Marvel: The Villain-Chapter 244 Rage
After a fierce battle, the military still lost.
They lost 17 tanks, 8 helicopters, and suffered over 300 casualties.
Seeing the tide turn against them, Ross had no choice but to order a retreat.
But Blonsky had no intention of letting his old superior off the hook. While leaping across rooftops in pursuit, he grabbed rocks with both hands and hurled them at the helicopter.
"Hold on tight!" The pilot roared, gripping the stick for an emergency evasion.
As massive boulders grazed the cabin, everyone inside was terrified.
With Blonsky's strength and accuracy, he could easily bring the aircraft down.
However, he wasn't in a rush to end the fight; he was thoroughly enjoying this cat-and-mouse game.
Suddenly, a pale blue sphere of light descended from the sky, flying towards him.
Blonsky, having never seen this before, assumed it was a secret military weapon.
He calculated the distance, leaped into mid-air, and delivered a powerful volley kick, sending the sphere crashing into the ground.
BOOM!
A massive explosion blasted a crater into the earth.
Blonsky glanced at it briefly, ready to resume his pursuit of the helicopter.
Just then, a low roar echoed from the pit.
Blonsky looked surprised, stopping his advance and dropping from the roof to the ground.
Hulk slowly crawled out of the hole, looking at the monster in front of him—one even uglier than himself—and let out a furious roar.
Blonsky was stunned at first, then ecstatic.
Not long ago, when he was just an ordinary human, he had been taken out by Hulk in a single move.
He was a vengeful man. Hulk's power hadn't scared him; instead, it had ignited a massive fighting spirit, driving him to inject the Super Soldier Serum twice.
Yet, even after his second enhancement, he had still been weak. If he had faced Hulk then, the outcome wouldn't have been much better than the first time.
But now, things were different. Through Gamma's experiment, he had also become a monster. This time, he was confident.
"Hulk! Finally!" Blonsky sprinted over.
Rarely encountering an opponent of similar size, Hulk wasn't about to back down either. With a roar, he charged head-on.
The two monsters ran faster and faster. At a distance of less than fifty meters, they leaped simultaneously, fists clenched, punching toward each other.
THUD!
With a muffled sound, Hulk was sent flying.
"It seems in terms of raw strength, Blonsky has the upper hand," Jason remarked.
High in the sky, Jason and his group floated inside an energy sphere, observing the battlefield.
Hulk stumbled to his feet, shaking his head vigorously as if he hadn't fully woken up.
"That's a bit strange. Hulk's strength should be more than this," John frowned.
"Could it be due to the suppressant serum?" David suggested a theory.
"Possible. Let's keep watching."
Blonsky strode over, hooking his finger at Hulk contemptuously.
Hulk bared his teeth and charged again.
The two monsters traded blows right there on the street. Every punch and kick was delivered with full force, creating dull, thunderous thuds.
Jason and the others watched with smiles, enjoying it as if it were a boxing match.
Ross, who had been focused on fleeing, noticed the anomaly and ordered the helicopter to circle back and observe.
After slugging it out for a few minutes, a winner emerged.
Hulk's combat experience was inferior to Blonsky's. Combined with the effects of the suppressant, he couldn't exert his full power and was eventually kicked away in a miserable defeat.
Blonsky pressed his advantage. The battle spanned several city blocks, with Hulk gradually reduced to a passive punching bag, unable to fight back.
Jason had intended to use Hulk to eliminate Blonsky, but judging by the current situation, that was completely impossible.
David frowned. "Boss, your plan doesn't seem to be working." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
Jason replied calmly, "Expected. However, Hulk is a growth-type fighter, and the fuel for that growth is rage."
He beckoned with his hand, and a floating energy sphere drifted before him.
Betty!
She was the best raw material to make Hulk grow.
"You... you don't keep your word!!"
Betty was furious, pounding her fists against the energy sphere.
"I released Banner as agreed; he just had bad luck running into Blonsky." Jason's smile turned sinister. "And you... you are my property. How I dispose of you is entirely under my control."
With that, Jason waved his hand, and the energy sphere flew toward the two combatants.
Blonsky had Hulk pinned to the ground with one hand, his other fist smashing angrily into Hulk's face.
While beating Hulk to a pulp, he taunted, "Is this all you've got? Too weak!"
Hulk struggled furiously but couldn't break free.
At that moment, the energy sphere sped in and slammed into Blonsky's back.
BOOM!
The sphere exploded, causing sharp pain across Blonsky's back.
He turned his head in anger, only to see Betty sitting on the ground, looking up at him with a dazed expression.
Blonsky paused, then grinned savagely. "Ross's daughter? Banner's girlfriend?"
Kicking the restless Hulk away, he grabbed Betty with one hand.
"BETTY!"
Ross was burning with anxiety, screaming from the edge of the helicopter cabin.
Blonsky glanced at him, then cast his gaze toward the charging Hulk.
"The world is cruel. Only the strong survive!"
He lifted Betty high and roared, "And you two weaklings can only watch helplessly as your loved one dies in my hands."
"BLONSKY!"
"NO!"
SPLAT!
His wrist exerted sudden, massive force. Blonsky crushed Betty.
Blood sprayed out, and her body snapped in two.
Betty's head and neck fell to the ground, her mesmerizing eyes still open in death.
The scene went terrifyingly quiet. Hulk stopped in his tracks, his chest heaving violently.
"ROAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!"
A howl laced with absolute fury and hatred resounded through Manhattan.
Hulk was truly enraged!
"Come on!"
Blonsky shook the gore off his hand and charged forward excitedly.
Two massive arms collided once again.
BANG!!!
With a noise like a thunderclap, Blonsky was sent flying backward faster than he had approached, crashing through a storefront.
"The fuel worked!" Jason smiled with satisfaction.
Hulk crouched and launched himself, his body acting like a cannonball as he smashed into the shop.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Muffled sounds of violence echoed from within the store.
Moments later, Blonsky was flung out, landing on the street.
His massive body was dripping with blood, and he looked dazed—a stark contrast to his arrogant self just moments ago.
Hulk walked out of the shop, muscles bulging to the extreme, his green eyes filled with killing intent.
"Impossible! Impossible! How did you become so strong?!"
Blonsky refused to accept it; he scrambled up and charged.
SMACK!
Hulk extended his left arm, catching the furious punch.
Blonsky was completely dumbfounded.
Hulk twisted Blonsky's arm a full rotation, then raised his right fist and brought it down hard.
CRACK!
Blonsky's arm bent at a gruesome angle—snapped clean in two!
"AHHH!!!!"
A wretched scream pierced the sky.
Hulk's rage wasn't over. He gripped Blonsky and slammed him against the ground like a ragdoll, over and over again.
The pavement was quickly smashed into a series of craters, and Blonsky's head poured blood.
After turning the road into a cratered mess, Hulk still didn't feel satisfied.
He grabbed Blonsky, pulled him close, and rained punches onto his face, neck, and chest.
One hit!
Two hits!
Three hits!
...
It was impossible to count how many punches he threw.
He didn't stop until he was panting for breath, until Blonsky's entire upper torso was smashed into unrecognizable pulp.
"ROAR!!!"
Throwing aside the corpse, Hulk threw his head back and howled at the sky, a sound filled with rage and sorrow.
After venting his fury, he looked painfully at Betty one last time, then ran toward the outskirts without looking back.
In a few bounds, he disappeared from sight.
