My Husband is Suffering from a Terminal Illness-Chapter 110
Xie Yang checked Qiu Xing’s Weibo while preparing to go with Gao Xuanhang and the others to accept the first open media visit for the crew of ‘I See Xuanyuan’. He smiled at Qiu Xing’s like. Then he switched out of Weibo and called Qiu Xing.
The call was answered in seconds.
“Did you get off the plane?”
“Are you resting?”
The two people spoke at almost the same time. Xie Yang was amused. He waited a few seconds and seeing that Qiu Xing didn’t mean to speak first, he replied, “There is a media visit today. Things will be more relaxed.”
“I’ve got off the plane.”
Once again, the two of them spoke almost simultaneously. Gao Xuanhang called out for Xie Yang to hurry up because the media had arrived.
Xie Yang had to make a long story short. “Tell me in advance after this month’s treatment time is set and I’ll find a way to rush back. Once you get home, remember to take care of the jet lag and don’t keep looking at Weibo.”
“En.”
“Then I’ll hang up first. We’ll talk later.”
“Xie Yang.”
Xie Yang moved his phone back and asked as he walked toward Gao Xuanhang, “What is it?”
“The fish at home should miss us very much.”
The call hung up.
Xie Yang gazed at his mobile phone, laughed and handed it to Wu Shui. He was in a good mood as he went to meet with Gao Xuanhang and the others for the media interview.

The screening of ‘Crazy Musician’ meant topics related to the movie frequently dominated the hot search and the popular charts. #Shen Yan Yun Jia#, #Shen Yan Unawakened Dream#, #Xie Yang Unawakened Dream#, #Fairy music#, #Xie Yang Long Shuyou#…
Various topics soared up the hot search list in turn. The box office increased and discussion rose. Several of the movie’s stars had become hot. At least, except for Mu Zhouyi.
As the leading actress, Mu Zhouyi’s performance in the movie was actually very good and she had a lot of scenes. However, she seemed to be invisible. During the hot period of the movie, there was no news about her, no hot searches, no large-scale discussion or publicity… nothing.
Xie Yang discovered this and called Feng Qinglin. He inquired about it and got the answer that the Feng family was still suppressing Mu Zhouyi.
After chatting about Mu Zhouyi, Feng Qinglin abruptly changed the topic. “The moment Uncle announced his will, the Feng family started to secretly investigate the progress of Uncle’s treatment and his condition. They also instructed me to approach you. Pay more attention to the Xie family. The Feng family will probably buy someone in the Xie family’s company in order to find out the true internal news.”
Xie Yang thanked Feng Qinglin and hung up the phone.

On the evening of July 5th, Xie Yang took the plane back to B City in order to accompany Qiu Xing for his treatment the next day. Before boarding the plane, Qin Cheng called Xie Yang and asked if the draw arranged by Xie Yang for the fans would open at midnight.
Xie Yang’s mind was full of thoughts of Qiu Xing’s treatment and he didn’t react for a while. He asked, “What type of draw?”
Qin Cheng replied helplessly, “Your birthday draw. Did you really forget your birthday? Didn’t you rush back to B City today to celebrate your birthday with Mr Qiu?”
“…Go on and make the prizes better.”
After talking on the phone, Xie Yang switched back to WeChat. He looked at the chat history with Qiu Xing and hesitated before deciding to stay silent and put away his phone. Tomorrow was the treatment. He shouldn’t use these little things to make it harder on the mouse.
The plane was unfortunately delayed. By the time Xie Yang arrived in B City, it was already past 10 in the evening. The moment he walked out of the exit, he saw Qiu Xing standing in front.
They hadn’t seen each other for half a month and Qiu Xing had lost weight again. It was obviously a hot summer but he was wearing a long-sleeved light grey shirt with black trousers. His sharp eyebrows against the cold white lights of the airport gave people a feeling that no one could get close.
Xie Yang stopped before rushing over to Qiu Xing. Qiu Xing also saw Xie Yang and the distance on his face disappeared. He moved forward. “Why are you so late—”
Xie Yang directly hugged Qiu Xing.
Qiu Xing’s words stopped and he hugged Xie Yang back. He glanced at the passengers around them and rubbed the back of Xie Yang’s head. “So many people… are you tired?”
Xie Yang shook his head. “How long have the fish at home been waiting for me?”
“……” Qiu Xing pressed down on Xie Yang’s head. “Hold it well and don’t talk.”
As he walked out of the airport, Qiu Xing took the backpack off Xie Yang’s back with a bit of force and then held Xie Yang’s hand. Xie Yang watched Qiu Xing curiously and followed obediently. “Why did you come in and wait for me this time?”
Qiu Xing kept looking forward as he asked calmly, “Can’t I come in?”
Huh? He had also learned to ask back. He had grown a lot.
Xie Yang smiled and was about to speak when a girl dragging a suitcase came over with a notebook. The young girl had red cheeks. Her head was lowered and she didn’t dare to look at Xie Yang as she requested nervously, “Xie Yang, I am your fan. I didn’t expect to meet you here. Can I… get an autograph?”
