New World with Four Husbands-Chapter 553: Hugs, kisses, and comfort [2]
"Hmm.. No, no, no, it’s fine." Quizen mumbled, his eyes staring straight at Coco’s eyes, but looking like his mind was elsewhere.
Coco doesn’t know what to feel and think except for worry and confusion.
"He’s fine." Alhai stated bluntly, standing up from his spot on the floor with a grunt. "That airhead is probably thinking of all the possible things he wants to do with you."
Coco cast a glance at Alhai, her eyebrows furrowed. "Really? So I didn’t make him uncomfortable?"
"No." Alhai answered, shaking his head.
"Let go of him, Coco." Zaque called and made his way to the bed. "I’ll have him move to the side. Kairo and Heiren should be back any minute now so we have to make room."
Coco did as she was told and slowly let go of Quizen’s cheeks, but she perked up and whipped her head to Zaque’s direction.
"I’m sorry, but can you repeat what you just said?" Coco said, her eyes wide in disbelief.
"Yes? Kairo and Heiren should be back any minute now so I was suggesting to make some room for the five of us?" Zaque stated, his eyebrows creasing together in confusion. "Did I say something wrong?"
"Well, yes—" Coco started, only to gasp when the bed dipped and a hand firmly squeezed her left thigh.
"If this is about Kairo, no need to fret." Alhai hummed, his fingers resting dangerously close to Coco’s heat. "We wanted to talk to you about him anyway.. Which we will do later, okay? Don’t worry about it for now."
Coco’s cheeks bloomed with heat, her face slowly becoming red due to how close Alhai’s fingers were to where he was inside the other night.
"I, I.. I get it." Coco stammered out, her eyes blown wide with embarrassment.
The corner of Alhai’s lips curled up into a smirk, pleased with the effect he has on Coco, and leaned in to place a kiss on her cheek. "That’s a good girl. Don’t think too much for now, hm?"
"Alhai." Zaque called, his voice laced with warning.
The silver haired mediator raised an eyebrow and tilted his head. "What? I didn’t do anything. I was only asking her to not worry about it."
"As if I’ll believe that with your hand on her thigh." Zaque grunted out, reaching it to smack his hand away from her. "Don’t you dare touch her like that tonight. Let her rest."
Alhai promptly raised both of his hands beside his head, an act of surrender, and huffed. "Relax. I wasn’t planning on doing anything."
"Wasn’t planning anything, you say?" Zaque repeated, his red eyes narrowing into a glare. "You were seducing her, Alhai. That’s not something you should be doing after what happened—"
"Stop!" Coco hissed, practically screaming and alerting the three mediators out of their own stupors. "Are you two here just to argue with each other? If so, get out of my room! Leave Quizen, Heiren, and Kairo here!"
Zaque and Alhai turned to her, their eyes wide.
"We’re not arguing." Alhai stated, his voice coming out in a rush.
"Yes, we’re not." Zaque agreed, nodding his head.
"You two sounded like you were arguing—" Quizen chimed in, but was immediately silenced when Zaque placed his hand on the back of Quizen’s head and shoved his face on the mattress.
"We’re not arguing, Coco." Zaque said, his voice firm and strained this time. "I promise."
"Yes, yes, we’re not." Alhai egged Zaque’s statement with a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes. "We were merely having a conversation."
"Yes!" Zaque exclaimed, his eyes lighting up with relief. "That’s right, Coco! We were just talking!"
Coco eyed them skeptically, but didn’t push it.
"Okay.." She mumbled and pushed Zaque’s hand away from Quizen’s head. "But you two need to back away. With what you pulled just now, I’m going to shower Quizen some love instead of sharing it."
Alhai gasped, frowning. "But—"
"No buts, mister!" Coco hissed and grabbed Quizen by the arms, pulling him close to her with ease. "Quizen will have kisses! None for you because I believe you already had your turn the other night."
Zaque and Quizen brightened up, their lips curling up into pleased smiles.
The two of them assume that they will have their turn to be on Coco’s bed considering that Coco’s telling Alhai to back off.
The fourth husband chuckled in glee, his arms wrapping around Coco’s waist.
Coco’s hand reflexively went up and rested itself on Quizen’s head, her fingers carding through his soft blue locks. "And about this talk regarding Kairo, I would like to have it as soon as we’re done doing what you guys want to do."
Honestly, Coco has no idea what the mediators wanted to do in her room in the first place.
However, she would not be a total killjoy and stop them from doing what they wanted to do because that’s not how a good wife is supposed to be!
The mediators wanted to include Kairo in tonight’s plan? Sure! They want to let him help? Alright. They want to have fun with Kairo? Absolutely! They want to be friends with Kairo? That would be lovely!
The thing is, Coco doesn’t care what they want to do— well, she does, but as long as what they want won’t include them getting hurt.
Coco pursed her lips as she continued caressing Quizen’s head, her eyebrows furrowing. "And it better be something that all of you, as in the four of you, had agreed upon."
I may be slow, but I’m not that slow! Coco thought, puffing a huff out through her nose.
I could tell that they’re planning on kicking Kairo out of the house and tonight is probably the last night he will be staying with us!
If that wasn’t it, then why would the mediators go as far as trying to include Kairo in everything they do? So wasn’t it obvious that they were testing the waters and wanted him out of the house?
