouted to Murai as Charon was blocking most of the Jiangshi from moving just from his aura alone.

"Uhm… Equinox. Is this not a good time for you to enter the battle?" Piggy Bank stated.

"You are right! I will supervise everything that you need to do. Go against that warrior for me." Adrian stated as Piggy Bank looked at him with judging eyes.

"Why not you?!" Piggy Bank asked.

"I cannot undo the transformation hehe." Adrian stated with a playful tone.

"Maybe High Wizard Dore could do it." Piggy Bank stated as he saw the high wizard having difficulty creating spells as the mana and the burden increased by almost twofold.

"He is also busy trying to create barriers for everyone. If they get breached, then all of them will die as the undead are still being created by that Jiangshi user. You could just reimburse the money that you burnt from saving all of them." Adrian pointed out and suddenly Piggy Bank is fired up to chare at Murai.

Adrian could only shake his head as Piggy Bank was more worried about the amount of money he will burn than the lives of the other merchants. Then again, even he will not care most about them as he was scorned and practically bullied without any justification. Adrian even heard their pitiful cries towards Lady Goldenclaw as some of them were her accomplices but now they are also in the chopping block.

"Lady Goldenclaw! What is the meaning of this! You told us that we will not be harmed!" One of the branch leaders shouted as a demand and the others of his flock soon followed but they were all ignored by Lady Goldenclaw.

"You are not a living being. How are you moving that corpse when it has no soul." Adrian stated as he walked a little bit closer to Lady Goldenclaw, but he was far enough not to get harmed as Sirius and Charon are looking out for him.

Adrian found it strange that a soulless corpse is able to move because even undead controlled by necromancers need a soul to function. Even undead have souls and this is the fundamental nature of a being in order to move their body, but Lady Goldenclaw was different. She was a dead corpse filled with something that acts like a soul but is not one.

"If you join me then I will gladly tell you." Lady Goldenclaw stated as she shot out needs hidden in her dress.

Adrian easily evaded all the needles with his catlike reflexes, and he must say that his flexibility has been enhanced. Adrian was just bluffing to Piggy Bank that he cannot undo his transformation. He just wanted Piggy Bank to be remembered as a hero by the other members of the merchant guild to increase his influence. Adrian needed Piggy Bank to have a solid position in the merchant guild in order to help him from future troubles.

"What are you cat?! This is getting really frustrating! Kill all of them now or else I will kill all of you along with them." Lady Goldenclaw shouted as she once again released needles towards Adrian.

Lady Goldenclaw was getting pretty impatient as no one has yet to die. All the Jiangshi are being held back by Charon and High Wizard Dore. Sirius and Piggy Bank are fighting against Murai which proved to be a good matchup as they are locked in a stalemate. The barrier master and the jiangshi user are both unable to do much as one is maintaining the isolation while the other us trying to create more of his undead.

"You will need to pay me with fifty pure women for this, Lady Goldenclaw." The Jiangshi user stated as he suddenly used a knife to cut his palm.

The Jiangshi user then placed the coffin on his back to the ground and slammed his bleeding palm onto it. Almost all of the Jiangshi that are active suddenly turned to mist and gathered towards the coffin. After a few seconds, the coffin that the Jiangshi user has suddenly burst open to reveal a female Jiangshi with weird features.

The female Jiangshi that came out looked like it had emotions in its eyes. It is also dressed in a warrior’s attire but there was something different about it. There were two large monstrous clawed hands that is attached to its back which made it have four arms.
