It was evening.

I returned to the mansion and entered the Luna’s mansion. I was in my human form. I had shifted back when I arrived outside the gates.

I was lucky enough to not see any maidservants when I climbed up the stairs and made my way to my room. The guards had stressed me out by bowing before me and refusing to get up without my orders.

I was not in the mood for the omega maidservants to do the same.

I am sure that all these things are going to end tomorrow after I issue a decree.

I opened the door to my room and entered it. Without wasting any minute, I walked towards my drawer and opened it. I took out my cell phone from it and closed it. I tossed the cell phone on my bed.

Going ahead to open the second drawer, I took out my signature saving pills from it.

The pills were inside a white container, so I took out five pills from the container and put them in my palm, before returning the container to the drawer and closing it.

I went to sit on the chair that was facing the desk.

I placed the five pills on the desk, and using the neat stone I had picked up on my way to the mansion, I used it to grind only four of the pills into powder.

I gathered the crushed pills together and put them in my palms. Later on, I placed the crushed pills on the ground and dusted my hands afterward.

Next, I took the last pill I had not grinded. I put it on the floor too, before I shifted into my wolf form.

My mouth opened, and as my tongue touched the pill I hadn’t grinded, it stuck to my tongue and I retrieved my tongue back into my mouth and swallowed the pill.

"So bitter and inconvenient!". I complained after hissing.

I could feel the place where I was injured in my back, making it easy for my next action. I laid my injured back on top of the four pills powder and stayed that way.

"Ow. It hurts". I whimpered.

There must be an exposed injury in my back that has not yet been covered up.

No wonder I felt pain earlier.

I stayed in this position despite the pain I was feeling. But sincerely, the pain means the pills are working.

It’s insane how whenever I treated my patients, they always complained about how painful my treating methods were.

I can see that for myself. It’s undoubtedly painful.

I remained on the floor for a long time.

I stood up when I noticed that my injuries had absorbed the pills’ powder. "I should do this again tomorrow". I said to myself as I walked around.

Walking around would also help me with the treatment and allow the medication to enter my body more and take effect.

’Anastasia, I mean, Clara, I didn’t ask any questions then, but what is with that creepy egg that found its way to us when we were in the forest?’. Elektra asked me.

"Oh. I had almost forgotten about that". I said and changed to my human form.

I dipped my hand into my pocket. First, I removed the two deadly drugs’ explosive balls that were in my other pocket and put them in the drawer, together with the other pills.

I dipped my hand into my pocket again and took out the egg from it.

The instant I saw the egg, I was startled and threw it on the floor in panic, but as usual, it returned right into my pocket.

’Why is the egg glowing? And doesn’t it look bigger than before?! What’s going on, Clara?! Try smashing it on the ground!’.

’Can’t you see I have tried smashing it before?! It didn’t work’. I replied to her by mind - linking her.

’Well? Try it again, Clara. It might work this time around. Must I teach you everything or what to do?’. She asked me.

Let’s get this straight. The real Anastasia was twenty-four years old. Technically speaking, Elektra should be twenty-four years old too. How can she talk to me like that, as if she was older than I was?

I should leave her off the hook because she helped me out today.

I removed the egg from my pocket and shut my eyes as I smashed it on the floor with all my might. Something funny happened after I had done that. I opened my eyes, expecting to see the egg smashed on the floor, but I saw absolutely nothing. Only for me to look at my hand and see that the egg never left my hand.

"You have got to be kidding me!". I groaned in agony as I screamed.

I was frustrated.

I heard sounds of footsteps approaching my room, making me look at the door.

"My Alpha, we heard you scream. Is everything alright?".

"Yes, are you alright, Alpha Anastasia?".

They asked me.

I gently slapped my forehead in embarrassment. "I am alright. You can all leave". I said to them and they left.

’You are weak, Clara. Give me control. I bet I could easily smash the egg using my strength’. Elektra suggested.

"Fine!". I said and gave her control.

Upon giving Elektra control, she attempted to smash the egg almost immediately.

She bent down and hit her palm on the floor. Sadly, the egg disappeared and stuck in the other palm. She also hit the other palm on the floor. Unfortunately, again, the egg disappeared and stuck in the other palm.

"Ugh!". She was already frustrated when she hadn’t even begun. I saw her slam both her palms on the floor this time, but the egg disappeared and was on the bed.

"Ah!". Elektra shouted as she ran towards the bed and fell on top of the egg.

"I got it, Clara! It didn’t dare disappear this time around". She exclaimed and chuckled deeply. Her laughter sounded scary.

She rose from the bed and gasped in disbelief after seeing that although the egg didn’t disappear, it didn’t break, neither did it crack.

Not even a scratch was in the eggshell.

Without warning, I regained control of our body. I grabbed the egg and examined it. "How can this be?".

’Clara, give me back control! I can definitely destroy that damn egg! How can it be stronger than I am?!’. Elektra ranted.

I ignored her.

After examining the glowing egg, I muttered, "I guess this is my life now. Since I became Anastasia, the weirdest and craziest things have been happening to me".

I left the egg on my bed and exited my room. I needed to eat first before I could freshen up and sleep.
