Myriad Devils-Chapter 299: A righteous act
Unknowingly, an ancient pavilion had appeared near Ah Ri’s location. It immediately startled her out of the moment of mortification that plagued her mind.
Two individuals were sitting under the roof of the ancient pavilion, and Ah Ri quickly bowed to her saviors, "Ah Ri thanks the two benefactors for their benevolence."
Maarsha gently smiled.
Not long after descending from the ancient cloud pathway, they had located this situation, causing a frown to spread across her face.
She would not ignore a fine maiden about to be ravaged. And towards these Cosmos Forgers, she only waved her fingers, resulting in their deaths.
Her Dimension Lord protector could not help but sing praises, "The fourth princess is truly a very righteous soul. An exemplary soul!"
Ah Ri’s heart shuddered.
The Dimension Lord protector did not go out of his way to obscure his voice behind cosmic mysteries, so even she could hear how he referred to her.
Fourth princess?
As a member of the Moonlight Sword Clan of the Dark Sky Kingdom, she immediately understood that this princess did not originate from this Kingdom.
The sagely old man and the princess...
They were immensely powerful, so much so that Ah Ri did not even dare look at them. She could only wonder about their true identity.
"Righteous?" Maarsha hummed in response.
Her expression was thoughtful, "If only righteousness correlated to strength? If I had the strength of my brother, then I would not need to leave the Palace of Light."
"Lady Maarsha, Lord Maddison is one of one, a realm father with an abstract soul."
"Counting all who have appeared in the history of our Elven race, it does not amount to two handfuls, so you should not compare yourself to him." The protector plainly stated.
Maarsha was not angered by his words, and instead, she gently chuckled and stated, "No matter how his actions are perceived, one thing that cannot be looked down upon is the Prowler’s strength. The Plunderer..." She said with a sigh.
"Only he can be considered one of one."
"An Elven legend, Realm Father Elshen, he is the incomprehensible Realm Father." As she said this, there were traces of reverence in her eyes.
In the past seventy years, it was only natural that news of Realm Father Elshen had spread to the many Heavenly Abodes.
Outside of the Ancient City of Sun Jade, the Dimension Lords across the entire Jade Vine Pure World had observed that battle.
Their gazes peered into the secrets of the past, and recordings detailing these battles had spread to Dimension Lords throughout the Heavens!
Realm Father Elshen was a living legend, an Elven legend, an incomprehensible Realm Father...
"They even say that he wields five principles!" Maarsha’s expressionless face began to crack, and her eyes grew somewhat heated.
"Fire, Death, Fate, and many Dimension Lords have attempted to divine his destiny and see his past, but have failed, so they even suspect that, of the remaining two, one is Destiny as well, though the fifth principle is unknown."
"I don’t understand how he pulled it off, but only such a Realm Father can be considered one of one." Her almost fanatic praises caused the protector’s sagely face to show a slightly darkening expression.
"Lady Maarsha," he coughed lightly, grabbing her attention and pointing at Ah Ri, who stood respectfully outside the ancient pavilion.
From their words, and the moment the Palace of Light was mentioned, Ah Ri had begun putting the pieces together.
Palace of Light? Lady Maarsha?! Lord Maddison!!!
This princess, who had mysteriously appeared before her, was the princess!
Likely, the sagely old man was her protector.
Who could protect the princess besides an actual Dimension Lord?!
Thinking so far, Ah Ri was stuck in a trance, causing Maarsha’s lips to curl upwards.
"Young maiden, I acted solely on a whim; however, why don’t you follow me from now on?" Maarsha said with a dazzling smile.
Ah Ri was already dazed, and the fourth princess’s words only left her more stupefied.
She nodded her head in a daze, and, with somewhat unfocused eyes, approached the ancient pavilion.
But just before she could step into the ancient pavilion, her body froze up, and she thought of her Moonlight Sword Clan.
When seeing her sudden change, Maarsha glanced at her protector.
Understanding her gaze, he explained to her, his mouth obscured by cosmic mysteries, and his voice unheard by Ah Ri.
Seemingly hearing something laughable, Maarsha began giggling.
She made a gentle grabbing motion toward Ah Ri, causing the latter to be pulled into the ancient pavilion, and she then voiced, "Protector Relief, please allow the Red Heaven Clan to return to mortal dust for me."
"That is a simple matter." Protector Relief laughed whilst rubbing his beard.
Before Ah Ri’s incredulous gaze, Protector Relief stretched out his left hand, palm facing Heaven. He gently raised his palm, and right after, the sound of rumbling earth reverberated far and wide.
Maarsha pointed toward a particular direction, drawing Ah Ri’s attention. The Cosmos Forger could barely discern far into the distance, a shadowy construct lifting into the skies...
Thereafter, Protector Relief, who had gently raised his palm, suddenly flipped his palm upside down.
With his palm now facing the Earth, it gently moved downward.
Boom!
The booming explosion came from a vast distance away, but it could still be heard in the surrounding thousands of miles.
"There is no more Red Heaven Clan." Protector Relief said with a bright smile plastered across his face.
There were naturally some innocents implicated in this.
These were entities who worked in the Red Heaven Clan’s territory; however, these were, at most, Cosmos Forgers.
How many of these Cosmos Forgers populated the World Space?
It was too many, so a specific number could not be identified, not unless one actively attempted to deduce this number through the secrets of wisdom...
Anyway, just like insignificant mortals, Cosmos Forgers were inherently insignificant as well.
This could be considered, acting on a desire to achieve the greater good.
After all, in exchange for their deaths, the entire Red Heaven Clan, a great evil, was also destroyed.
Or maybe their thoughts could not be easily understood?
And maybe, Maarsha’s words contained the harsh truth. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
Indeed, the righteous act of saving Ah Ri...
It was based solely on a whim.
