Chapter 260: Chapter 260: Master

"Knock, knock—"

Sitting on the edge of the bed, smoking, Shane glanced at the door being knocked on.

He couldn’t help but smile; this little girl was more patient than he had imagined.

He deliberately didn’t get up to open the door immediately. Instead, he brought the cigarette at his fingertips to his lips again, taking a slow drag, then stubbed out the nearly burnt cigarette in the ashtray by the bed, before finally getting up to open the door.

"What..."

The word "what" got stuck in his throat by the sight of Audrey Sutton’s get-up in front of him.

So, these little clothes were bought to cheer him up?

She was clearly embarrassed too, her ears turning red, holding down the impossibly short hem of her skirt with her hands, her gaze a bit shifty.

But the fact that she dressed like this showed she had made up her mind.

So Shane suppressed the smile threatening to surface on his face, curious about the kind of "service" she’d provide.

"M... Master, welcome home~"

Audrey didn’t even know how she found the face to say such words, glancing up at Shane’s expression after speaking. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Her heart was anxious and uneasy, afraid he wouldn’t buy it, or worse, think she was out of her mind.

Sure enough, his expression seemed a bit off, and what he said left Audrey feeling at a loss: "Where did you learn this from?"

There was a faint trace of hope in her eyes earlier, thinking he might like it.

But now she was like a child who had done something wrong, looking down with a bit of grievance, fingers fidgeting with the fabric of her skirt.

At that moment, she just wanted to find a hole to crawl into.

Feeling like she was crazy to have dressed up like this,

Shane’s voice came coldly: "Do you know what you’re doing?"

His tone made Audrey feel like he was implying: Do you, a girl, have any shame?

"Come in."

Audrey glanced at him, then sheepishly followed him inside.

He gently kicked Pea, who was trying to slip inside, away with his foot and closed the door behind him.

Audrey stood awkwardly by the door, clenching her skirt, feeling uncomfortable all over.

She thought Shane was about to start lecturing her, and her face was written with despair.

Little did she know, Shane suddenly grabbed her wrist, pressing her hand below his navel at a certain spot: "It’s getting restless, aren’t you responsible for it?"

Audrey’s eyes widened in shock, and she jerked her hand back as if electrified, her face turning as red as a tomato.

After having been criticized by her for being crude and rough, Shane became more patient than before.

Besides, with her dressed like this, he wasn’t in a hurry to take it off; he wanted to admire it a bit longer.

Shane turned around and walked over to sit at the edge of the bed leisurely.

He got into character, presenting the stance of a young master, beckoning the still-dumbfounded Audrey: "Come here, Audrey."

The sound of "Audrey" made her blush even more, with an expression that was all dazed and flustered.

He wore a robe, with the collar slightly open, exuding a hint of roguishness while still retaining a gentlemanly air.

Only then did Audrey belatedly realize that her method had worked.

But her embarrassment outweighed the delight of having successfully seduced him; Shane beckoned her a second time, his tone firmer than before: "Come here."

Audrey pursed her lips and finally took a step towards him.

Shane reached out, wrapped his arm around her waist, and pulled her onto his lap.

"Not calling me Master anymore?"

Audrey gave him a glance, her eyes carrying a touch of grievance, as if accusing him of bullying her.

But he was indeed teasing her.

"Tell me properly, where did you learn these things?"

Audrey stammered out a reply: "... From manga."

"Admitting you read adult comics?"

"Rubbish, it’s those maid cafés and stuff; it’s in a lot of comics!"

Shane glared at her fiercely, displeased: "Is that how you speak to your Master?"

Audrey: "..."

This guy is better at acting than her.

Shane lowered his head and untied the little white apron from her waist: "Now you’ve even learned to seduce, huh?"

Audrey: "Well, that just means you’re a lecher if you can be seduced."

Shane frowned: "Talking back to your Master?"

Saying this, he patted her butt: "Still not admitting your mistake?"

Audrey’s face turned crimson, her mouth twitching slightly, and she could only go along with him to finish the act and end his sarcastic teasing quickly: "Sorry, Master, I know I was wrong."

She initially worried that dressing like this would make Shane think she was perverse, but now she realized this usually well-dressed man was way more bizarre than her.

"Still daring to talk back?"

"I don’t dare anymore."

She said she didn’t dare, but in her heart, she rolled her eyes.

She now knew what it meant to give an inch and take a mile.

Shane lifted her from his lap and placed her on the bed, looking down at her from the side: "Now, what should you say to your Master?"

Audrey looked at him with puzzled eyes.

Shane: "Did those adult comics not teach you?"

Audrey: "?"

"Useless." Shane muttered, then looked at Audrey: "Need me to teach you?"

Audrey: "What?"

Shane showed no expression: "This is when you should say, ’Master, please use me,’ got it?"

Audrey’s expression twitched, this man was more of a player than she’d imagined.

Still, she was the one who started the fire, and it had to be doused.

So Audrey put aside all embarrassment and stiffened up to tell him: "... Master, please use me."

The shyness on her face reflected the instincts of her inner self at this moment, fitting her outfit and lines perfectly.

Shane finally smiled, a satisfied smile.

And Audrey had become the little lamb in the mouth of a hungry wolf, with no escape in sight.

Perhaps his previous roughness was something he took note of, for he was indeed much gentler this time.

Yet what needed to hurt still hurt, though he wasn’t only caring for his own comfort now; he’d observe her reactions, and whenever she bit her lip or frowned, he’d pause to gently kiss her brow, soothing her softly before continuing.

This time, it was her willingly walking into the trap, so his demands were without reservation.

Since it was early spring, the room wasn’t warm enough yet to require air conditioning.

But after the intense activity, both of them were covered in sweat.

Audrey was so exhausted she didn’t even want to move a finger, naturally too lazy to shower.

But he was still full of energy, picking her up and taking her to the bathroom.

In the spacious bathtub, she leaned against him, soaking in the warm water, her body’s weariness seemingly relenting.

Audrey played with the bubbles on the water’s surface with her fingers as she spoke to him: "You still haven’t told me why you were angry."

Shane toyed with her wet hair: "When was I ever angry?"

"You still say you weren’t, being so cold to me, going out to play at night without telling me, brushing off my calls, speaking to me in such a sarcastic manner, making me stay awake worrying."
