Multiversal Wanderer: Starting in Naruto-Chapter 51: The Real World
Chapter 51 - 51: The Real World
Su Xiuyu was slightly surprised by Uzumaki Mito's calm reaction. "So, you're not surprised at all that I'm from another world?"
Mito chuckled softly, her gaze steady. "Did you really think your fiancée wouldn't notice? I just never confronted you about it because I knew you had your reasons for keeping it a secret. Maybe it was because you had no choice, or maybe you didn't feel secure enough."
She took a step closer, her voice gentle yet firm. "Regardless of the reason, I trust you. I chose you, and I will believe in you unconditionally. And you didn't betray that trust, did you? You even gave me something as precious as the Chakra Fruit."
Su Xiuyu felt slightly embarrassed but also grateful for Mito's understanding. Seeing his expression, Mito smiled playfully. "Since you've finally decided to confess, I will generously forgive you."
Her considerate nature made Su Xiuyu's heart warm. "Actually, the reason I'm telling you this now is because I want to take you to my world—to meet my parents. I'm an only child, and my parents are just ordinary people."
Mito listened carefully as Su Xiuyu shared his story. Before, he never had the chance to talk about his past, but now that he had the power to protect himself, it no longer felt like an untouchable secret.
"So, Mito, are you ready? We're about to cross over to my home world."
Mito's eyes sparkled with excitement, but then she suddenly turned serious. "No, I need to change first. This is my first time meeting your parents—I have to take it seriously. Wait for me."
Su Xiuyu chuckled. As expected, women always took their time getting ready. But when Mito finally emerged, dressed immaculately, looking even more radiant than before, he couldn't help but think that the wait had been worth it.
"What are you daydreaming about?" Mito teased. "Let's go, Xiu Yu. I'm ready."
Su Xiuyu nodded and silently commanded, Return, system.
Without warning, both he and Mito found themselves back in his real-world bedroom.
---
Their sudden arrival caught the attention of Uchiha Chisato.
"Brother Xiu Yu, you're back?" Chisato voice trembled with emotion. She had been waiting for this moment for two years.
Su Xiuyu turned and smiled. "It's me, Chisato. I'm back."
Before he could say anything else, the thin, delicate Chisato rushed into his arms. But then, realizing there was another woman beside him, she quickly stepped back, her cheeks turning red.
Su Xiuyu introduced them. "Chisato, this is Uzumaki Mito, from the Uzumaki clan. She's my fiancée."
Mito smiled warmly. "Hello, Chisato. It's nice to meet you. Please take care of me in the future."
Chisato hesitated before shaking Mito's hand. Her fingers were tense, betraying her nervousness.
"Don't worry," Mito reassured her. "The Uzumaki clan is no longer an ally of the Senju clan. Now, we are allies of the Uchiha clan. In fact, our clans are practically neighbors."
Chisato relaxed slightly. The ninja world must have undergone drastic changes if the Senju's strongest allies had now sided with the Uchiha. It was obvious this was Su Xiuyu's doing.
---
Later, Su Xiuyu dug out his long-unused phone and called his parents. When they heard he had returned with his fiancée, they immediately booked plane tickets home.
Understanding how much his parents missed him, Su Xiuyu decided to take Mito and Chisato out for hot pot that evening. Chisato was already accustomed to modern society, and while Mito had been in the Pacific Rim for a long time, she adapted quickly.
As they walked through the streets, their striking appearances attracted a lot of attention—a handsome man with long hair, a beautiful woman, and a cute girl who looked like his little sister. Fortunately, no one foolishly tried to approach them with bad intentions.
Settling into a private room, they enjoyed their meal while Su Xiuyu updated Chisato on the events of the past two years.
"So, let me get this straight," Chisato summarized, her expression serious. "The Senju and Uchiha clans set aside their past grudges and built a village together, living in peace. Senju Hashirama, Madara-sama, and you—Xiuyu-sama—became legends and unified the ninja forces of the Land of Fire?"
Su Xiuyu chuckled. "Well, when you put it that way, it does sound strange. But yes, that's basically what happened. Hashirama is now the leader of Konoha and the first Hokage. The Five Kage Summit will be held soon—probably in the next few days."
Zhili frowned. "Did Brother Madara really just accept Hashirama as Hokage? From what I know of him, he wouldn't willingly be second to anyone."
Su Xiuyu nodded. "He fought for it, but Senju Tobirama played politics. I advised Madara not to waste time over Konoha."
Chisato's eyes brightened with understanding. "That makes sense. Knowing my brother, if there's an endless sky beyond, why would he focus on something small like Konoha? Thank you for helping him, Xiu Yu. I know he wouldn't have backed down without a good reason."
"No need for thanks," Su Xiuyu said casually. "Madara and I are true friends. We don't keep score."
Chisato suddenly hesitated before saying, "In the past two years... my injuries healed about a year ago. But something strange happened—my chakra keeps increasing. It doesn't make sense. The Uchiha shouldn't have this much chakra at my age."
Her words caught both Su Xiuyu and Mito's attention. Mito had already sensed the enormous chakra within Chisato. While it wasn't on the level of the Uzumaki clan, it far surpassed the average Uchiha.
For someone as young as Chisato, who had spent much of her time recovering, this was beyond unusual.
-------
"Xiu Yu, have you noticed that Chisato has a faint scent on her, somewhat similar to yours?"
As an observer, Uzumaki Mito had keenly picked up on a subtle detail that others had overlooked.
