"Alpha Anastasia, did you hunt these wild predators yourself?". Aunt Penelope came to where I was sitting and asked me.

"Yes, I did. Elektra and I hunted the wild predators ourselves". I boldly answered her.

Everyone gasped in disbelief. The Alphas, especially Mike and Dylan, even Gamma Clark, my warriors, my subjects, the Elders and the beta werewolves and the companions of the Alphas, gasped in disbelief.

Speaking of companions, why didn’t I see Lucinda? Why didn’t she come? I bet that stupid Alpha Dylan is overprotective of her.

After all the retriever werewolves had returned with my hunted wild predators, I stood up and approached the Alphas with my hands behind my back.

I said to them, "Alphas, you are not blind. I am sure you can already see and tell that I, Alpha Anastasia, is the winner of the hunting competition".

They remained speechless after I said that to them. But that did not stop me from talking further. I declared while staring at everyone present, "I proposed the hunting competition, and now, I have won fair and square".

Turning to the ten Alphas, my face darkened as I said to them, "Alphas, please face your penalty for losing to me by granting ten deals to me!".

"This is impossible, Alpha Anastasia! I don’t believe you killed all these wild predators on your own! Someone must have helped you! That must be the case! Because how can you hunt down these massive wild predators on your own?! It took me a great effort to hunt down three of them!". Alpha Mike protested, stubbornly refusing to believe that I killed the wild predators myself.

I shrugged my shoulders and asked everyone, "If you know you saw me entering the forest with someone else other than the ten Alphas, please indicate by raising your hand".

No single person raised a hand.

"But- but".

"Enough, Alpha Mike. Alphas, I have a special deal that I want all of you to grant me! Remember, I won the hunting competition fair and square. Failure to fulfill your own part of the deal, you are publicly showing the shadows’ pack and your own packs that you are cowards and untrustworthy. Assuming I had lost the hunting competition, I am sure that you Alphas would not let me off the hook. You would make me grant each of you your deals! But, it’s the other way around. Grant me my deals!".

The Alphas were frowning their faces.

I saw Alpha Dylan. His face darkened. I frowned and thought, ’I have two deadly drugs left. Should I take him to a corner and use them on him?’.

’Yes! Do that, Clara! That would make me smile brightly for the first time ever in my life!’. Elektra announced.

I thought about doing that, but I am a doctor, not a killer.

Don’t judge me, I killed those wild beasts because they deserved to die.

But thinking about it, Alpha Dylan deserves to die too!

"What deal do you want me to grant you, Alpha Anastasia?". Alpha Victor walked towards me as he asked me.

I need to get this over with. I want to return to my mansion. I am hungry and also need to rest.

"I want you to swear the ten-year blood oath with me, Alpha Victor. Not only you, I also want the remaining nine Alphas to swear the ten-year blood oath with me. For ten years straight, the ten Alphas and their packs would not be allowed to attack the shadows’ pack. And I, Alpha Anastasia, am not allowed to attack any of the ten Alphas’ packs. Whoever dares to break the oath before ten years is over, will individually face heaven’s tribulations". I declared, before I went ahead to find a sharp object and cut my finger with it, causing blood to gush out.

"Do the same, Alphas. Let’s combine our blood and officially complete the ten-year blood oath". I added.

For your understanding, the first ever eleven Alphas simply created the ten-year blood oath under the full moon because that was the day they established the blood oath.

"So, she proposed the hunting competition because of the ten-year blood oath?".

"I take back all the negative things I have said about Alpha Anastasia!".

"Me too!".

"Me three! She is not brainless, she is brilliant and thoughtful!".

"Until now, I never knew that she cared so much about our pack!".

"I initially came here to watch her lose the hunting competition and disgrace herself and our pack. But who knew she would work so hard to win the competition for our sake?! This is the most selfless thing I have ever seen!". Our Alpha Anastasia is awesome! She, indeed, has changed!".

"Those present at the social event said our Alpha Anastasia announced that she had changed. I am witnessing that for myself today!".

My subjects didn’t stop praising me, almost making me blush. My face was obviously still emotionless though.

Alpha Dylan, Alpha Mike, Alpha Liam, Alpha Jerry, Alpha Kennedy, Alpha Billy, Alpha Maximus, Alpha Alexander, Alpha Victor and Alpha Tyler, knew they couldn’t back away, so they angrily went to find a sharp object each and cut their fingers with them.

We came together, and one after the other, I touched their bloody fingers using my own bloody finger.

After doing that, I said, "Alphas of the Golden warrior’s pack, the night pack, the scarlet pack, the blue moon pack, the glowing terror pack, the crescent pack, the blood moon pack, the dark moon pack, the victorious pack and the red sky pack, will now swear the ten-year blood oath".

"I, Alpha ..... Swear not to attack the shadows’ pack in the next ten years. Failure to do that, my pack and I will face heaven’s tribulations individually".

With a grumpy look on each Alphas’ faces, they swore the blood oath.

"And I, Alpha Anastasia, swear not to attack the ten packs in the next ten years. Failure to do that, my pack and I will face heaven’s tribulations individually".

Including the individual was necessary. In case any members of the pack act without its alpha’s command, they, themselves, will face the heavens’ tribulations.

I finally smiled.

I knew that if the ten-year blood oath was over, they would seek revenge against me and the shadows’ pack.

Fortunately, by then, the shadows’ pack would be ready for them.

Also, I can make the ten packs fight each other. That’s not against the blood oath that we swore. What we swore was that they would not attack my pack and I, in return, would not attack theirs.

"The social event is officially over. The guests can leave my pack. If you wish to stay for a few more days or weeks, you must pass through the shadows’ pack verification and must obtain the shadows’ pack permit token". I said to them.

I didn’t want anyone to talk to me, so I shifted into my wolf form. I am returning to the mansion.

I need to get myself treated.

That’s right. Since the social event is over, I can move into the Alpha’s mansion this week.
