My SSS-Rank Skill and System is too OP in Modern Cultivation world-Chapter 129: The Fiery Summit of Opportunity continues
---
The Cultivators' humiliations continued to echo in the clearing as Nima's underlings began to disperse, their task complete. "Remember," Nima called out, "if you ever think of stealing again, just remember what happens to those who mess with me and my crew!" Her words, harsh and unapologetic, reverberated through the ruins.
Nima then turned, her expression a mixture of satisfaction and simmering anger. "I'm going to make sure these greedy cultivators never forget this day," she declared, glancing toward the horizon. "They'll be haunted by the memory of Big Boss Nima's wrath—and by the fact that a little sparrow and a bossy kid could beat them so badly."
Auri chirped a series of determined "Chip, chip, CHIP!" that mingled with the fading sounds of the cultivators curses and the rustling of leaves. Though still injured and unable to fly, Auri's spirit soared higher than ever. He had faced humiliation, endured cruel insults, and fought with every ounce of strength he had.
Nima crossed her arms and smirked, a fierce glint in her eyes. "Good. They'll remember not to mess with us again," she said, her tone both bossy and oddly caring. "Now, let's gather the rest of our gear and move on. We have treasures to secure and power to claim. And trust me—this is only the beginning."
With that, the pair turned away from the scene of humiliation, the sound of distant curses and weak laughter trailing behind them. Nima's voice rang out as they began to march deeper into the ruins, "Let's show them what true power looks like, and don't ever call me a fat crow again, you bunch of greedy losers!"
Auri's small chirp, "Chip, chip!" followed her words—a mix of pride and a promise that he would rise again, stronger than ever, no matter the cost.
Thus, amid the ancient stones and the echoes of mocking laughter, the legacy of Auri—the tiny, resilient treasure hunter—was forged anew. His battered wing would heal, and his defiant spirit would carry him forward into the next chapter of his journey, a journey where no one would dare mock his might again.
"We will grab every treasure we find and we will look for Kent. By the way Auri, when did Kent gifted you this spatial ring? Did you meet with Kent?" Nima asked Auri.
Chip! Chip! Auri replied "I met Kent inside a volcano when I was enjoying life. He gave this ring as a gift just like your bracelet. Kent told me to find treasure, he had some work to do. He will find us later."
Nima says in a low voice, "Okay let's have some fun, we will see who finds who first. Stupid big brother!" Nima, Auri and almost Fifty beasts started their journey to find Kent.
Few hours before the morning rose Kent's location: The sight that greeted him was both awe-inspiring and foreboding, a massive caldera filled with swirling, molten lava, and at its heart, a colossal figure shrouded in heat and fury.
There, rising from the lava like a living inferno, stood the Lava Guardian. Its body was a seething mass of molten rock and fire, with cracks that glowed like rivers of lava. Its eyes blazed with the intensity of countless eruptions, and its roar was like the death knell of a dying world.

Kent's heart pounded. "Alright, final guardian, show me what you've got." He flexed his fingers, recalling the power of his Hellfire and Frost Flame and most importantly, his new weapon.
As the Lava Guardian advanced, the air around Kent shimmered with heat. The guardian's voice boomed, "Mortal, you dare challenge the fury of the volcano?"
Kent grinned, raising his voice over the roar of the molten lava. "I dare! And I'm here not just for glory, but for treasure and opportunity." His eyes sparkled with irreverence. "Let's see if your flames can handle a bit of my Hellfire!"
The battle was fierce from the first moment. Kent darted forward, unleashing a barrage of Hellfire ball bursts that clashed with the guardian's molten form. Lava splashed, and the ground trembled as the two forces collided. Kent moved with agile precision, dodging molten projectiles and searing blasts of heat.
During a lull in the assault, Kent's mind flashed back to his earlier victories. A smile crept onto his face. "Time to bring out the big guns," he murmured.
