Myriad Devils-Chapter 300: The Nether Lake
Even though the Nether Lake region was considered a boundary separating the nightscape Forbidden Land and the nearest land of the Dark Sky Kingdom, it was essentially part of the nightscape Forbidden Land as well.
In the Nether Lake region, reading Fate and divining Destiny was naturally very challenging, and beyond the Nether Lake region, this act was even more difficult.
The so-called fortuitous opportunity the Brilliant Light Empress sent Maarsha to acquire was not something that would be easily found, much less acquired.
It would instead be a long and tedious process that absorbed much of her time.
Possibly tens or even hundreds of years might not be unusual.
After all, with the nightscape Forbidden Land, and by extension the Nether Lake region, obscuring the secrets of Heaven & Earth, making reading Fate and divining Destiny impossible, Maarsha had no choice but to slowly seek out this opportunity.
She had no choice but to slowly maneuver through this region, and how large was this region?
This was always the case.
The so-called opportunity that attracted the destiny of Boundless Light Empress’s children was, in fact, a kind of coming-of-age ceremony that only the prince had escaped from.
It was no wonder that Maarsha was so against the idea of leaving the palace in search of this so-called fortuitous opportunity.
Maarsha, sitting in the ancient pavilion, suddenly thought of something and flashed a charming smile.
Glancing toward Ah Ri, who sat with her hands on her knees, her back as straight as an arrow, and as silently as possible, Maarsha asked, "Have you visited the Nether Lake before?"
The Nether Lake?
The entire region serving as a boundary between the nightscape forbidden land and the rest of the world was literally named after it.
Within the Nether Lake region, the secrets of Heaven & Earth were obscured to a lesser extent when compared to the nightscape forbidden land.
The obscurity of Heaven & Earth likely originated from this very Nether Lake.
"Replying to the Fourth Princess, Ah Ri has never ventured deeper than a thousand miles into the Nether Lake region." She spoke rapidly.
Her words caused Maarsha to nod her head in understanding.
Ah Ri was only a little Cosmos Forger.
How insignificant was a Cosmos Forger?
If a Realm Father could traverse hundreds of thousands of miles into the Nether Lake Region, then it was already commendable that a Cosmos Forger could venture a thousand miles deep.
Likely, this was achieved with the help of a large group.
The Nether Lake was more than a million miles into the Nether Lake region. The Fourth princess had asked this question, completely expecting this result.
Revealing a knowing grin, she asked Ah Ri, "Do you wish to visit the Nether Lake?"
Although she asked for Ah Ri’s opinion, it was actually her desire, though Ah Ri knew not.
The young maiden innocently replied, "No, no, I’m fine."
To impose on the fourth princess like this?
Even with ten more guts, Ah Ri would never!
Ah!
The Fourth princess’s expressions froze before she knit her brows, momentarily frightening Ah Ri.
Thinking something, her brows loosened, and she glanced at Protector Relief.
Seemingly understanding Maarsha’s eyes, he opened his mouth and voiced; however, his mouth was obscured by cosmic mysteries, and the little maiden could not hear anything.
Protector Relief was a Dimension Lord, and he naturally had an abstract soul.
To peer into the thoughts of a mere Cosmos Forger, especially one with only Level Two Willpower, he found it too simple a matter.
It was obvious that Ah Ri did not wish to impose on the Fourth princess’s purpose for appearing in the Nether Lake region, but she obviously had a desire to visit the Nether Lake region.
The entire region was named after this naturally forming Nether Lake, but the Nether Lake itself was filled with mysteries.
And besides this Nether Lake, there were many other such mysterious locations not only in the nightscape forbidden land, but the many other regions and forbidden lands across the Heart-Dripping World Space.
A mere Cosmos Forger could never begin fathoming or deciphering these secrets of Heaven & Earth, but the Cosmos Forger, like any other creature, was filled with wanting.
Who did not seek to understand and pursue the countless cosmic mysteries?
"Seeing as you do not wish to go," Maarsha chuckled faintly, her eyes glinting with mischief as she winked at the innocent maiden, "Then I’ll have to ask you to excuse me in advance."
"I myself am very intrigued by the Nether Lake."
Her words caused Ah Ri’s eyes to light up with understanding, finally. The girlish youth blushed with embarrassment written across her face.
The Fourth princess and Protector Relief found her reactions almost adorable.
In truth, the young maiden was indeed a delicate and cute little elf.
Framing her face and skin, which glowed with a soft radiance, was silky smooth hair that was blacker than the night sky, falling to her waist.
She wore an elegant outfit, crafted from flowing white fabric that clung to her figure in all the right places. The high slit of her skirt showcased her long, slender legs adorned with thigh-high stockings, which enhanced her allure.
Her figure was, after all, something that even made unfathomable souls lustful.
These were not the most exemplary otherworldly creatures, but they were otherworldly creatures with unfathomable souls nonetheless.
The Fourth princess found her incredibly pleasant to the eye, so it was no wonder that she offered the young maiden a chance to become her maid.
For Ah Ri, this was a life-altering course of events, basically one of the rare instances where a mortal took one step and arrived in Heaven.
The cosmic vessel was in the form of an ancient pavilion.
Outside of the ancient cloud pathway, it saw its speed reduced greatly by the cosmic providence permeating the world.
The suppressive force of the cosmic providence permeating the Heart-Dripping World Space and enveloping the ancient pavilion was profoundly more intense than that of the Jade Vine Pure World, dramatically affecting its speed and maneuverability.
Not only that, but only through the Dimension Lord’s deductions could they locate the Nether Lake.
One must remember that this was a region that obscured the secrets of Heaven & Earth, so it was not easy for them to finally appear before the Nether Lake.
