Chapter 600: Chapter 600: The White Mist Alliance

Phoebe King’s playful nature was evident as she couldn’t tear herself away from the children’s castle.

She pulled Audrey Sutton to stand by the outer railing, gazing and saying, "It looks fun, and there are so many types too."

Audrey Sutton joked, "Want to buy a ticket to go in and play?"

Phoebe King glared at her, "Play my foot, come on, let’s go upstairs. They say sour boys and spicy girls; I’ve found that not liking sour but liking spicy things means I must be having a girl. Let’s go buy some pretty little dresses."

Audrey Sutton hadn’t bought many clothes for the baby yet since there were already plenty at home—enough for a change every day without repetition. But seeing these cute little clothes made her want to buy more.

Having no experience with the first child, she felt like everything needed to be prepared. After being sold to by the store staff, she bought a bit of this and that, ending up spending tens of thousands.

There were so many things bought that they couldn’t be carried with two hands, but thankfully the store offered delivery service. You just needed to pay and leave an address.

Phoebe King looked over the shopping list, calculating in her mind, "What else do I need?" 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

Audrey Sutton felt that Phoebe King was going a bit overboard and said, "There’s still a few months to go. You can add whatever’s missing later. Plus, aren’t you moving soon? Buying too much now will just make moving more troublesome. It’d be better to buy more after you’ve moved."

Phoebe King nodded thoughtfully, "That’s a good point, why didn’t I think of that?"

Audrey Sutton asked, "How’s the renovation going?"

Phoebe King: "The previous owner did some basic decorating, and I quite like the style. So now, it’s just some minor modifications and adding some home appliances and furniture. It should be done by next week. Then I can come to see you every day. You have no idea how bored I am over there. My husband has to attend classes and doesn’t have time for me, and he doesn’t even let me go out by myself."

Audrey Sutton: "I’m the same, but I just don’t want to go out myself—it’s been too cold lately."

Just then, they passed by a yarn shop, and Phoebe King had a sudden idea, "Why don’t we buy some yarn and knit sweaters? It’ll pass the time and serve as New Year’s gifts for them."

Audrey Sutton was also fretting over New Year’s gifts. Hearing Phoebe King’s suggestion, she thought it was great, so the two of them headed straight into the nearby yarn shop.

The variety of yarn in the shop was overwhelming, and the two of them ended up buying a lot after some indecision.

The store also had professional craftsmen for teaching, as well as beginner books.

People have a natural curiosity for new things, so it was their first time getting into knitting, and they quickly got absorbed in the store.

They stayed in that one shop for nearly three hours until Shane called close to five o’clock, so Audrey and Phoebe King quickly checked out and left.

As they walked, they discussed what to eat for dinner, planning to find a restaurant nearby. Passing by a children’s clothing store, Audrey spotted a short woman wearing a hoodie dress.

Even though this attire was completely different from Jasmine Lucas’s usual style in Audrey’s memory, Audrey recognized her immediately.

Jasmine Lucas was holding a small sports-style down jacket and asked the shop owner, "Do you have more of this model? Can I order a hundred pieces?"

The owner, hearing the bulk order, enthusiastically responded, "Yes, yes, yes, it’s the new model, available in all sizes."

Jasmine walked into the shop to discuss the order, and Audrey didn’t greet her since she wasn’t familiar with Jasmine and didn’t have a good impression of her yet.

But it was strange, why did she need so many children’s clothes?

Phoebe King, looking at her phone for a long time, finally decided on hotpot, suitable for cold weather.

The restaurant was near the mother and baby mall. After reserving a table on their phone, they went directly there and sent the address to Shane and Stephen Sutton.

It seemed like fate, because while Audrey and Phoebe King were ordering hotpot sides, Audrey noticed Jasmine Lucas with two men and a woman laughing and walking into the restaurant.

"Tonight’s dinner is on me, eat to your heart’s content," Jasmine said.

Audrey was surprised to hear this from Jasmine, as the tone lacked the sweetness she had when she was around Faye Xavier.

However, Audrey had heard Faye call her "Jasmine," and she herself referred to herself as Jasmine, so it should be the same person.

"Audrey, take another look at what you want to eat, keep an eye on my bag; I’m going to the bathroom."

Audrey, hearing Phoebe King’s voice, withdrew her gaze and took Phoebe King’s phone to look at the menu on the screen.

While looking down at the phone, she heard the group chatting as they walked over, and soon after, Audrey saw them sitting at an empty table diagonally in front of her.

When she looked up, Jasmine unintentionally glanced her way, and both of them were slightly startled when their eyes met.

Audrey noticed a flicker of panic on Jasmine’s face before she lowered her head to take out her phone, scan the table’s menu code, and hand her phone to her friends. Then, Jasmine walked over to Audrey’s side.

Audrey watched Jasmine warily, while Jasmine also seemed a bit cautious, glancing around before sitting across from Audrey with a smile, "What a coincidence! Are you alone?"

"My husband is coming soon."

Jasmine relaxed a bit, seeing that Faye wasn’t around, and raised her eyebrows at Audrey, "I told you we’d meet again. Last time, it wasn’t convenient to talk."

"Hmm?" Audrey was puzzled.

Jasmine took out a black card from her bag, handing it to Audrey, "This is my business card. If you ever need anything, remember to contact me. I’m very professional."

Audrey was even more perplexed, furrowing her brow as she took the business card and looked at it. The black card only had a nickname "Jasmine," followed by various social media contacts, and at the bottom was a line of small text: The White Mist Alliance.

Knowing Audrey couldn’t understand, Jasmine leaned in with a smile, "Ma’am, you might not have heard of us; we’re a mysterious organization, known internally through personal introductions, or like now, I’m recruiting you as a potential client."

Audrey pointed at herself, "Me? Potential? What kind of potential?"

Jasmine chuckled, explaining, "For instance... the various misfortunes in marriage... "

Seeing Audrey’s displeasure showing in her furrowed brow, Jasmine quickly added with a smile, "Of course, I’m not cursing you. I know your relationship with Third Young Master Warner is very good, but these things are just in case. No one knows what might happen in the future. Keep this card as an insurance policy that costs you nothing. If later on, Third Young Master cheats, has an affair, forgets his old love for a new one, or abandons his wife and kids, you can contact me. The White Mist Alliance will help you deal with such scoundrels and fight for your best interests in a divorce!"
