Narika: The Ghost Bride-Chapter 216 - Two Hundred And Sixteen:Rowan, An Ancient Demon.

In a red room, a silhouette of a man was seen, all dressed up in a black coat, that stopped at his feet. He stood 6 ft tall and was seen looking outside the window from the inner part of the room he stayed in hiding.

With his long dark hair cascading down with half of it in braids. It covered half of his face, so his face wasn’t that visible towards the guards that had been keeping guard of the secret room for ages.

No one knew of him.

No...no one remembered him, and that has been because everyone thought that he was dead and had gone into extinction for a long while.

At his back, down on the floor of the room where the lifeless body of five young virgins lay dead, with their blood drained out of them. It made the man, no,the creature in there, make everyone who were living under the same vicinity worry about the secrets that were locked behind that red room.

The few of them that knew about him had successful kept him a secret, just to make sure that in these few years that he was kept a secret was enough for him, to regain every nutrient his body needed and heal off the scars that resulted because of the torture he went through when he was captured.

The creature sensed an incoming feet that was heading for his room, and he dashed away from the window where he was watching the moonlight, and made himself busy with the weak female that was on his couch, she was to face the same treatment with the others but he had kept her alive because he had no need for her until now.

"Pl..please, let me live." The girl begged for her life, it came out more of a whisper but she’s sure the man heard her, but chose not to listen before diving for his meal.

His fangs shot out and punctured into the sides of her neck, while she screamed bloody hell. Her screams were muffled inside the room they were in because it was sound proof, so no one could hear her silly cry of help.

When the door opened, the dead girl was pushed forward and fell in front of Lucius, who looked up to see his master’s red eyes shooting up at him. His fangs bared at him before he stood up and gained composition of himself.

"I see you have been making yourself busy in my absence, I’m sorry for not keeping you company for a while." Lucius apologized, with his head coming low to show respect to the ancient demon, who ignored him before gaining his stand at the window side.

Rowan.

That’s his name, the former lover of the queen of heaven, who got banned from the crystal palace after corvining with Lucifer about how to overtake the ruler.

But that was so foolish of him, because he was in the dark about Lucifer sleeping with the woman he loved, and not only that when things had gone haywire in their plan. Lucifer got a place in hell. He got a kingdom. A people to rule while he was captured, tortured like an animal by Micheal and his brother, Gabriel only to receive a death sentence, that he didn’t actually know how he’s still alive after having his life force taken away from him.

But all thanks to Lucuis and his brilliancy. Now, he’s living off of other people’s life forces, that comes with its perks and consequences too.

One being that he could not fully control his desire to kill, that’s why he’s been locked until he has fully learned to do that with the help of the witch that was guiding him. Then, he could shapeshift into the creature he was living off the life forces, so this was not just any normal demon.

He was the advanced one, a new specie much more stronger, than Lucifer and any other demon combined and he’s out to not just kill Lucifer but to take his throne, as the new king of hell and give rise to a new world that is starting with him.

Lucius’ place in all of these was to help get him closer, under Lucifer’s wings until he manages to wipe him out, his family and any other opposition that comes his way.

But then, Lucuis notices that something was off with him, because he wasn’t the type to just keep quiet on him. Was the virgin girls not enough?

"Forgive me for asking Master, do you in any way feel unsatisfied with the girls, I could.." Lucuis tried asking him, but he was cut short by his next words.

"I heard a rumor, Lucuis." Rowan spoke up finally, with his back still facing him. He could read off anything coming from his body to know when he’s lying and saying the truth to him.

So, right now Lucuis’s been alive depends on the answer he gives him.

"What rumors, my lord?"

"I heard Lucifer has a grandson. Just like it’s been said in the prophecy, a son who is going to bring him victory in the wars against the crystal palace."Rowan said, turning to face him instantly.

He watched the way Lucuis was trying hard to pretend as if he knew nothing about this, but he knew that he had successfully gotten closer to Lucifer in these three months.

So, there’s no reason for him to keep any information about him from him.``I heard hell is raining praises on him because of the son, you assured me that you were going to get rid of him. How did he get to this level? How then did he bore a son for him?" Rowan continued, approaching him until he stopped in front of him to smell the fear that was radiating off of him.

"I didn’t see that coming master, Lucifer assured me that he..." Lucuis said, but his words got shortened, when he was dragged to meet his angry fiery red eyes.

"Lucifer isn’t trustable! How do you think i am right here, trying to gain back what was stolen from me? He isn’t trustworthy." Rowan said this was the first time he was acting this way with Lucuis.

Lucius was the third among his spies that he planted in Lucifer’s palace, but he didn’t want to hurt him because the other two weren’t as informative as he was.

"I’m sorry, Master. Forgive me." He apologized, but Rowan pushed him away before he did something that he will regret.

"Forgiving you isn’t going to change the fact that you messed up, you were supposed to stop Adrik from awakening, and i meant it when i said that you should get rid of him, I need him dead!" Rowan roared, with the tendency of his actions it affected his health because he nearly fell to the floor but Lucuis was in time to hold him.

He helped him to the couch, before disappearing instantly and appeared back holding an unwilling female virgin, then pushed her to kneel in front of him.

"You need to feed, Master." Lucuis reminded him, since he noticed that he was hesitating to do that, and that had him concerned.

The girl tried to outsmart both men, by pushing Lucius out of the way in an attempt to run but Rowan grabbed her instantly by her hair, before latching his fangs into her neck.

At this rate, the human girls would soon go into extinction from how rapidly they are disappearing from earth. But Rowan was lucky enough to have Lucius on his side, who covered his activities while working with the Lawmakers.

He covered every foul step of his, and because everyone thinks he’s dead, Crystal palace hasn’t noticed anything unusual happening yet.

But he hoped that before they do, that his master found control his urge to kill because it would only complicate things if they find out about him.

Lucuis watched Rowan push the dead girl to the floor, before standing up and regaining back his energy.

"I need my life force back, Lucuis. You are wasting my time." Rowan growled. It was locked in a secret chamber where the lawmakers had hidden it away without no one knowing of it.

"Forgive me, My lord, soon everything will be in order. But what about Adrik’s son? What shall we do about him, he’s a huge opposition to our plans?"Lucuis asked.

Rowan was silent for a while, since he didn’t know what to do at the moment."He can’t risk blowing our cover right now, Lucifer would do anything to protect him."

"I can assure you that he’s not that happy about him."

Hearing this made Rowan laugh," Typical Lucifer, he wouldn’t want the child to steal his glory, but that’s not up for debate. He will be a dead man soon, but for now, I want you to keep a close eye on him and Adrik. The rest of your brothers would do the rest."

Lucuis felt happy hearing him acknowledge them as his son,"Yes father." He said out of glee but the look Rowan gave him made the smile on his face go down, before leaving his room.
