The day was dedicated to filming. Lin Feng sat on a stool nearby, bag slung over his shoulder, observing the children as they followed the director’s instructions.

The children with acting experience performed somewhat better than the novices. Xiao Bao, a picky eater, took a few bites and then stopped. "Daddy, I want to eat something else."

Lin Feng asked, "What would you like to eat?"

After lunch, filming continued. Once the children had memorized their lines, everything went much more smoothly. By around five in the afternoon, they headed to the recording studio for dubbing. By the time she was done, it was already seven o’clock, and the director invited them all for dinner. Lu Lu asked earnestly, "Will you continue acting in the future?"

Xiao Bao tilted her head and thought for a moment. "I don’t know. Dad says I should prioritize my studies. My grades aren’t that good, so I need to work harder." The topic of grades always troubled Xiao Bao; she felt she was trying hard, but the results were still disappointing. She admitted with a sigh, "I’ve been trying so hard, but... sigh..."

Compared to Xiao Bao, Lu Lu was more world-wise. "If you get any opportunities in the future, could you introduce me?"

As the two children chatted, the voice recording session finally ended, and the director took the entire group to dinner. They ended up choosing a restaurant with dishes the children could also enjoy; they couldn’t just cater to the adults. At the dinner table, the children ate, drank, and played as they should, while the adults handled the socializing over beverages and beer. After dinner, the children played together for a little while longer before they each went their separate ways, ready to go home and attend class the next day. Zhang Yuxi had made a special trip home to spend time with her daughter, and Er Bao and San Bao also stayed home that afternoon to keep Xiao Bao company.

When Lin Feng heard Xiao Bao’s request, he declared, "Alright, you’re the boss today! We’ll go wherever you want!"
