"Tsk." Moving the screen containing the emergency task to the side for the meantime, Valyr could not help but click his tongue as he looked at how much health the red wyvern had left.
"The task says to bring its health down to 40% within 10 minutes," murmured the young man to himself, the gears in his mind turning as he did a bit of quick maths.
"In other words, we have to deal about 200,000 points of damage to the wyvern before 10 minutes are up." Coming to that realization, Valyr faintly shook his head.
"Yeah… there's no way we'd be able to pull that off."
Although the entire group was able to consistently deal damage to the wyvern, that did not change the fact that the entire group lacked the firepower necessary to dish out a decent amount of damage to it.
Plus, taking into consideration the fact that all of them were far below the level necessary to deal any lasting damage to the wyvern, it was already a miracle that their group was able to push the wyvern's health to such an extent.
Then again, such a thing was only possible thanks to all of them sacrificing both effort and time in doing so, spending over 40 minutes straight continuously hacking down at the wyvern while also being mindful of its occasional retaliation.
In fact, if Valyr hadn't cast a few spells here and there to speed up the killing process by a tad bit, the young man had a feeling that their group would have only gotten to this point after spending over an hour whittling down the wyvern's health.
In his mind, if the task only needed them to push the wyvern's health to half its HP within 10 minutes or less, such a thing would be more than doable with their current DPS.
Of course, if their DPS was slightly lacking, he didn't mind casting a few more spells here and there to make it a reality. Even activating some spells with incantations were things he thought about doing if that were their task.
Unfortunately, with the task needing them to dish out double their current DPS within the same time frame, the young man had no confidence in the five guilds being able to pull it off.

"…I guess this is it, then."
Just as Valyr was gradually feeling more and more pessimistic at their chances of completing the task, Malutar walked up right beside him while he was thinking, giving the former a bitter smile.
"I'd say we bit off more than we could chew this time around," said the man, faintly shaking his head as half the group decided to frantically charge towards the wyvern.
Watching the members of the five various guilds attack the immobile wyvern without abandon, the bitter smile on Malutar's face slightly deepened. "But then again, it's not like we really lost anything from not being able to defeat the wyvern."
"Sure, the fact that our levels would go down because of this is gonna suck, but it's not like it's that hard to regain those lost levels."
"Plus, with the amount of experience we've accumulated from doing this raid three times in a row, I've got a strong feeling we'll be able to clear it the moment we're fully prepared," said the man, shrugging his shoulders as he continued to look at Valyr with a bitter smile.
Though, not long after, the smile on his face began to take on a sour note, his eyebrows creasing as various thoughts flooded his mind. "But still…"
"I really don't want to have all of this effort we put in go to waste just like that."
Wondering if it was even possible to complete the task given to them at their current levels, Malutar soon felt a hand on his shoulder, prompting him to look at the only person standing beside him.
"Do you… perhaps have an idea, Ataraxia?" asked the man, noticing that Valyr was giving him a look of reassurance.
"Honestly… I have no clue if this might work," replied the young man after some time, spending a bit of time to gather his thoughts. "After all, we've pretty much exhausted everything we've got to push the wyvern to this extent."
"But let me ask you one question, Malutar."
"Do you or any of your members still have some powerful skills up their sleeves?"
"…What do you plan on doing with those skills, Ataraxia?" Staring at Valyr for a bit, the man eventually responded to the former's question with a question of his own.
Nevertheless, that question was more than enough for him to understand what was going on, his expression brightening as he gave Malutar a reassuring smile in response.
"We're giving ourselves an opportunity to clear this raid once and for all."
Whoosh!
Sending a message to the three other guild leaders through their group chat, the five soon convened as they ordered all of their guild members to attack the wyvern without abandon.
Giving these same members a few tips here and there to deal greater damage to the wyvern while putting in the same amount of effort, the young man soon explained his plan to Malutar and the others, which undoubtedly caused the four of them to look at Valyr as if he were a madman.
"Is that… even possible?" asked OneTrueJim, looking at the young man with slight suspicion.
"In theory… it will work," said Valyr in response, his words offering no assurance to the four whatsoever.
Yet, for some reason, those same words caused them to feel more at ease.
"…Alright." After looking at the three other guild leaders for a bit more, Malutar eventually gave Valyr a nod of affirmation. "We'll go with your idea, Ataraxia."
"So… what do we need to do?"
