Married To The Last Ice Dragon-Chapter 56: Bath with me
Ashton stormed out of the throne room, furious. Stefan had truly infuriated him. He was so nosy.
He arrived at the hallway leading to his room’s stairs and ran into Mirabella, who was walking in the opposite direction with a bruised cheek.
She appeared frail and had dark circles under her eyes, giving her the appearance of being insane and extremely ill.
’Drama,’ Ashton thought to himself, laughing.
She tried to walk past him, but he grabbed her arm and pinned her against the wall, smiling.
"Mira, where do you think you are going?" With a smile, he questioned.
"Allow me to leave! What are you up to, demon?" Mirabella struggled, growling through her teeth.
"Your mother handled you well, Mira." He mocked her bruised cheek.
"It will heal, and you should have handled me yourself because you never miss an opportunity to attack me." Mirabella growled, her dark circles around her eyes darkening.
"True, but not the kind of handling done by your mother, Mira," Ashton teased, releasing her neck. "A completely different type of handling."
Mirabella pushed him away. "Stay away from me! You think you can say all that to me and still talk to me?" Mirabella snarled at him.
"I do not regret what I said." Ashton scoffed. "Everything I said is correct." He then turned away.
"You don’t! You are so arrogant! Thinking about your Majesty and not about others!" She screamed in rage.
"Now you are talking nonsense." Ashton was certain Mirabella was bothered by something else. She had been acting strangely since Cyrus married Sage, but her behaviour had gotten worse every day since then. After all, her unhealthy obsession with Cyrus was capable of driving anyone insane.
"Am I?! Am I really babbling?" Mirabella screamed and pointed at him. "You are the one who is talking nonsense!" She charged at him and grabbed his shirt.
"Calm down." Pushing her hands away from his shirt, Ashton whispered.
Mirabella growled and shoved him away, ripping his shirt off. "Are you telling me to relax?" She asked, burst into hysterical laughter, and Ashton looked at her, slightly surprised.
"Yes, and I believe you should take a long rest." He added before turning away. "You will feel much better after that, listen to me."
"You are worshipping him..." Mirabella calmly growled at him.
"Worship? Hm?" Ashton asked, mockingly, and turned to face her. "I serve him." He yelled at her.
"You are incredible! I will make you regret what you said." Mirabella screamed at him and charged at him once more.
Ashton dodged her attack, grabbed her, and slapped the side of her neck. He immediately knocked her out and carried her into his arms.
"What is the matter with you?" Ashton inquired, rolling his eyes. "I mean, I know, but what exactly is wrong with you?"
...
Cyrus entered the room with a tray of food to find Sage pacing around the room. She was still blindfolded, and she seemed to be thinking a lot.
"Your meal has arrived." Cyrus announced calmly.
"I am not hungry." Sage kept pacing.
"You will get dizzy." He spoke calmly.
"Since when do you care, Cyrus Dragos?" Sage inquired, scoffing.
"Since now!" Sage stopped pacing when he raised his voice.
Even though she was blindfolded, he could see rage in those emerald eyes of hers. He laughed out loud. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
"Eat. Your. Dinner."
"No! I want to see! Remove this blindfold!" Sage yelled angrily.
"If you keep screaming and whining, you won’t be able to see for the rest of the trip." He said this as he walked towards her, then grabbed her arm and led her to the bed, where she sat.
She jerked her arm away as he smiled and placed the tray of food on his lap.
"Do you want me to feed you?" He inquired coolly.
"No... Yes." Sage said slowly.
She didn’t expect him to ask, he was so generous and romantic.
He took his time and fed her spoons of rice pudding until the plate was empty, then cut out the cheesecake and pancakes. When the side of her lips became stained, he scooped it up with his fingers and licked it.
Sage was pampered and stuffed. She finished all the food in the tray and at the end, she burped loudly.
She gasped, closed her mouth with her hand, and apologised nervously. "Sorry.. sorry,"
Cyrus said, shaking his head. "It is fine," He stood up and placed the tray on the nearest table. "I am glad you are satisfied, my dear parrot,"
"My best regards to the chef, superb! Delicious!" Sage laughed. "But I thought you said we were alone?" She wondered who had prepared such a delicious loving dinner for her. "And I want more cheesecake." She laughed and pouted.
"Regards taken, we are alone, and you will have more for breakfast tomorrow." Sage was taken aback when Cyrus unexpectedly responded.
"W..what!" She exclaimed tremblingly.
"Are you surprised?" Cyrus chuckled and moved to the seat next to her.
"Why shouldn’t I?" She yelled and took a deep breath.
Cyrus laughed and grabbed her chin in response to her outburst. "You do not have to; I will be the one cooking for you the entire trip." He whispered something soothing.
Sage was getting goosebumps. The ice dragon was always surprising her.
"D..don’t worry, I..can co..cook t..too." She stuttered because she was nervous.
Cyrus suppressed his laughter. ’Do I really have this kind of effect on her?’ He asked, caressing her lower lip with his thumb.
"You do not have to, parrot," he said quietly, leaning in close to her. "However, I would like you to do something for me." He hushed, forcing her to swallow hard.
"W..what?"
"Calm down," he laughed, his gaze fixed on her lovely lips. "It is not going to be difficult," he said seductively, leaning in closer and catching her lower lip, sucking it slowly.
Sage gasped in surprise as he muttered against her lips. "Take a bath with me."
