Chapter 606: Chapter 606: His Own Warmth

In the VIP lounge at the airport, Faye Xavier brought over two cups of coffee, "Mr. Bishop, here’s yours, no sugar."

"Thank you."

Faye sat down sideways on the massage chair next to Julian Bishop, adjusted the massage mode, leaned back comfortably, and asked Julian Bishop, "Mr. Bishop, have you decided yet? I have photos on my phone, want to take a look?"

Julian took a sip of coffee and then placed the cup on the coffee table in front of him, politely declining with a smile, "Thanks, I think I don’t need to for now."

"Why are you just like Master Shane used to be? You guys just haven’t interacted with girls enough. Master Shane was just like you back then, not interested in anyone, look at him now, always hovering around his wife. Although love is about fate, sometimes you have to create your own fate and opportunities. If you shut everything out, even if there’s a good girl, you’ll miss her."

Julian chuckled lightly and said, "If I missed her, it means she wasn’t meant for me."

Faye made a "tsk" sound, frustrated by Julian’s view, "Mr. Bishop, you’re not even trying or getting to know anyone, you can’t say you’ve missed out. Not everyone can casually get married like Master Shane and actually make it work."

"Mr. Bishop, you’re not exactly young anymore, why not just date someone? If it doesn’t work out, you can break up. It’s good to go through some trial and error to find out what kind of woman really suits you. Otherwise, you might end up like Master Shane, randomly marrying someone, but not everyone has his luck."

"Mr. Bishop, don’t think I’m being naggy. I’m just worried you might miss out on your happiness because of the company, so I’m trying to help you however I can. Don’t worry, the girls I introduce to you won’t be into nonsense." 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

Julian smiled mildly and couldn’t help but tease, "Do you even know any sensible girls?"

"Mr. Bishop, that’s underestimating me. Even though I don’t usually mess with good girls, I’ve got a broad network. Just tell me your requirements, and I guarantee to find someone suitable for you."

Julian lowered his gaze and smiled. Faye thought Julian was just joking, so he quickly flipped through the photo album on his phone, filled with all sorts of girls, "Mr. Bishop, take a look. Cute, sexy, mature, intellectual, I can find them all for you."

Julian glanced at Faye’s phone but didn’t seriously look at the numerous photos of girls on it. He just thought for a moment and said, "I guess I like someone with a lively and cheerful personality."

Faye was momentarily stunned, murmuring while flipping through the photos, "I thought Mr. Bishop would like the quiet and graceful type. There are plenty of lively and cheerful girls. Do you have any requirements for their appearance, Mr. Bishop?"

"Not too tall, not too short, not too fat, not too thin."

"With those requirements, I could just go to the street and find you a bunch. Mr. Bishop, you’re a handsome and talented bachelor, shouldn’t we aim a bit higher?"

Julian thought for a moment and added, "Someone who loves to laugh, with a beautiful smile."

Faye immediately said, "Why does that make me think of Master Shane’s wife? It seems like she fits all your criteria."

Julian’s smile faltered slightly, but Faye didn’t notice anything, just showed him a photo of a sweet-smiling girl from his phone, saying, "How about this one? A model, just graduated from university, I think."

The announcement about boarding could be heard over the speaker above the lounge. Julian grabbed his black briefcase and said, "Let’s leave it to fate, it’s time to board."

Faye followed with his unfinished coffee, saying, "If you don’t like this one, there are others. I’ll show you more on the plane. Your requirements aren’t difficult to meet, I have plenty of photos on my phone, you’ll surely find one you’re satisfied with."

"Let’s leave it for now, I’m not in the mood to consider these things, let’s just go with the flow."

In fact, he never really knew what kind of girl he liked until he met Audrey Sutton, and she seemed to fit his ideal type.

However, when they met, she was delivering a love-packed lunch to the man she loved in the pouring rain, which seemed to predestine that nothing would result from their encounter.

Julian himself couldn’t figure out why he remained so captivated by Audrey Sutton. He thought perhaps it was her cheerful and lively personality, and her magic-like smile that always lifted his spirits, that had enchanted him.

He carefully considered that this feeling might not be so-called love but just that he had been in a dark environment for too long, so encountering such a warm-hearted girl made him irresistibly want to get closer.

He might just want a bit of warmth that belonged to him.

The flight did not distinguish between first class and economy during boarding, so when the announcement for boarding rang out in the lounge, everyone for the flight lined up at the gate. Julian and Faye joined the end of the line, and Faye showed another girl’s photo to Julian, "Mr. Bishop, how about this one?"

Julian smiled lightly and said, "Thanks, I’ll reach out to you for introductions when I need it."

Faye swiped through several more photos, hoping to find one Julian would like, but Julian turned his eyes to the front as it was almost their turn to board.

Faye could only put away his phone dejectedly and pulled out his boarding pass from his pocket.

He looked around the queue before turning his gaze forward and continued moving with the line.

Suddenly, he noticed a familiar silhouette that had just completed the boarding check and was heading down the boarding passage.

He stared at the figure, quickly walked past the check-in gate, and pursued, but the girl had already boarded and turned towards the economy cabin.

Faye didn’t head straight to first class, instead, he stood at the door to take a look. After seeing the girl find her seat and turn to reveal her face, a triumphant smile spread across Faye’s face.

Indeed, "Worn out iron shoes with no place to find, only to obtain with little effort," he had run into her here.

"Move or what? You’re blocking the way, what’s wrong with you?"

The passenger behind grumbled, and a flight attendant rushed over to ask, "Sir, what’s your seat number? I can help you find it."

Faye smiled and said, "Thank you," then turned around towards the first class cabin.

After all, as she was already on the plane, there was no rush at that moment.

Once the plane was flying smoothly, Faye spoke to Julian, then found an excuse to have a flight attendant take him to the economy cabin, where Jasmine Lucas was seated.

Jasmine sat by the window wearing a panda eye mask, with white earphones in her ears, oblivious to the outside world.

Faye smiled and told the man beside Jasmine about swapping seats. A free upgrade from economy to first class was naturally more than welcome, so he agreed readily.

After politely thanking the flight attendant, Faye quietly sat next to Jasmine and turned his head to observe her, entirely unaware of what had occurred.

Smiling, he reached out and pulled out Jasmine’s earphone cord. At the same time, as Jasmine irritably removed her eye mask to check, she heard a voice that seemed straight out of a nightmare, "Hey beauty, where are you headed?"
