MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith-Chapter 1373: A Bit of Payback
Whoosh!
Appearing on the other side of the rift once more, the five guilds looked around their surroundings with a calm, the novelty of the scenery having already worn off the second time they entered the world raid.
"I suppose everyone is on the same page, right?" Organizing themselves into the five separate groups, the five guild leaders soon met up at the center, going over the plan they came up with one another one last time.
"Azure Coalition will be tackling their path last," said Valyr, briefly glancing at Malutar and the other three. "You'll have to clear your respective paths first before we can make our move."
"We'll work together with Lighthouse to be the first two to clear our paths," replied Malutar with a nod, only to then look at ILikeLamps before nodding once more.
"After that, we'll send a signal through the chat for Krakatatakark to start moving."
"We'll progress through our path until the midpoint," said OneTrueJim, nodding in understanding. "Once we get to the midpoint, we'll give a heads-up on the chat for Soaring Skies to start on their path as well."
"Then, once we get to our midpoint, only then can the two of us reach the end of our respective paths, reducing the difficulty of Azure Coalition's path as much as possible." Although SoaringSkies1 still looked at Valyr with a hint of disdain, the man decided to set it aside for the meantime in order to clear the world raid.
"Don't forget." Seeing that everyone was on the same page, Malutar gave the four a slight grin. "The first move from the red wyvern is always a tail sweep. Got it?"
Receiving a series of nods from the others in response, the man went ahead and signaled the official start of their final attempt in clearing the world raid.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Positioning themselves in front of their respective paths in advance, the three guilds watched the members of Lighthouse and Big Richard clear the first few tasks on their paths in a matter of minutes.
Although they weren't able to see what each guild was doing after that, the sounds that erupted from their path still allowed the other guilds to figure out that the two guilds were doing all they could to clear their paths as fast as possible.
Because of that, it only took 20 minutes or so for both ILikeLamps and Malutar to send a message to the group chat, prompting OneTrueJim to finally make their move.
Swoosh!
Having taken the second rightmost path in this world raid, it was no surprise that the pace at which their guild progressed through their path was considerably slower than the pace the two previous guilds could pull off.
Nevertheless, even with the path's difficulty being significantly higher than the difficulty on the middle path, Krakatatakark remained consistent in their progress, sending a heads-up to Soaring Skies around half an hour later.
With Soaring Skies making their own move after that, only Valyr and the members of Azure Coalition remained near the start of their own path, waiting for the message that would allow to start moving.
"Soaring Skies has finally reached the midpoint," said the young man, his gaze going over the updates the two guilds were giving them in the group chat.
Seeing that it won't be long until they would have to make a move as well, Valyr had everyone in his group double check not only their things one last time, but also their positioning during the fight.
"Everyone knows where they need to be during the first fight, right?"

As this question left his mouth, everyone in his group nodded back at him, their expressions showing how eager and determined they were to show that the last two attempts weren't done for naught.
Ding!
Around an hour and a half after the five guilds began their final attempt on the world raid, Valyr received a couple of messages from the guild leaders' group chat.
"Krakatatakark, clear."
"Soaring Skies, clear."
Seeing that the two other guilds had finally cleared their own respective paths, the young man took in a deep breath to compose himself before having everyone proceed on the path in front of them.
At the same time, he sent a reply to the messages the others had sent just now.
"Don't worry, guys."
"It won't take long for us to get there."
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
With the experience they've accrued regarding tasks thanks to the first couple of attempts, Valyr's group cleared most of the tasks the world raid threw at them in a matter of minutes.
Fully making use of the reconnaissance team by having them inform the others of the tasks in advance, everyone in the group now perceived the path they were taking a bit differently than before, only now realizing that the fall of the red wyvern wasn't really all they made it out to be.
If anything, once they excluded the tasks on the path that involved fighting against the red wyvern and other beings, then the path that was based on the red wyvern's fall was pretty much just the red wyvern ranting and complaining to the heavens nonstop.
"…Get ready." Seeing that the path before them began to expand all of a sudden, Valyr already knew what would happen next, prompting him to give everyone a heads-up on the situation beforehand.
Whoosh!
Positioned near the edge of the clearing, the entire group watched as the red wyvern appeared at the center of the clearing once more, its gaze towards them filled with utter disdain.
"When will you envoys ever learn?" asked the red wyvern as it slightly shook its head. "Does the heaven gain some enjoyment from you guys dying?"
Whilst it continued off onto its usual tirade of insults to both their group and the heavens' existence, Valyr briefly glanced at the red wyvern, only to look at the people beside him with slight excitement.
Seeing that the others seemed to notice the same thing as him, the young man went ahead and used [Greater Analysis] to further confirm his suspicions.
Ding!
"…Good news, everyone." Looking through the stats of the red wyvern they would be facing, Valyr began to grin as he brought up the guild leaders' chat to the side.
"The red wyvern… has been fully weakened."
