Mommy Wolf: Raise A Cub, Claimed By His Beast Daddy-Chapter 250 - 249: Going Home (I)
Meanwhile, the faeries were trying to hold themselves behind a rock. Crush Tutu, General Gugu, and the rest of the soldiers wanted to go inside the cave because the storm was brewing and their small bodies might get blown away by the tempest.
But there was also an earthquake happening right now, so there was also a chance that they might die after getting crushed by falling boulders inside the cave.
Thus, they decided to stay put, hiding behind a rock and waiting until the earth stopped raging.
Crush Tutu was being hugged by the general because she was not a soldier, and thus would get easily blown away by the wind.
"General, what is happening right now?!" Crush Tutu asked.
"This is the rage of the earth because its darling has given up her divinity to save someone!" General Gugu replied. "I’ve seen this phenomenon before, when our Darling Sisi’s mother gave up her divinity to save her husband! Don’t worry, it will stop eventually! We just have to stay put!"
After getting the explanation from the general, Tutu began to calm down and thought about what her grandfather said to her before allowing her to accompany Darling Sisi outside once again.
’Our darling is similar to her mother, and I’ve been informed by Grandma Tree that Darling Sisi would do something similar just like what her mother did back then. So, your task is to make sure she wouldn’t put herself in too much danger, because she has no more access to use the water from Origin Spring.’
At first, she thought it was strange that her grandpa would allow her to leave so easily after everything she did to run away from Faerie Land.
But then she realized that Grandpa was giving her a very important task—to protect her darling.
Why would it be her and not the elder instead? Maybe because Tutu was young, and all darlings had the instinct to protect the young ones, just like how she didn’t mind protecting the young Dawn Star and giving up her divinity for him despite all the danger.
Grandpa wished that their darling would listen to Tutu at least while she became Sisi’s little assistant.
The faeries were expecting the storm and earthquake to stop eventually, but there was another miracle instead.
A sudden blinding light came out of the hut. It was too bright that the night around the forest became daylight in an instant, and all the faeries were forced to close their eyes and hide because the light actually made their eyes burn.
"Ahh! What is happening, General?!" one of the soldiers asked as he closed his eyes.
"It’s the Dawn Star! This is a self-defense mechanism he has! Just stay put until he calms down!" General Gugu instructed. Since he was an old faerie, he had seen the Dawn Star of the previous era and how he could easily defeat everyone by standing still, since his body could emit a light that burned everyone’s skin.
This blinding light persisted for at least an hour. The storm and earthquake stopped after a while, and finally, the blinding light slowly dissipated until there was nothing but complete silence in the air.
The faeries looked at each other warily. After all, their darling was inside the hut all this time to perform a miracle, and they wanted her to be safe.
"General, we should check on our darling. I’m afraid the Dawn Star’s aura might’ve hurt her!" one soldier said.
"Yes, General. Let me check first, then I’ll give a sign if everything is safe."
"No, that should be me who checks on her, since I am the strongest here," General Gugu said before letting go of Tutu.
He flew up and then headed to the hut, hoping to see his darling still alive, without any of her skin burned off. After all, she could not use the water from Origin Spring anymore.
However, what he saw in the hut was even more shocking.
There were three people huddled together in one big hug, and they all emitted the same warm aura from their bodies.
Usually, the Dusk Star, Dawn Star, and even the darling had different auras that clashed with each other. But right now, they all looked so... harmonious.
As if they were meant to be together as a family.
General Gugu didn’t want to ruin this moment, knowing that his darling treasured these cursed beings. He returned to the faeries who were still hiding behind a rock and said, "All clear, everyone. You can come out now."
The faeries slowly came out, but since General Gugu didn’t tell them to go and check on their darling, they decided to stay still.
"Our darling is still spending time with her family. It’s rude to barge in," General Gugu said.
"But our darling is not harmed, right, General?" Crush Tutu asked.
"She’s unharmed, of course," General Gugu turned his head towards the hut once again, recalling the same warm aura between all three of them. "They are family after all, and family always protect each other."

Sisi finally separated herself once Jojo complained that he was suffocated.
She giggled seeing Jojo pouting after being squeezed for too long and patted his head. "Sorry, Jojo. I wasn’t paying attention just now. Are you okay?"
"Wuu... tell me first if you want to hug Daddy again, so I can leave!" Jojo protested.
"Tsk, what are you getting upset about? Your Daddy has finally found his fated mate!" Kael said as he ruffled Jojo’s hair.
Jojo covered his hair to avoid getting ruffled even more. He was still upset after getting squeezed for at least an hour.
But deep in his heart, the boy was very happy to know that Sisi was his father’s fated mate, because if she wasn’t... then Jojo wouldn’t be kind to whoever his father’s fated mate was!
"Then, does that mean Daddy and Sisi will be together forever?" Jojo asked. "Daddy told me that a fated mate is someone you want to spend your life together for the rest of your life!"
