Nine Revolutions Star Transformation-Chapter 98 - 99: Sea Dragon Academy’s Plot

Following the footprints, Chu Lin and Feng swiftly traversed the forest. Both harbored intentions to outdo the other, though Chu Linfeng felt it was a bit over the top.

"Yang Rui, how many moves would it take for you to kill someone at the Third Level of Earth Martial Realm?" Chu Linfeng asked while walking.

"Nonsense, if I didn’t want to know, why would I ask!" At this moment, Chu Linfeng found Yang Rui even more difficult to handle than Tang Li.

Yang Rui observed Chu Linfeng’s skeptical expression and chuckled, "This is a unique skill of the Yang Sect; it harms the enemy a thousand, but oneself eight hundred. It’s only used when absolutely necessary; don’t expect me to help you!"

"Oh, such martial skills exist? Definitely astonishing!" Chu Linfeng found himself shocked as well.

"Roar!"

Suddenly, a beast’s anger-filled roar echoed from afar, clearly upset by someone battling it.

Chu Linfeng looked towards the roar’s origin and said, "Someone’s fighting a magical beast over there, probably Sea Dragon Academy folks. Our competition is about to start."

From a distance, Chu Linfeng noticed approximately ten people besieging two enormous magical beasts, and the battle was fierce.

"Ten people, I’ll kill seven, you kill three. If you manage to kill four, you win. How about that?" Chu Linfeng whispered.

"That’s your promise. What if you lose?" Yang Rui swiftly agreed, missing such an opportunity would be foolish.

Chu Linfeng chuckled, "What if you lose?"

"If I lose, I’ll agree to one request from you, how about you?"

"Same, but I’ll agree to two requests from you!"

Chu Linfeng, gripping the Cyan Frost Sword, flashed forward towards the others. Yang Rui was not one to lag, her speed equally swift, reaching Chu Linfeng within less than two seconds.

Sea Dragon Academy students besieging the magical beasts were startled by these unexpected guests, but upon seeing these newcomers weren’t their academy mates, they laughed.

"Another one here to die, aren’t we lucky!" One of them laughed.

"Not to die, but to deliver Demon Crystals, I’m sure they have plenty. Kill the guy, but don’t kill the girl. We can have some fun with her later." Another disgusting-looking youth sneered.

"Courting death!" Yang Rui hadn’t expected the youth would say such, and immediately fired three red streaks.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" The youth was blown apart, leaving nothing behind.

Chu Linfeng was a bit awestruck; Yang Rui had such formidable firearms. The opponent was at least Second Level Earth Martial Realm, yet was annihilated with a mere wave of the hand. Terrifying.

"Get them! Kill that girl and that guy!" One person shouted, seemingly the leader of the group.

Chu Linfeng appeared to ponder something, suddenly flitting his form and angrily swiping with his Cyan Frost Sword, "Today, you’ll learn that we at Celestial Dragon Academy aren’t to be trifled with by you Sea Dragon scoundrels!"

With that, his Cyan Frost Sword emitted a meter-long Sword Aura, flying straight towards the nearest student.

Seeing Chu Linfeng use his sword as a projectile, the student sneered, "Celestial Dragon Academy folk are truly useless..."

He hadn’t finished speaking when Chu Linfeng’s Cyan Frost Sword pierced his heart and continued towards another student.

Within less than three minutes, five students fell, all slain gruesomely by Chu Linfeng’s Cyan Frost Sword, never understanding why the sword could curve, seeking the next target with such might.

By this time, Yang Rui had killed three people, two with firearms. Alongside Chu Linfeng’s five, eight were dead. Yang Rui only needed to kill one more to win over Chu Linfeng.

The long sword in her hand danced even more quickly, each strike crackling with Wind Thunder, making the remaining three tremble in fear.

Chu Linfeng grew anxious; Yang Rui was proving even more formidable than imagined. Losing would be a major embarrassment.

"Wait! Who are you people? How can you be so strong?" asked one Sea Dragon Academy student, shock evident on his face.

"Even in death, you utter nonsense. We’re from Celestial Dragon Academy; now you can die!" With that, Chu Linfeng prepared to unleash the eighth move of the Wind Chasing Sword Technique, Wind Over the World.

"I’m aware we can’t escape death today, but one thing baffles me. This interface should be for the regular class, why are you here?" another Sea Dragon Academy student queried, unwilling to give up.

"If you can be here, we certainly can appear as well, odd isn’t it?" Chu Linfeng smiled.

"Impossible! You won’t know our plans. How could your elite class be here? Impossible!"

Hearing this, Chu Linfeng’s face darkened, realizing Sea Dragon Academy had clearly breached competition rules, allowing elite students into the regular class, with dire consequences imaginable.

"You mean your elite class entered the regular interface too? Coincidental!" Testing the veracity, Chu Linfeng signaled Yang Rui to hold off.

"Encountering Celestial Dragon elite students is our bad luck, but you won’t live long. Soon you’ll face our academy’s elite experts, and then you’ll meet an even worse fate!" The boy quickly produced an explosive-like object.

"Not good! He’s signaling allies! Stop him!" Yang Rui saw it was a signaling device and urgently spoke up.

"Courting death!" Chu Linfeng, enraged, unleashed the Chaos Qi-infused Wind Over the World of the Wind Chasing Sword Technique.

Countless Wind Blades instantly encircled the target and his nearby comrade.

This sword didn’t contain Star Power but Chaos Qi, its might even greater, shredding the target to pieces before he could send a signal, and his fellow suffered the same fate.

Yang Rui was visibly taken aback by this move, muttering, "Completely insane, such incredible power!"

"Hahahahaha! Done! Time to collect the spoils!" Knowing he had won, Chu Linfeng said nothing about it; instead, he scavenged the dead Sea Dragon students for Storage Belts, hoping they contained Star Stones and Demon Crystals.
