"Dont be too harsh on her, son. She would come around soon." Alex told Nelson, who looked away from where Marya sat in a secluded part of the sitting room, far enough not to hear their discussion.

Although Nelson didn’t care if she hears it, because at this point he doesn’t care if she hears him talk about her previous actions moments ago.

She really messed up, and that’s unlike what he had seen her do. His father was trying his best to calm him down, and that’s the only thing that is stopping him from leaving the house because right now he didn’t want to be in the same place she was.

"She clearly wasn’t thinking straight, all these had left everyone, including him speechless so acting like this wouldn’t justify that you don’t have your own way of acting out about what has happened."Alex said, patting his arm to calm him down so that he wouldn’t make a mistake he would regret.

Nelson didn’t know what else to do right now, he had no assurance from Narika that she would be coming back, especially with the way Marya has acted as if she committed murder.

This was their daughter.

She had forgotten how difficult it was birthing her, and even though she had lived with the fact that she’s not normal. She should have warmed up with the idea that there was something unique about her.

Yet, she called their grandson a monster.

"So, what’s next?" Alex asked, looking away from Nelson to see Cain guiding the maids to clean up the mess Lucifer had done in his house. He still couldn’t believe that he had seen the king of hell. This is not just any story that one wouldn’t believe that he’s not real, because everything is real.

He had no way of saying that everyone was on something to be hallucinating, Lucifer is real, and he had taken Jason, the stupid goat with him, thus this was another problem that he didn’t know how exactly to tackle.

His car was still parked outside of the estate, and the cctv had already captured his entire movement coming in here. How exactly is he going to get rid of that evidence?

He thought, but when he remembered that he had Cain and the motherfucker could do anything to keep him safe, he was rest assured about the cops not invading his house anytime soon, but then it still doesn’t change the fact that someone needed to bring him back.

No one has no idea why Lucifer took him with him, but then Jason has been asking for it. Irrespective of Naomi’s warning, he had gone along to summon Lucifer in different cases. He didn’t thought of the consequences of his actions, what Vanessa would say or how she would live without her mother nor father.

"What next is that she’s clearly not coming back, so everyone can be rest assured including Marya, that she wouldn’t be coming back with the child she called a monster. So it’s safe for her." Nelson spat, glancing lastly at Marya to see that look on her face that says that she’s now regretting her actions.

But she knew better than to approach him right now, so she sat where she was without having any clue how to handle the problem she had brought to their doorsteps.

"Even if she wanted to, I’m not sure Adrik or Lucifer sound be willing to let her go with the child. The child is of great importance to hell, so they got what they wanted, but she claims she’s in love with Adrik."Nelson added.

"And you know that." Alex said, he was there. He saw the way Adrik and his granddaughter was behaving. They were very much inlove with each other and that’s nothing to lie about.

"I know nothing, father. All i want is my daughter back in one piece, I don’t care for whatever prophecy or her not being a human. Human or not, she’s still my child, my blood runs through her veins and he would be the last fool to let her go with them. Her place is with her family." Nelson seethed angrily, unlike him controlling his anger when everyone was here, right now it has unleashed.

"She has a son now, let’s not forget that too. Other than her parents, she has a family." Alex reminded him, he wanted to support him. Hell! He would do whatever to make sure that Narika gets back, but he didn’t want him lose control just like Jason did. He wouldn’t know what to do if he wakes up to see that he’s not here and is gone with Lucifer.

"Seriously, father. I’m confused on where exactly your loyalty stands in." Nelson voiced out his opinion about him talking as if he’s siding with Lucifer.

"Ofcourse, you know that i would do anything for you, to save my granddaughter to make up for the times that we were apart, but to do that we need to be careful, we don’t want what happened to Jason to happen to you too, regardless of you being angry at your wife. She needs you right now." Alex said, tilting his head to where Marya was with hot tears trailing down her face while waiting for Nelson to give her the sign to come to him.

"We still have Naomi, and she knows how to get to Lucifer and to Narika too. So we are not at a loss here, we just have to draft our plan more carefully and know what exactly Lucifer wants, then can we know how to sort out our differences and everyone can rest, including me too. What happened has taken a toll on me too, afterall Jason is a friend."

Nelson couldn’t help but see reasons not to listen to his father, after all it’s not like he can barge into hell or summon Lucifer while demanding that he gives him his daughter, without the creature killing him.

If there’s anything he had learned, it was that the story books about him didn’t entirely describe how wicked and cunning he can be.

"Fine, but whatever we do we do it fast, Narika might be forced to stay there." Nelson said, walking with him to the frontdoorof the house, leaving Marya inside.

"As much as you need to save your daughter, let’s not forget that there’s your sister too. Lucifer is keeping her hostage." Alex said, his voice breaking into regret and whatnot when he thinks about Polina.

"H..How do you know she’s alive? Adrik said she’s dead, father." Nelson said, but Alex shook his head in denial. He knew the series of dreams that he has been having about her these days were nothing but a sign.

It was her calling unto him to save her.

"No, she’s alive and she’s waiting for me, the only thing i can do right now after taking five years of her life being in a coma is to help save her from whatever it is Lucifer put her there to do. You owe it to her too, afterall you never came back after leaving that night."

Alex’s words made Nelson feel bad, because irrespective of him being the reason why they separated. He never did anything to try staying in contact with her, even when she continued calling his cell he didn’t pick up, because he concluded that she’s only going to beg him to come back home.

"Where is Adrian?" He asked, when he remembered that he has a younger brother, who is going to lose his shit once he heard about Narika’s disappearance and her having the baby without him.

The both had grown real close in these three months, so it didn’t cross anyone’s mind to call him in the midst of what was happening, because her having a baby in three months was no joke.

"With Camille i think, the motherfucker is a hardcore romantic. I wouldn’t be surprised if he knocks the girl up soon, they go at it like rabbits." Alex said with a smile, which Nelson joined him until they heard a commotion at their back, and they turned to see Marya standing at the door side.

"Babe,I’m sorry." She said, she can be such a child sometimes irrespective of her age, but she would always be his cute annoying wife.

So, without wasting any more time, Nelson opened his arms to her and she hugged him. Holding him tightly as if he’s going to change his mind any time soon.

It seems everyone was back to normal, despite the problem they had, but what made them strong as a family was coming together to look for a solution rather than to blame each other.

"I’m sorry, my love for yelling at you."Nelson kissed her temple, while Alex watched the cute couple with satisfaction until their little family moment was cut off by the commotion at the gate that had their attention.

Cain tried preventing then in, but when a cop showed him his ID. He let them in, followed by a vexed Sergei Monroe, Marilyn’s father.

They walked, till they stopped in front of the family, then a cop brought out a warrant showing it at Alex’s face.

"You are under arrest for the disappearance of Jason Ivanov, you are to come with us, failure to do so, we attract that we use force."
