Chapter 106: Good Mira for Cyrus?

Returning to the dungeon and walking straight to one of the cells guarded by two guards, Dexter was seen tied to a chair and shirtless, with a disgustingly bloodied face.

His eyes were completely swollen, with blood prickles as tears. A large visible scar from being burned by fire could be seen on his chest and his hands, which were tied behind his back; all ten of his fingers were severed.

When he saw Cyrus and Ashton enter, he burst out laughing and yelled, "Are you coming to torture me again? You should just kill me!"

Cyrus took off his white coat and handed it to Ashton, who immediately took it and hung it around his neck.

"You speak as if it is not a difficult task. You are very easy to crush, but you should know that you are not completely useless right now." Cyrus hissed calmly as he folded his shirt sleeves.

"I have been wondering since you brought me here, what do you want from me?!" Dexter screamed in terror.

"I know you were a thief before you met Lianna all those years ago, and through her, you had a little greatness, but I also know you worked for Esteban while married to Lianna." Cyrus revealed unexpectedly, and Dexter’s throbbing eyes hurt.

"He... I met him one day after Genevieve returned to Credia with her baby. He told me to kill the fire mage, but after a few years he changed his mind and said he wanted to use the fire mage as a pawn to destroy you and conquer Credia in exchange for riches." Dexter revealed hesitantly.

"And here you are," Cyrus said curtly, staring at his fingers, which were covered in tiny blue sparkling.

"How well do you know me?" Cyrus inquired sinisterly.

"Ju... just like everyone else." Dexter stumbled.

"Good," Cyrus said, smirking. "Esteban has abandoned you now; he is also afraid of confronting me while you have lost everything." He laughed heartily.

"You will eventually destroy yourself! I have children who will seek vengeance!" Dexter screamed hysterically as he struggled to get out of the chair.

"Children?" Dexter immediately realised what had happened when Cyrus scoffed with laughter.

"NO!" Dexter yelled.

"Venus and Ares said it was their worst meal ever, and weren’t satisfied," Cyrus sighed contentedly.

"You cold-blooded beast!" Dexter yelled blood flowing out of his eyes as tears and shook frantically as he tried to get out of the chair.

Cyrus’ silver eyes became dangerously sharp, and he grabbed Dexter’s chin. "Do not act like a victim here; you got yourself involved in my life, and you are going to pay the price." Cyrus growled and smacked Dexter hard in the face.

Ashton rolled his eyes in disbelief as the chair and Dexter fell to the ground, and Dexter burst out wailing, regretting all of his life choices.

"This person is absolutely revolting." He moaned.

"Do you still want to send him to hell yourself?" Cyrus inquired, his gaze drawn to the glow floating above his fingers.

"No, it will be a waste of time, and he won’t make a good ice sculpture like Meghan, T..."

"Do not list," Cyrus sighed exasperatedly.

"Isn’t it better to let your parrot see him?" Ashton inquired, perplexed.

"She has a lot of important things to think about, and I have already gotten the information I need from him, so he is completely useless." Cyrus spoke as the glow in his hands increased and twisted, creating an ice spear.

When Ashton saw the spear, he scoffed. "Is that an ice spear? Really?" In disbelief, he inquired.

"Unfortunately," Cyrus said as he blew a whistle and fired the spear directly into Dexter’s head, earning Ashton a frown.

"I am not impressed." Ashton grumbled.

"Too bad for you." Cyrus said as he walked towards Dexter’s body, which was still tied to the chair.

"Rude," Ashton scoffed, crossing his arms across his chest.

Cyrus smiled and yanked the spear from Dexter’s head, tearing into his brain and breaking his skull.

Cracks could be heard as Cyrus effortlessly did this, earning Ashton’s amusement.

Cyrus pulled out the spear, completely destroying Dexter’s head, and flipped it, pointing the bloodied part at Ashton’s forehead, who happily rubbed his palms together.

"This merely inspired me." He laughed.

"Oh?" Cyrus inquired, tightening his grip on the spear, which glowed brightly and transformed into snow falling on the ground. "What is it about?"

"A birthday present!" Ashton exclaimed enthusiastically.

Cyrus rolled his eyes and drew his sleeves down. "What makes you think I would like a gift? Esteban’s head could work though," He said flatly, taking his coat off Ashton’s neck and putting it on himself.

"That will be good as well, but it is a surprise!" Ashton finished his words by waving his hands and flashing his thick fangs.

Cyrus blew air into his mouth while staring blankly at Ashton. "I am completely uninterested." He then walked past Ashton, out of the dungeon.

Ashton laughed heartily. "Your lack of interest does not prevent me from giving you the gift, Cyrus Dragos," he said as he approached the body, squatting and peering at the horribly deformed head.

"So there was another person in the dungeon." Mirabella’s voice could be heard behind him.

"Also, Cyrus has forgiven you. So careless of him." Ashton scoffed, stood up, and faced Mirabella.

"I am going to be a good girl from now on." Mirabella flipped her hair and spoke proudly.

"For him or for me, because I prefer bad Mira." Ashton whispered and blew her a kiss.

Mirabella scoffed in disbelief and inhaled deeply to calm herself. With a forced smile, she inquired, "Who was he? I only noticed the water mage and no other people in the dungeon, not even Lianna and Isabella. Did Cyrus cast a spell?"

"You should know nothing about a dead person, Mirabella; you will meet him soon if you become bad Mira," Ashton teased, winking at Mirabella, who frowned.

"I am seriously going to teach you a lesson, but I also need to prepare lessons for my student." Mirabella said, turning away.

"What?" Ashton appeared in front of her, leaning in close to her face. "Are you the one teaching his parrot skill of mages?"

"Yes," Mirabella huffed proudly and turned to walk away, but he appeared in front of her, laughing loudly as if he had heard a joke.

"How ridiculous." He laughed, and she punched him in the stomach, causing him to choke.

"Says who?" She inquired angrily.

He smiled once more and leaned in close to her. "Says I," He winked at her before vanishing from her sight.