Su Xiuyu was momentarily puzzled by Mito's words. What did she mean by Chisato having a scent similar to his?
"Actually, I examined Chisato's body last night. While she appears frail, she's surprisingly healthy."
"Healthy?" Su Xiuyu questioned.
"Yes, but in a way that isn't typical for an Uchiha. Her chakra reserves are immense, comparable to those of the Senju or Uzumaki clans. That shouldn't be possible under normal circumstances. So, tell me, Xiu Yu—what exactly did you do to Chisato?"
Uzumaki Mito eyed him suspiciously, wondering if he had given Chisato something akin to a Chakra Fruit. Otherwise, her transformation wouldn't make sense.
Su Xiuyu was taken aback. "What do you mean, what did I do? I didn't do anything! Chisato is still a kid. What could I possibly have done?"
Mito sighed and tried again. "Think back carefully. Did you give her something—your blood, perhaps?"
His eyes widened in realization. "That's right! Chisato was badly injured and losing a lot of blood. There was no compatible donor available, and we weren't sure if a ninja could accept an ordinary person's blood without a severe rejection reaction. In desperation, I told the doctor to use my blood for the transfusion. Could that be the reason? Did my blood somehow trigger an evolution in Chisato Uchiha lineage?"
Considering his Otsutsuki heritage, it was entirely possible that his blood had amplified Chisato's latent abilities. Still, she was incredibly lucky—there had been no rejection reaction, and her bloodline had seamlessly integrated with the change. Orochimaru would be furious if he knew about this.
With their doubts now cleared, Su Xiuyu and Mito relaxed. Chisato, on the other hand, turned bright red and lowered her head in embarrassment.
Only now did she learn that the blood transfusion had come directly from Su Xiuyu.
"In that case, the changes in Chisato should be beneficial," Mito concluded. "We can bring her back with us to the ninja world when we return."
Chisato nodded shyly. "Yes."
---
The next day, Su Xiuyu's parents returned home safely. Having not seen their son for a long time, they were ecstatic. Their happiness only grew when they met Uzumaki Mito.
"Son, I have to say, you're quite capable," his mother teased. "I never realized you were so good at charming young ladies. This one is gorgeous! And she even dyed her hair red—it's so festive! I approve. It won't be long before you make me a grandmother, huh?" She grinned, clearly pleased with herself.
Mothers always side with their sons. Seeing her child bring home such a beautiful woman filled her with pride.
"Uncle, Aunt, it's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Uzumaki Mito, and I've brought a small gift for you."
With a polite smile embodying the grace of a perfect lady, Mito handed over the carefully prepared presents.
Su Xiuyu was caught off guard by Mito's fluent Chinese. Though there was still a slight accent, she had improved immensely. When she glanced at him with a proud "Did I do well?" look, he couldn't help but chuckle.
His mother accepted the gifts generously. "Oh, you're so polite! Where are you from, dear?"
"Aunt, my name is Uzumaki Mito, but you can just call me Mito. I'm from Japan. I met Xiu Yu by chance, and we got engaged early. I hope my sudden arrival isn't an inconvenience. If there's a chance, I'd love to invite you both to visit Japan."
"Oh, a foreigner! But you're so sensible, unlike our Xiu Yu. You must take care of him, dear. We elders won't interfere in your matters, but if he ever bullies you, just let us know. We'll straighten him out!" she declared protectively.
Su Xiuyu rolled his eyes. "She's not just a foreigner—she's an alien."
But he didn't mind. As long as his parents and Mito got along, that was enough.
---
That evening, Mito insisted on cooking. She prepared a feast, and although the flavors differed from traditional home-cooked meals, they were delicious in their own right.
"Mito, your cooking is amazing! Our Su Xiuyu will be well-fed from now on," his parents praised.
Mito beamed at the compliments.
"Yes, Xiu Yu is very lucky," she replied playfully.

"Mom, Dad, I know you like Mito. I'll treat her well," Su Xiuyu assured them.
Then, shifting to a more serious topic, he asked, "By the way, how's the situation here? It was pretty chaotic when I left. What's it like now?"
He hadn't reported to the Special Intelligence Bureau in two days. After being gone for two years, he wasn't sure how things stood. Chisato had mentioned that agents frequently checked in on his parents, which suggested they were still concerned about him.
His mother sighed. "The situation has been getting worse. More supernatural occurrences, more instability... But the Special Intelligence Bureau has been looking out for us. And with Chisato's abilities, our area has stayed relatively safe."
She affectionately patted Chisato's head, assuming that her "superpowers" had kept them secure. Though some ordinary people had awakened minor abilities in recent years, none were particularly strong.
"If it weren't for Uncle, Aunt, and Brother Xiu Yu taking me in, I might have starved on the streets. I'm really grateful," Chisato murmured, looking down shyly.
Su Xiuyu didn't bother correcting her. Regardless of how she phrased it, Chisato had indeed been protecting his family in his absence.
"Mom, Dad, Mito and I may have to leave again soon, and we're taking Chisato with us. But don't worry—I'll leave a Wood Clone here to protect you. It'll look and act exactly like me, so you won't have to worry about anything."
Given the worsening situation, leaving his parents unguarded wasn't an option.
Forming the hand signs, he declared, "Wood Style—Wood Clone Jutsu!"
A perfect duplicate of Su Xiuyu emerged. Thanks to his immense chakra reserves, the clone wouldn't dissipate for years unless it was destroyed in battle. It was the best safeguard he could provide.