Xie Yang and Qiu Xing both stopped. Xie Yang glanced at the suitcase she was dragging and confirmed that she really was just a fan who met him by chance. Then he smiled and nodded. “Yes, thank you for the support.”
The fan hurriedly handed over the book to Xie Yang. She watched him, hesitated for a few seconds and then glanced beside Xie Yang. Qiu Xing stared at her with deep and expressionless eyes. The little girl felt suffocated and reflexively took a step back.
Xie Yang scolded Qiu Xing. “Turn your head to the side and don’t scare people.”
Qiu Xing’s expression was tense but he turned his head obediently.
Xie Yang smiled at the young girl and handed the book back. “I signed it. Remember to be safe when travelling alone at night.”
“Thank you, thank you!” The young girl put away the notebook like it was a treasure. She glanced at Qiu Xing again and whispered to Xie Yang, “You are a good match. Bless you, you must grow old together!” Then she held the suitcase in an embarrassed manner, ready to run away.
Qiu Xing suddenly turned back. “Wait a minute.”
He had been in the top position for a long time and he habitually spoke with a slightly commanding tone. The girl was a teenager and hadn’t experienced the severity of society. She didn’t have high resistance and reflexively stopped when she heard these words. She became nervous as she watched Qiu Xing with some fear.
Qiu Xing walked in front of her and held out his hand. “Book and pen.”
It wasn’t known what the girl’s mind suddenly made up but her eyes turned red. Her fingers were tense as she handed over the book and pen. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt you. Can you not confiscate this—”
Qiu Xing took the notebook and pen, signed his name under Xie Yang’s signature and returned it to the girl. “Thank you for the blessing. You are going out alone?”
The young girl looked stunned as she gazed at her book and then back at Qiu Xing. “Yes… Yes, my parents are on a business trip. I went to my aunt’s house for summer vacation.”
Qiu Xing frowned and raised a hand to someone not far away. A person who looked like a bodyguard in casual clothes emerged from the crowd and stopped in front of Qiu Xing. “Boss.”
“Accompany this girl to the check-in. You will leave when she gets on the plane.” Then he looked at the little girl again. “Thank you for your blessing.”
He held Xie Yang’s hand and continued walking out of the airport.
Xie Yang looked back and waved at the dazed young girl. Then he turned back to Qiu Xing, smiled and stayed silent.
Qiu Xing was tense for one second, two seconds… then he sped up his pace. He brought Xie Yang to the car with the fastest speed, stuffed him in and closed the door. He held Xie Yang’s face and kissed him.
It was a slightly overbearing kiss.
“Don’t smile.” The kiss finished and Qiu Xing held Xie Yang in his arms. It wasn’t certain if his tone was fierce or gentle as he demanded in a low voice, “Don’t smile anymore.”
Xie Yang no longer smiled and just wondered, “Have you ever thought that the girl didn’t want your signature? Mr Qiu, that book isn’t a business document or a check. Your signature isn’t worth money.”
“……”
Qiu Xing immediately let go of Xie Yang and kissed him angrily again.

By the time the two of them returned to Jinghe Garden, it was already past midnight. Due to the influence of his biological clock, Xie Yang was a bit sleepy. He leaned on Qiu Xing and closed his eyes to rest his mind.
The car slowly drove through the second gate and Qiu Xing suddenly called out, “Xie Yang.”
Xie Yang still had his eyes closed. “Hmm?”
“Open your eyes.”
Xie Yang opened his eyes and found that the yard and villa in front of him were dark. The housekeeper didn’t leave the lights on?
He sat up doubtfully but the car stopped abruptly. The dark lake in front of him was lit up with many lights. The lights spread out around the lake and finally gathered in mid-air in the centre of the lake to form a small cake pattern. Under the cake pattern was the pavilion in the centre of the lake. The lights spread down to illuminate the flowers and big cake in the centre of the pavilion.
Xie Yang was stunned and turned sideways to stare at Qiu Xing. Qiu Xing opened the door to get out of the car. Then he came around, opened Xie Yang’s door and held out a hand toward Xie Yang. “Do you want to walk down?”
Xie Yang saw that Qiu Xing’s face was a bit fierce due to tension and shyness. He smiled, grabbed Qiu Xing’s hand and got out of the car. The lights almost covered the entire courtyard and there was the faint fragrance of flowers in the air.
Xie Yang was led by Qiu Xing and walked past the lighted viewing platform and along the covered bridge toward the pavilion in the middle of the lake.
The stone table in the centre of the pavilion was covered with a beautiful tablecloth. Flowers were placed in a circle on the outside of the table and there was a big cake in the middle of the flowers. The cake had three layers and had strawberries placed on it. The top layer of the cake had a small man playing the guitar.
The lights suddenly went out again. Gentle guitar music came from an unknown place. Listening to the tune, he recognized it as the song ‘Miracle’ that Xie Yang once sang on the Valentine’s Day live broadcast.
