Chapter 1814: Chapter 523: Pure White God’s Divine Shedding! Genesis Point! The Heart is Gone!_3
"The reason I was able to escape from the Pure White Heaven unscathed back then was because he understood the Celestial Realm too deeply and had mastered certain loopholes."
"The heart of the Pure White God!"
Gary Smith’s gaze hardened as he immediately thought of the Sheath of Termination left behind by the Ancestral Toad, infused with the Authority of Stillness.
Combined with the Blade of Residual Light held by the Ancestor’s Snake, it could grant the power to slay God.
But the premise was that it must be plunged into the heart of the Pure White God.
And there would only be one chance.
For the Meadow to fully transform, it had to shepherd a complete Great Existence.
However, slaying a Great Existence, especially its true form, was almost impossible.
Though the Mortal World could suppress the powers of the Gods, they would never foolishly descend to the Mortal World without unlocking the restrictions in the Main World.
Attempting to slay a god head-on? Even a top-tier True King, let alone a Demigod, could not accomplish it.
Those on the same path would be crushed first; those on different paths could not confront a supreme being.
Getting close alone could distort reality with God’s might; even breaching their Divine Land would be impossible.
Not to mention facing the true form of that unnameable God directly.
Though he had a daughter of the God of Abyssal Reason, it was uncertain whether she would sacrifice her life for him—after all, the ethics of deities were ever a mystery.
Even if she did, having just ascended to godhood, she would find it extremely difficult to breach another deity’s Divine Land on the same level, let alone face the numerous hostile Gods angered by Gary Smith, including the Mother of Twilight.
It wouldn’t be surprising if they caused trouble at the critical moment.
Far too risky!
Although the Pure White God was a Great Existence, with the assistance of the Ancestral Toad and various Divine Artifacts, while still in hibernation, she was the most likely target to be defeated.
As for the risk of becoming a pawn to the Ancestral Toad?
"Ridiculous. As long as I shepherd the Meadow, ascend as a True King or Great Existence, and assimilate a Taboo position, I could easily crush him."
"In the face of absolute power, schemes amount to nothing."
"The greatest possibility is that the opposite party also intends to devour the Pure White God to ascend the Taboo."
"But the ultimate outcome would obviously favor me."
"In other words..."
"Evelyn Walker truly delivered an incredible gift."
"But how does she know what I need?"
Thomas Brown’s next words quickly pulled him out from his thoughts: "You must have noticed; there is no heart of the Pure White God here."
Gary Smith nodded, as he failed to perceive any aura of Authority.
It was merely a Divine Exuvia.
Yet even so, it was suppressed by a mysterious force of destiny, preventing contamination.
Still, it caused Heavenly Breathing to continually exude desires of devourment, yearning to merge with it.
Sufficient to cause a qualitative transformation in Heavenly Breathing!
Thomas Brown spoke with a complex tone: "This, without surprise, should be the second Divine Exuvia shed by the Pure White God, placed in the Land of Radiant by the Celestial Realm, the very spot she stepped upon during the Genesis, the origin point of all light and flowing time."
"I’ve planted some informants in the Celestial Realm. Five days ago, I received news that someone had stolen a treasure from the Celestial Realm, causing several Seraph Chiefs to appear."
"Recently, I’ve been occupied with handling the Great Expedition and, coupled with their information blockade, I wasn’t aware of what had transpired and didn’t pay much attention. I only pondered who could be so bold as to alarm so many Seraph Chiefs at once. Unexpectedly... it turned out someone had stolen the Divine Exuvia of the Pure White God."
Even Thomas Brown, inheritor of a legacy from a Seraph Chief, would lack the confidence to steal such an Exuvia under the eyes of numerous True King-level beings.
After all, the Pure White God was merely in hibernation, not dead, and could awaken at any moment.
If enraged, not even the Mortal World’s ecological system in the Main World could stop her.
And yet Evelyn Walker dared to do it—and succeeded in smuggling the Divine Exuvia out as a gift for Gary Smith.
"She truly is..."
"A madman!"
Upon hearing of Evelyn Walker’s capture, Gary Smith fell silent for a moment before asking, "What punishment will she face?"
"Detention in the Land of Radiant and subjected to the Punishment of Light!" Thomas Brown paused briefly before giving the answer.
The Punishment of Light was the highest penalty in the Pure White Heaven—none surpassed it.
Ordinary heretics or even rebellious angels were unworthy of enduring such torment and would merely be crushed by Holy Light.
Across countless ages, only a scant few had ever been granted this ’privilege.’ Either ancient offspring of Evil Gods, True King-level popes, or the Seraph Chief whose legacy Thomas Brown inherited.
Though that Seraph Chief didn’t have a chance to face the penalty, as she was slain atop the Mother River.
The specific process of the Punishment of Light:
It must follow the Seven Days of Genesis by the Pure White God, with the punishment distributed over seven days. During this period, the target would be detained in the Cage of Light, constantly bathed in sanctifying Holy Light.
Until the seventh day, when the target would be infused with Origin-level Holy Light emanating from the Pure White God’s Divine Exuvia and experience the force of "motion" at its extreme, tearing their flesh apart in an instant.
Yet they would simultaneously endure the agony of infinite expansion of thought.
Though it lasts only for one second, the punished would feel near-eternal suffering, and ultimately, their blood and flesh, along with their soul, would disintegrate into the tiniest particles of light.
Even destiny could not reverse it; the Long River of Time would leave no trace but pure light.
Erased completely from the Mother River,
Never to revive again!
