My Goddess is Good at Pretending-Chapter 742: This World Shall be in Your Hands
With the training arc complete, Elysia hovered before the gathered forces. The revered warriors of affiliated factions, the world's heroes of various sacred lands, and her devoted disciples.
The air crackled with divine energy as they basked in Sacred Sakura Goddess' overwhelming presence, knowing this was the final moment before Sacred Sakura Goddess departed for the ultimate battle in the realm above.
The intense battles against corruption and cursed monsters had only been a mere prelude, a simulation tutorial meant to sharpen their instincts against the actual abyssal calamities yet to descend.
Due to this intense training, they understood the horror of abyssal corruption. These insidious creatures could turn even the strongest minds against their allies. Even if they managed to break free, the undispellable heavenly curse would kill them from within.
It was only four days, and all of them, without exception, already experienced death under the cruelty of the corrupted monsters.
"..." Elysia took a bit of distance, but the people before her couldn't even raise their heads. They remained in a kneeling position in response to her presence.
Apparently, her divine aura was still apparent, and none of the mortals could look at her. It was like a man staring at the bright sun, none dared to do it with their naked eyes.
Elysia heaved a subtle sigh as she addressed them. "You have experienced a fraction of the terror that awaits us. Do not waver, do not fall. For we are the guardians of balance, the protectors of all realms. Stand firm, for Heaven calls upon us!"
With these words, she raised her hand, and a brilliant wave of golden sakura light enveloped the future heroes, a final blessing of protection before her departure.

In the aftermath of the training simulation, where the heroes were destined to protect the world, they honed their skills against the corruption and cursed monsters. The Sacred Sakura Goddess graced her presence, but none could gaze upon her divine appearance because apparently, she appeared in her god mode.
Many warriors, even the demi-gods and deities, tried to lift their heads in response to the divine blessings bestowed upon them. They wished to witness the Sacred Sakura Goddess' divine appearance, but sadly, they couldn't move. They couldn't even respond to her words due to her presence's overwhelming aura.
With a wave of her hand, Elysia sent the majority of participants to the outside world, returning to the Sacred Sakura's gathering ground. However, she deliberately left her disciples, followers, and the leaders of each faction to remain as she had something to convey to them.
"Miko." Elysia materialized her plushie avatar, and Miko emerged as the Sacred Sakura Saintess.
She then grabbed Elena's hand and turned around, leaving the scene with a poof.
Miko waited for a bit, then looked at the leaders of each faction. "Raise your heads, brave souls."
The leaders of each faction finally could raise their heads, but the Sacred Sakura Saintess present before them radiated both warmth and sorrow from her smile. It was unlike her. For some unknown reason, they felt the urge to comfort and protect her, especially her usual bright, radiant smile...
As the leaders of humanity, demons, demihumans, spirits, and ancient clans gathered in the Divine Sanctuary, the Goddess revealed the truth of the upcoming calamity through Sacred Sakura Saintess.
"The true abyssal calamity shall soon descend upon this world. The cursed monsters you faced were but mere shadows of what is to come."
Miko shared the ancient knowledge of the previous era, the ones used by the past heroes to fight the abyssal monsters.
This ancient knowledge hailed from the notebook given by Yuna some time ago. So, methods were ultimately pretty effective.
Miko shared the copy and went to the brief introduction, starting from the ancient formations, divine relics, forbidden arts that could repel the corruption, and secret techniques to seal the curse. She instructed them on how to fortify their domains and unite their forces.
"You may bring as many anti-curse wands as your arms can hold. You can't store them in any spatial artifact, so please treat them with care as they can break." Miko pointed to the nearby large toolbox, containing many black anti-curse staffs.
"For real?" Abraham was the first to make his move. Having secured the ancient notebook, he dashed like a crazed demon to grab as many anti-curse staffs as his arms could hold. Thanks to his big build, he could grab dozens at once. "Free good stuff!"
"Hey, leave some for us!"
"Worry not. There are hundreds of staff there."
"Body enhancement technique!"
The other leaders immediately rushed to grab their share because they didn't want to be the unlucky ones who missed out. They grabbed as many anti-curse staff as their arms could hold.
However, Sacred Sakura's disciples, the representative elders, and the faithful followers remained in their spots. They simply gave the others those shares for granted.
"Uhm..." Skyla trembled a bit, feeling hesitant and afraid, but she couldn't contain her restless heart.
"Speak your mind. I'll answer it in kind." Miko put her hand on the table.
Skyla mustered her courage because she knew she only had this chance to make it clear. "Will our recently ascended young master also participate in the upcoming divine war in Heaven?"