Xie Yang glanced sideways at Qiu Xing standing beside him under the moonlight. Qiu Xing didn’t look at Xie Yang. He brought out two candles from an unknown place and was seriously placing them on the cake.
After inserting the candles, he took out a lighter to light them. Then he turned to Xie Yang, a bit uncomfortable but serious. “Xie Yang, happy birthday.”
The sweet smell of the cake was strong.
“Thank you.” Xie Yang smiled and looked at the cake. “Can I make a wish?”
Qiu Xing nodded.
Xie Yang walked toward the cake, clasped his hands on his chest, closed his eyes and said, “I hope Qiu Xing can achieve what he wants.” Then he leaned over and blew out the candles.
Qiu Xing was stunned. Xie Yang turned to hug Qiu Xing and looked up. Qiu Xing’s senses returned. He stared down at Xie Yang, hugged him and closed his eyes.

Before the treatment began the next day, Xie Yang looked for an opportunity to send all the ability he had accumulated for half a month into Qiu Xing’s body. The assistance of the ability meant that Qiu Xing’s uncomfortable side effects after the treatment were much lighter. Qiu Xing fell asleep not long after returning to the ward.
Xie Yang sat by the hospital bed, chatting with Qin Cheng about the next work arrangements while waiting for Qiu Xing to wake up.
According to the current shooting schedule, Xie Yang’s personal role in ‘I See Xuanyuan’ could be completed on July 20th at the latest. Qin Cheng’s suggestion was to let Xie Yang release his new album in early August to catch the heat of ‘Crazy Musician’ in the summer.
Xie Yang had no problems with it.
Qin Cheng added: You have asked not to accept any acting jobs during the treatment of Mr Qiu. After the release of the August album, in order to ensure your exposure, I will consider accepting some variety shows and reality shows.
Qin Cheng: Variety shows and reality shows generally shoot once a week and will take two or three days. The shooting won’t be too tiring and it won’t take up much time. If you have no objections, I will start looking for suitable programs now.
Xie Yang: You can take care of the work arrangements. I just have two requirements. One is that I don’t leave B City for a long time. The second is to try and pick up music related shows.
Qin Cheng: Okay.
Qiu Xing’s phone on his bedside table suddenly vibrated.
Xie Yang hurriedly glanced at Qiu Xing on the bed and saw that he was still asleep. Then Xie Yang reached out and picked up Qiu Xing’s phone. The screen showed that it was a phone call from Tao Yang. Xie Yang took another look at Qiu Xing before getting up and walking out of the ward. Then he picked up the phone call.
“Mr Qiu.”
“It isn’t convenient for him to answer the phone right now. Senior Tao, do you have any urgent matters?”
The other end of the phone was quiet for a few seconds before Tao Yang’s voice continued. “It turned out to be my school junior. Saturday is my grandfather’s 90th birthday. My grandfather sent a birthday invitation to Mr Qiu last week but he hasn’t received Mr Qiu’s feedback. I was worried if the incident last time had offended Mr Qiu so I called to ask.”
Xie Yang found it very interesting.
Everyone knew that Rongding’s chairman Qiu Xing was a very ‘withdrawn’ wealthy person. He didn’t like to socialize and didn’t attend any wedding or funeral activities. On occasions that required social interaction, he was represented by Qiu Jingbang or Qiu Jingwei. Xie Yang didn’t think that Tao Yang wouldn’t know this.
He replied, “I’ll ask him.”
“Thank you, Junior.”
An hour later, Qiu Xing woke up and Xie Yang told him about Tao Yang’s call. Qiu Xing frowned, picked up his phone and called He Jun. “Did you reply to the Tao family in my name, telling them that I wouldn’t attend Elder Tao’s birthday banquet?”
He Jun’s voice was filled with something strange. “Boss, I replied immediately based on your order and have already sent a birthday gift for Elder Tao in your name in advance.”
Qiu Xing frowned even more as he hung up.
Xie Yang held a knife and cut an apple in half. He handed half to Qiu Xing and bit the other half. “Tao Yang has often contacted you lately?”
Qiu Xing’s mind returned. He looked at Xie Yang, saw Xie Yang’s expression and paused for a moment. Then he raised his eyebrow and his mouth curled up in a smile. He took the apple and asked, “Are you jealous?”
“I forgot to tell you that last time, I went to shoot the cover of a magazine and met Tao Yang. He took the initiative to talk to me and lamented that V Club must really like me. I can be on the cover of the magazine when I only have a few songs.”
Qiu Xing frowned again. “Did he say that?”
“He also said that the Xie family has developed very well this year.”
Qiu Xing’s expression sank.
“Then he apologized to me for the Weibo post. Qiu Xing, what do you think he means?”
Qiu Xing’s eyes became cold. He thought for a few seconds before leaning over and kissing Xie Yang’s forehead. “Come with me to the Tao family’s birthday banquet this time.”
Xie Yang raised his head. “Why are you suddenly going?”
“Go to watch from the sidelines.” Qiu Xing rubbed Xie Yang’s ears and smiled. “By the way, I will introduce Rongding’s future vice-chairman.”
