Manaless Mage-Chapter 320: Harry’s dominance
Chapter 320: Chapter 320: Harry’s dominance
Suddenly—
RUMBLE!!
Adolf sprung up from the heart of the crater, a coughing growl escaping his mouth as he staggered forward.
He was a mess.
His body steamed with residual heat from the explosion.
Charred lines stretched across his arms and torso, his obsidian-like skin cracked and flaking in several places.
One of his horns had fractured at the base, and blood trickled down his temple in thin, dark streams.
The claws on his right hand were shattered down to the base knuckles, and worse still—his wings were barely functional.
They hung behind him like ruined banners, the membrane torn and clipped at the edges, burnt down to scorched nubs.
His breath came in ragged pants, shoulders heaving as he struggled to remain upright.
Even so—
He raised his head.
And froze.
Harry hovered high above him, cloaked in fire and dominance.
The flaming wings at his back spread wide like a monarch presiding over his battlefield.
His presence was immense, his aura like the sun bearing down on a wilting flower.
There was no hesitation in his gaze. No weakness. Only absolute control.
Adolf felt a cold shiver crawl down his spine.
His chest tightened.
’No... there’s no way to win against that.’
The bitter truth clawed at the back of his mind. He could feel it in his bones—his transformation was almost at its end.
The borrowed power of the dark spell that turned him into this half-demon form was burning out fast, and with each second, his strength waned. His stamina drained. His body screamed in protest.
But he didn’t stop.
He wouldn’t.
He couldn’t.
’He has to be running out of mana too. That kind of magical power—it can’t be infinite...!’
He clenched his fists, breathing hard through bloodied lips.
"I’m not done yet!" Adolf roared into the sky, his voice hoarse but defiant. "Don’t think that’s enough to take me down... I’ll finish my mission—even if it’s at the cost of my life!"
The declaration echoed, bouncing across the cracked stones and ruined earth.
Above, Harry remained still.
His eyes narrowed slightly, the flame around his body flickering brighter in response. freewebnσvel.cøm
The flaming wings on his back flapped once, gently—slowly, almost as if in boredom.
Fwoosh.
He floated just a little higher, peering down at the struggling figure below him.
A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips—mocking.
"We’ll see about that."
Adolf’s jaw tightened.
He gnashed his teeth, refusing to back down.
Shadowy tendrils began to swirl around his limbs once more—thin at first, but gradually thickening into visible ribbons of dark energy.
They coiled around his arms, his chest, pooling at his feet and rising like mist.
But he wasn’t fooling anyone.
Even now, his legs trembled slightly beneath him.
Harry raised a hand toward him, palm open.
"This fight is over already," He said calmly. "Just surrender."
But Adolf didn’t respond.
He didn’t even breathe.
Because in the next instant—
FWOOM!!
Behind Harry, the sky ignited.
Five enormous dragon heads, sculpted entirely from roaring flame, appeared out of the air like summoned gods.
Their necks stretched behind Harry like serpentine shadows of the apocalypse—eyes glowing molten red, jaws wide and brimming with heat.
Each one was massive, easily larger than a carriage. Their presence alone warped the air around them, setting the sky ablaze in ripples of heat distortion.
The fire crackled violently from their mouths, flickering tongues of flame dripping down their fangs.
Adolf’s knees buckled slightly.
His heart seized in his chest.
’What... what is that?!’
A deep, soul-numbing fear crawled up his spine.
He couldn’t look away. Couldn’t even think straight.
’How... how does he still have this much power...?!’
It didn’t make sense.
The amount of mana required to conjure something like that should’ve drained even a powerful mage dry.
Yet Harry showed no signs of strain.
Unbeknownst to Adolf, there was a reason for that—one that would’ve made his heart shatter.
Harry wasn’t using mana at all.
[You’re scaring him, you know,] Leon’s voice chuckled softly in his mind.
’I know... but then, it feels too good.’ Harry thought, his eyes gleaming.
He stared directly at the trembling man below and tilted his head slightly.
"I want to see how you survive this next attack," He said, his voice calm—but with a chilling finality.
Adolf hissed in frustration, shadows lashing out around him in erratic spirals.
"No... no, I won’t—!!"
But before he could even complete the sentence—
Harry simply waved his hand.
"Go."
The five dragon heads reared back in unison, their molten mouths flaring wide.
Then—
ROOOOOOOOOAAAAAR!!!!
They let out an ear-shattering bellow that shook the heavens.
The sound alone was enough to make the clouds scatter above them.
And then they lunged.
FWOOSH!!
The dragons charged down toward Adolf like comets, their bodies spinning with heat and power. The sky behind them split with their descent, trails of searing fire left in their wake.
Adolf’s mind blanked.
His entire body locked up in terror.
He couldn’t even move.
He wanted nothing more than to dodge, he needed to if he wanted fo avoid certain death... however, his legs wouldn’t even budge.
He slowly turned his gaze downward—
And his eyes widened in horror.
A strange rock-like substance was crawling up his legs.
It was dull brown in color, but pulsed with faint red veins—pulsing softly as though alive. It had climbed up past his shins, locking his feet into place like hardened chains.
"What—?!"
He couldn’t even take a step.
The more he struggled, the faster it climbed.
It quickly reached his thighs, going a little above his waist until it completely held him in place.
The stone was a part of the terrain—an advanced variation of Earth Hold, empowered through Harry’s manipulation.
"No—NO!!"
Adolf screamed.
But the dragons were already upon him.
He subconsciously stretched his hand towards the fiery dragon heads, summoning a small black ball of shadow.
He desperately launched the attack, but just like he had expected, it was easily swallowed up by one of the dragon heads.
’This can’t be it...’ He thought, feeling the intense heat of the dragons scorching his skin as they closed in on him.
ROARRR!!
BOOMMM!!!!!
