Mr Alpha, I Am Not Your Typical Lady!-Chapter 30) The competition part 2/ A tiny egg.

Me, Beta Damien, Gamma Clark, the twelve Elders, the ten Alphas and their own Beta werewolves and other companions, made our way to the shadows’ pack borders in our wolf forms.

I gave Elektra control during that moment, because I knew that if I ran by myself with the other werewolves, I would certainly humiliate and disgrace myself.

It was after we left the border and arrived outside the dangerous forest that I once again took control of our body.

"Alphas, the rules of the competition are easy. Whoever catches the most wild predators before sunset will be declared the winner. Also, the position of the winner would not only be determined by the number of wild predators hunted, but it would also be determined by the rarest and strongest predators hunted down. We can set out now, while the others should stay behind and guard outside the forest in case of any mishaps! When sunset arrives, the retriever werewolves will come into the forest and help the Alphas carry their respective hunted predators".

As I finished declaring, the Alphas dashed into the forest before me. They were still in their wolf forms. And I was in my wolf form too.

’They must really want to win and make me grant them the deals they want. Who knows what grand deals they want’.

’Unfortunately for them, they won’t ever smell the winning position!’. Elektra announced with a creepy voice, and as I imagined the look on her face, I lightly shook my head.

I looked behind and stared at the werewolves who had returned to their human forms.

Staring at the faces of Aunt Penelope, the remaining Elders werewolves and Gamma Clark, including the warriors and some of my werewolf citizens who came along to witness the competition, I saw the pale and horrible looks on their faces, as if they had already predicted that I was going to lose the competition.

’I am counting on you, Alpha. Please don’t make me regret you being our Alpha’. Beta Damien mind - linked me. Even though he listened to me yesterday and assisted me in bringing those ingredients I needed. Yet, he was doubtful of me.

I turned around and ran into the forest without any fear in my heart. If I didn’t have the deadly drug, I would have been reluctant to enter the forest.

I continued to run in the forest. I stopped when I saw that I had gone deep enough.

There were many tall trees and dry trees, and fog covered most of the area I was in.

’This fog signifies I have entered the heart of the forest’. I thought and kept sharp eyes. I was looking around as if there was no tomorrow.

I can’t be careless. One wrong move and I might end up being a beast’s dinner.

Thousands of years ago, after the wolves merged into one with the villagers, another strange phenomenon happened, but in the forests.

In the history books I read, it said that the forest became restless and different and countless wild animals the world had never seen before appeared in the forests.

Because the animals looked nothing like normal animals, we gave them the name, ’Wild predators and beasts’.

Some of the animals have human figures, but their bodies are covered with fur and they have sharp claws.

There are also flying animals that are very huge and have terrifying faces. Luckily, there wasn’t anything like a dragon. If dragons were to exist too, I would relocate to the moon.

And, I have never seen the flying beasts face to face before. The beasts that ran rampage in the human city then were land beasts.

"Let’s get this over with". I said under my breath.

I went to find a place I would hide, so that when the time came for me to explode the deadly drug, it wouldn’t affect me.

Surprisingly, I found a cave that was exactly my size. "This would do". I said, and was sure to memorize the cave’s location before I left.

I stood in the middle of the forest where there weren’t many trees. After taking a deep breath, I growled and howled as loudly as I could.

Growl!!! Squeak!!! Hiss!!!

The beasts reacted and made their various sounds. I wouldn’t lie, their sounds were deep and terrifying. frёewebηovel.cѳm

My eyes widened. My heart, which was calm before, began to pound non-stop.

I heard them rushing in my direction. "This is more terrifying than I had imagined!". I exclaimed purposely, so that they would be certain about my location.

Meanwhile, before they arrived, I was looking around over and over again. I had to be vigilant. If not, they could come out of any direction and hurt me.

I instantly shifted into my human form as I saw them approaching me in herds.

I immediately dipped my hand into my pocket and grabbed the five deadly drug explosives. When the ugly looking beasts were only a few feet away from me, I threw three of the deadly drug explosive balls on the ground as hard as I could and they exploded.

Alright. I intentionally threw away three of the deadly drugs and held onto the remaining two for safety purposes.

The second the deadly drugs exploded, I held my breath and transformed into my wolf form. I rushed to the cave I had found and hid there, not daring to come out.

I took cover in the cave for a while.

After the agonizing growling, squeaking and hissing ended, I decided to go out of the cave.

"Massacre". I muttered and grinned as I saw piles of dead beasts. There were up to thirty of them, if I am not mistaken.

"Suffering to create the deadly drug was worth it". I admitted. And as I returned to my human form, I felt something in my trousers’ pocket.

I removed what was in the pocket and was stunned to see a blue and purple stone. No, upon looking at it closely, it looked like a tiny egg.

"How did it get into my pocket?". I wondered and found it so strange.
