New World with Four Husbands-Chapter 632: Addition to the family [2]
"I’m fine with it." Alhai said, all the while crossing his arms and turning his head away from Coco.
"You don’t look like it though." Coco mumbled, her frown deepening.
Zaque quickly whipped his head at the third husband, his eyes squinting into a pointed glare. "Alhai, you better straighten up right now and answer our wife properly."
"Seriously, I’m fine with it." Alhai sighed, uncrossing his arms and letting them fall back to his side.
"Same here, Coco." Heiren chimed in, his lips quirking up into a smile. "I mean, it should already be obvious because I was the one who told you to give Kairo a kiss, didn’t I?"
Coco blinked and her cheeks flushed with warmth when she remembered the kiss she shared with Kairo. "Y-Yeah.."
Quizen narrowed his eyes. "What’s with that reaction? Is he a better kisser than me?"
"Is that something you should be getting jealous over, Quizen?" Heiren asked, his eyebrows furrowing as he turned to his friend who looked like he was ready to challenge Kairo into a fight.
"I would be jealous, too, if Coco showed that reaction after experiencing something with one of you when I know that I’m better at it." Alhai stated, shooting Heiren a sideways glance with an apparent knowing look in his face.
"Wow." Zaque mumbled, an incredulous look on his face as he stared blankly at Alhai.
"I know, right?" Alhai scoffed, his eyes rolling once again. "I can’t fathom the thought of being called lesser than one of you, especially when I know that I could do it better."
"You’re just looking down on us now." Heiren huffed, glaring menacingly at Alhai.
"Yeah, you better stop it, Alhai." Coco agreed with the second husband’s statement and shot him a disappointed glance. "Anyway, no one is better than anyone. Just.. Just because I had that kind of reaction doesn’t mean that Kairo is better than any of you."
Coco sighed softly through her nose, her eyebrow twitching. "I don’t even know what you meant by my reaction.."
"Your cheeks are red, Coco." Kairo pointed out, his voice soft and soothing. "Maybe that’s why? Because you look like I was better than them."
Coco blinked, head turning to look at the hybrid. "My cheeks are red?"
"Yes, wife." Zaque sighed out, his eyes sweeping across Coco’s red cheeks that became redder upon pointing it out to her. "And.. It’s more red now. Are you okay? Do you need to take a break?"
"No." Coco murmured, raising a hand to cover her face.
"You’re so adorable." Quizen cooed, his pupils dilating at the sight of such an endearing reaction from his wife. "How can someone be this cute? Goodness, I think I’m having a heart attack right now."
"Should I call for mom?" Heiren asked, shifting his focus on the fourth husband.
The other three mediators might be playing it cool, but internally, they are having the same reaction as the blue haired mediator— the sight of Coco looking a little red because she was getting shy was an absolute sight for sore eyes.
"N-No need." Quizen mumbled, raising a hand to cover his own face. "Seriously, can we just get this over with? If this takes longer than this, then I don’t think I’ll be able to let Coco walk out of this room without seeing her trembling."
The insinuation of his words immediately made Coco’s face warm, which quickly travelled down to her neck.
"Quizen!" She exclaimed, feeling embarrassed beyond words. "Don’t you have any shame? Kairo’s right here! He’s not even part of the family yet—"
"But he already is." Zaque said, cutting off Coco.
"If he’s not part of the family yet, then did you lock all of us inside here?" Alhai asked, slowly making his way towards the kitchen and pressing his back into it.
He had already taken her in this very room, laid her out on the table, feasted on the finest meal between her legs, and made her a quivering mess, so he’s not afraid to do it all again.
He doesn’t even care if it means he’s getting his turn last with all of her husbands, and a possible husband, taking their turn first.
"Didn’t you say that you wanted to talk about Kairo being added to our family?" Heiren hummed, tilting his head as he eyed Alhai, silently asking to keep guarding the door until they’re fully done.
"If you’re not considering adding him, then why did you gather all of us here?" Quizen asked this time, his face becoming blank as he addressed the matter at hand as well.
Zaque didn’t want to pressure Coco into confessing what she truly wanted, but he knew that if he doesn’t do anything now, then this matter would end later than sooner, and didn’t she say that she would like to get this out of the way?
"Didn’t you mention that you’re worried about us faking our acceptance of Kairo and hiding our pain?" The red haired mediator spoke up, catching the attention of the other men inside the room. "We wouldn’t want him to be added if we don’t want this, Coco."
What Zaque learned over time, it’s better to be frank with Coco rather than beating around the bush.
He felt a little upset about himself for not being completely and firmly honest with his opinion about the matter when Coco showed signs of hesitation, but now that she’s addressing it head-on, he decided to take the chance.
"If you don’t want to decide for yourself, then would you like us to decide for you instead?" Zaque asked, tilting his head.
Heiren perked up at the question. "Yes, that’s right— if you don’t want to decide for yourself because you think that we don’t want this.. Then how about we decide for you instead?"
"O-Okay.." Coco mumbled, her legs growing weak under her weight.
The hybrid was quick to notice and immediately reached out to catch her before she fell flat into the kitchen floor.
