Overprotected By My Tsundere CEO-Chapter 747 - 474: Nora Scott: I Want to Mess with Rosa Sullivan [Part 2]
Such a dismissive response left Rosa Sullivan’s face alternating between green and white.
"Sorry to bother you."
After a long pause, Rosa Sullivan squeezed out a few words and left, expressionless.
People are naturally sympathetic to the weak, and in the conversation between Rosa Sullivan and Henry Chapman, Rosa’s attitude was good, and she was at a disadvantage, while Henry gave her no face at all. Observers would inevitably feel some pity for Rosa Sullivan.
This even diminished the ridicule Rosa Sullivan had endured in the past two days.
As for what they thought of Henry Chapman...
They could only comment internally, given Henry Chapman’s status, he was not someone they could easily judge.
"Chapman."
Nora Scott tapped a porcelain bowl in front of Henry Chapman with her chopsticks.
Henry frowned at her, "What are you doing?"
"Did you feed your emotional intelligence to the dogs? Rosa Sullivan took advantage of you again." Nora Scott commented disdainfully.
"..." Henry pushed the bowl closer to him, speaking slowly, "Someone who can offend the entire crew with one sentence shouldn’t be judging me."
Nora raised an eyebrow, "That’s my reputation. What about yours as an actor?"
Henry: "And you have God Z’s status."
Nora: "..."
She was at a loss for words.
This is why she hated all these personas and labels, they were so annoying.
"I’m willing to accept my loss."
After saying this, Henry took the last pancake in front of Nora.
The pancake she had saved for last—watching it go into Henry’s mouth, Nora frowned and gave Henry a surprised look, "Aren’t you afraid of getting hit?"
Henry slowly swallowed a bite of the pancake, then leisurely looked at Nora and said, "If you can hit, then do it."
Nora: "..."
Beside them, Rosie Sullivan nearly spewed her drink.
Actor Chapman truly is the bane of their Hall Master. The sharp-tongued Hall Master often suffers losses at the hands of Actor Chapman, and just as he finds a way to get even, he unwittingly suffers another setback.
The back-and-forth is quite amusing.
Rosie Sullivan glanced at Henry, recalling how he had just rebuffed Rosa Sullivan, delight filled her heart, and she decided to pay more attention to Henry’s preferences in the future and prepare meals he liked.
After all, men who aren’t deceived by Rosa Sullivan’s facade are rare.
*
Given how satisfying this honorary brother’s conduct was, Nora never brought herself to hit him. After comforting herself with a few words, she let the pancake issue go.
Meanwhile, Rosa Sullivan’s image unknowingly rose again within the crew.
Reversing and reversing.
After being struck by Andrew Hughes, she immediately marketed herself as the ’descendant of Mechanical Techniques’, posting videos and social media updates to reclaim her image.
When Adrian Sullivan embarrassed her, she quickly hitched onto the trending topic with Henry Chapman, re-establishing her ’low-key and aloof’ persona.
This girl is simply a marketing genius.
Even without a contract or a team, she can use her wit to attract so much attention without irritating the public. In a marketing team, she’d easily earn millions annually.
During lunch, Nora chatted with Pedro Langley, who visited Katherine Collins, about this. She analyzed how bringing Rosa Sullivan into Fernwood Entertainment could save and earn money.
"No."
Pedro Langley flatly refused, his face stern.
Nora tapped the table, reminding him, "Brother, she’s a genius."
Pedro raised his eyelids, "I can’t stand her. Even if paid, I wouldn’t want her."
"That’s harsh."
Nora pretended to be sentimental, but her lips curled up.
So she shifted her tone, "I want to mess with her."
Pedro’s hand trembled.
When Nora plans to deal with someone, she seldom talks about it. So if she does, it means the listener is somewhat related to it.
Pedro had an ominous feeling.
Playing with her hair, Nora winked at Pedro, lifting her hand gently to rest it on Pedro’s shoulder.
"CEO brother..."
Nora tried to speak in a sappy manner but was unconvincing, making Pedro’s scalp tingle.
Pedro turned away, not looking at her, "You little demon, stay away from me."
Nora’s voice suddenly turned cold, "She’s trying to harm me."
"Mess her up!"
Turning back, Pedro decisively supported.
Katherine Collins raised her head in confusion, looking at the two drama queens, feeling a bit inferior.
However, seeing the sweet interaction between the two, she couldn’t help but smile, curling her lips in a grin.
"Based on reliable information from Rosie, Luna Durant is on her way. It’s no surprise Rosa Sullivan guessed our relationship after bumping into us during the last Escape Room. She used Jerry Yates’ assistant to pass Luna Durant some information, and if things go according to her script, Luna will likely catch us together at an opportune moment."
Nora raised her eyebrows, leaning back against the desk behind her, crossing her legs, she continued leisurely, "With Luna Durant’s temperament, dealing with you is impossible, so she’ll target me."
"..."
Pedro said nothing.
With Nora just starting to speak, Pedro could already predict the outcome.
Luna Durant may not cause actual harm to Nora, but if things develop as Rosa Sullivan planned, Nora would indeed suffer some underhandedness, and with Luna Durant pestering around Nora, she’d be really annoyed.
So, Pedro got straight to the point and asked, "How do you want to deal with her?"
Nora smiled, asking, "She’s a favorite disciple of your mother, can’t you have your mother pass her some words, chat privately or something?"
"Using me again."
Pedro’s heart was already numb when accusing Nora.
No waves of emotion.
Feeling as if his heart was dead.
Everyone, including traitors, wanted to push him into action.
Is he a cleaner for these messes?
Nora asked, "Unwilling?"
"... It’s an honor." Pedro sighed.
"Then go ahead."
Nora waved her hand dismissively.
Pedro glanced at the food on the table, "I haven’t finished my meal."
Glancing at the message from Rosie and then the time, Nora reminded, "You’ll be too late if you continue eating."
Pedro: "..." This cold-hearted girl won’t even let him have a hot meal.