"All affiliates will participate because this will decide the world's fate. If we fail to overcome this calamity, the world will be destroyed. We have no way of knowing whether we can reshape it again just like the previous era..." Miko heaved a subtle sigh.
Her answer instantly made everyone freeze because it sounded like a pessimistic declaration.
Realizing that, Miko waved her hand with an amiable expression. "But, the calamities might not descend upon the mortal world. Some might slip out of the net, so please be well prepared and check the sky conditions regularly."
"Saintess, may I inquire more about the state of the sky that you are referring to?" Zi Xuan put forward her question because she had yet to hear it from anyone before.
"The sky... it will remain as it is, indicating that the war is still under control. Once cracks appear, the calamities slip our nets, and those calamities will descend upon the mortal worlds." Miko pointed up, showing the state of the world's sky.
After everyone responded with understanding, she tapped the table for attention.
"When the sky shatters and shows the signs of collapse, evacuate yourselves to the Sacred Sakura's domain. Unite your forces with everything you possess, as we shall make a way for you to survive even in the most desperate situation."
Miko added with a gentle expression, but what she said next made everyone tense a bit because it was classified information unknown to others.
---
A few moments later, the leaders of each faction were also sent to the outside world, leaving only the faithful believers and followers.
Sacred Sakura's disciples, Sacred Sakura's forest dwellers, Temple of Law, Elysion Chruch, Blue Soul Fox Fleet, El-Fai Merchant Fleet, Mermaid Kingdom, Sanguine Occult, and Fervent Feline Army soon got summoned by the Sacred Sakura Goddess as they directly served under her banner.
"From this moment on, until the heavens are purified, this world shall be in your hands. My pantheon and I shall ascend to the Heavenly Battlefield to face the root of the upcoming calamity. Until our return... please protect this world."
Elysia emerged from the other dimension. She was still in her god mode, but her aura no longer overwhelmed them.
The faithful believers and followers almost cried in awe and reverence. They finally bore witness to their Supreme Goddess' divine grace and heavenly appearance.
Their Goddess extended her hand, marking them as her chosen guardians, granting them additional divine protection to lead their people against the coming calamity.
With a wave of her hand, she sent them back to the outside world, entrusting the world to her disciples, faithful followers, and the brave heroes who would rise in her absence.
"Master!" Jophiel's tears trailed down her cheeks as she tried to reach her master because she felt it might be the last time she would see her master again.
"Sshh, we'll ascend tomorrow. Wait for me at the sacred shrine." Miko pressed her index finger to her lips.
"Ah, uhm!" Jophiel wiped her tears, nodding in understanding. As the light engulfed her, she flashed her relieved smile, the brightest one, to her master.
She and everyone soon emerged at the Sacred Sakura's gathering ground, which was incredibly crowded as all the participants and the summoned ones were present there.
After regulating the order, Sacred Sakura subtly ushered away the other affiliated factions because those people should return to their respective domains as soon as possible.
At that time, Jophiel rushed to the Sacred Mountain's summit, followed by her fellow core disciples. Remembering what their master had said earlier, their master wouldn't just leave them right away.
"You don't have to rush..." Zi Xuan heaved a subtle sigh. She knew they loved their master a lot, but their master said the departure would take place tomorrow.
"Master, master? Where are you?" Jophiel tried to find her master everywhere, but all she could find was Sakura, the tree spirit.
She ignored the heavenly agents who were waiting near the statue, but she couldn't find her master anywhere.
"Please forgive us for keeping you waiting. We can't help it as we are still in training." Zi Xuan greeted the heavenly agents politely.
"We just arrived a few hours ago. But, what's wrong with them? They seem restless, especially that pink girl." Yuna raised her hand because it was no big deal, but she was wondering what happened.
Zi Xuan then explained a little about the intense, extreme training against the corrupted monsters. Sacred Sakura Goddess wanted to ensure they were fully prepared to fight against evil, curse, and corruption.
"I see..." Yuna nodded slightly, amazed by Elysia's kindness. Honestly speaking, the mortals had no way to help them overcome the upcoming crisis, but Elysia was obviously a game-changer.
"Oh my, Jophi-chan, why are you shedding your tears? Master won't just leave you right away..." Miko emerged out of thin air, feeling concerned in response to Jophiel's cry. She opened her arms and Jophiel flew to her right away.
"Master!~" Jophiel hugged her master tightly, burying her face in her master's embrace.
"Fufu, you're such a crybaby." Miko rubbed Jophiel's head tenderly.
"Fufu, indeed." Elysia covered her mouth, giggling softly.
"Jophi is always mama's baby..." Jophiel murmured under her breath.