He reached for his sword, and in a burst of focused spiritual energy, the blade ignited with brilliant ember-red flames. The Crimson Flame sword roared to life, its heat intense enough to rival the very heart of the volcano.

Kent charged forward, the sword slicing through the air in a deadly arc. The Lava Guardian staggered as the searing blade made contact, its molten body erupting in a spray of sparks and lava droplets.
"EMBER SLASH!"
Kent bellowed as he delivered a series of rapid, precise strikes, each one cutting deeper into the guardian's fiery hide.
The battle raged on with a spectacular display of elemental fury. Flames clashed with lava, and icy blasts intermingled with the scorching heat as Kent employed his dual powers, Hellfire to incinerate and Frost Flame to freeze.
At one point, the guardian roared in defiance, its massive arms lashing out with torrents of molten rock that Kent narrowly dodged. The battlefield was a maelstrom of fire, ice, and raw, untamed spiritual energy.
Finally, with one last, decisive strike, a brilliant, flaming slash that seemed to set the very air ablaze, the Lava Guardian let out an earth-shaking scream. Its form convulsed and then began to crumble, the inferno within it fading until, with a final shudder, it collapsed into a bed of cooled, blackened stone.
In the midst of the collapsing chaos, something small and delicate emerged from the guardian's core, a tiny, shimmering baby volcanic magma, its rocky type scales a soft azure that glowed against the darkness. The creature drifted slowly toward Kent, its eyes wide and curious, as if acknowledging Kent as its master or parents.
Kent, panting and exhilarated, caught the baby magma in his arms. The system chimed in his mind:
[Ding! System notifications: Abyssal Guardian Defeated!
The Volcanic Magma Guardian has entrusted you with its offspring.
New Companion Acquired!]
He cradled the tiny creature, which chirped softly and curled around his wrist. "Welcome to the team, Magva," he said, smiling broadly. "You're going to be the key to my next leap in power."
Note: Kent named the baby magma as Magva. He just combined the manga and lava to come up with the new name.
Kent's gaze then swept across the battlefield. The once-roaring lava had settled into a quiet, brooding pool. Remembering the system's directive, he raised his hand and activated his Void Domain Expansion. A swirling portal of darkness materialized, stretching over the entire volcanic arena. In a cascade of supernatural force, the cooled lava, the shattered remains of the Lava Guardian, and the very essence of this fiery domain were absorbed into his void space.
Within the void, a new notification appeared:
[Void Domain Expansion: Active. New Area Created: Volcanic mountain.
The new baby guardian Magva will go into hibernation with others. Each of the guardians has their own lands. They will be the ruler of the four parts of the void domain.]
Kent's eyes gleamed with satisfaction as he watched the swirling portal pull in every remnant of the battle. "Not bad, not bad at all," he murmured. He then carefully ensured that all his little companions were safe within their respective territories inside the Void Domain.
He whispered softly, "Rocky, Windy, Aqua, and Magva you all will rest here and grow stronger. When you awaken, you'll be guardians of my domain. For now, sleep well." The four creatures flickered and then fully settled into a peaceful slumber as the Void Domain pulsed with quiet energy, as if congratulating itself on the new acquisitions.
Kent crossed his arms, surveying the now-empty volcanic battlefield. "Last guardian down. Now if I can find the Ruin core… He He He!" he said to himself with a wry smirk, his tone a mix of exhaustion and excitement. "Time to head back and prepare for the final showdown. I need to go to the centre of the Ruin. Before I go there let's find Auri and Nima."
As he stepped away from the remnants of the battle, his mind raced with plans for the future. His journey was far from over. Kent took one last look at the smoldering remains before turning toward the distant horizon, where a new, daunting silhouette of a guardian loomed.
With the taste of victory still fresh on his tongue and the thrill of battle echoing in his heart, he set off on his next mission, determined to claim every treasure and opportunity the ancient world had to offer.
Kent says, "System, please find the location of Nima and Auri for me. Inform me if any of the two are nearby."
