"My lord, please have mercy. I have no idea about the crime they accuse me of. I didn’t do it please."

A woman pleaded, she was a low ranked demon assigned to Marilyn’s ward, whose main duty was to take care of the newborn demons that were born months ago.

Earlier, Marilyn who was seated beside Lucifer, in his throne room had walked into the children’s room, to find out that one out of the twin girls had gone missing. An alarm has been raised and a serious search party was conducted only to find out that Aurora was with the baby.

Vicky, the maid incharge of them had no answer for her disappearance after she had been taken in for interrogation. This was a mistake that should have been peacefully resolved until Lucifer heard of it, everyone knew about his undying obsession with Marilyn, and when he heard that she cried insearch of the children, he didn’t take it easy on the other maidens assigned to Marilyn’s consort.

So, here they were in his throne room where he decides to punish Vicky infront of everyone. His other children, his council and his queen, Marilyn were there, this time Margaret was standing there, carrying one out of the twin girls, while another maid helped her with the other.

They waited to see if Lucifer would have a change of mind, towards punishing the demon, afterall Marilyn has told him to spare her but then he wanted to exercise his power, in front of everyone for them to know that he doesn’t forgive anyone who messes with his family.

"Lucifer, please. It was just a mistake you have to let her go."Marilyn whispered to him, from where she sat but she was sure that he heard everything she was saying but chose not to pay any attention to her.

When he said nothing but raised his hands up, for his new army general to walk holding the whip with spikes decorated around it, she didn’t need anyone to tell her that there’s no changing his mind from what he was about to do.

She looked towards her left where Erimln, his best friend was and tried conversing with him to help change his friend’s mind but what Marilyn didn’t know was that Lucifer took delight in exercising his power at any given turn, whenever everyone was present.

Since three months ago, things have changed for the worse in hell. Lucifer had used that medium to strengthen his army and also to make Hell an unstoppable force in which no other dimension could easily mess with.

Although, according to the rumors circulating everywhere about Narika and the prophecy. Everyone was surprised about him not doing anything about it, in which the Lawmakers and the witches circle had tendered an apology for confusing him in the first place.

Adrik’s death had taken a turmoil on her, leaving her at his mercy with their children, who she knew she ought to protect to avoid what happened with Adrik to happen to them, Ayla and Arya.

She didn’t have the best relationship with his other children, but it didn’t matter to her because his demon seeds run so deeply within them that it was impossible to find any goodness in them, especially Abbadon, who Lucifer was probably going to kill once he finds out that he’s hitting on her.

She has always known that the idiot wasn’t normal on the first day they met, what made her fear for her life and that of her children was when Aurora accused her of leading Lucifer on to kill the rest of them, so that they could make new children he found worthy of. She didn’t know what exactly that meant until she told her about Dagan and Adrik.

Adrik was locked up in a secret chamber that she knew nothing about, as well as Dagan making her understand the kind of man she was with. He would never be able to change, Lucifer is long gone. The despicable things he had done won’t let his heart accept that there’s goodness out there more than the evil he was harboring within him.

So to avoid being on his bad side too, she did everything she could to stay as his submissive queen just like he wanted her to be. But beneath that, was a mother who wanted to save Adrik and also Dagan from his wrath.

"Begin!" Lucifer’s cold voice ringed in the room, and before everyone present the maid incharge was whipped hard, the spike attached to the whip tore her skin anywhere it came in contact with as blood spilled everywhere, while she pleaded for mercy. While she pleaded that Lucifer changes his mind soon, he did nothing but watched.

When Marilyn gagged, and stood up to leave the auditorium he held her hand immediately." Where do you think you are going? You should be accustomed to this by now." He said, angry at her cowering at the sight in front of her, while his council and children didn’t have any problem in what was happening.

She was different and that was starting to annoy him. He didn’t like the fact that she’s human but that was the significant thing that drew him to her in the first place, so why does he not find that okay now?

"Please, Lucifer.." Marilyn tried to hold in her tears, while Lucifer wasn’t planning on letting her leave until the twins started to cry and he left her to tend to them.

While the front door of his throne room was pushed open with force, and in walked Hell’s seer, making him stand up immediately as that could only mean one thing.

Before anyone could understand what was happening, a hefty thunder erupted in the sky and the lava in hell took on another’s form. It changed color and started to shake against the ground.

"Leave!!!" Lucifer roared as the others started to leave the throne room, while trying to think of what was happening. When Erin tried staying, he sent him out too leaving him with just Abbadon and the seer.

"It’s time, Lucifer." The Seer said coming closer, only for hell to shake once again as a proud smile ran across Lucifer’s face knowing what that meant.

He turned towards Abbadon, who wasn’t in the dark about what was happening: Narika is having the baby! She’s having hell’s salvation.

"Gather the men, it’s fine to bring the both of them back home where they belong!"
