"Hmmmm." Ken paused and looked over at Kang’s carriage before turning back to shake his head. "We already have permission from your supreme leader, checking out men and resources is uncalled for and…"

"You don’t have a choice, kid. Do you know who this is?" Before Ken could finish, one of the men in the Terragor troop line came forward to retort. The man standing before them was famous.

He was one of the geniuses who had conquered a peak during the Royal Walkway competition a few months ago. Inside the Yi Mountain Range, there existed several smaller mountaintops that would serve as merging points for the rocs from the Golden Griffin Clan.

Unlike the previous time, the Blood Serpent Clan didn’t partake in the conquering of the smaller mountaintops this time. They had put their entire force into conquering the main one, so naturally, others were able to conquer them.

The man here was one of those who had conquered the smaller peaks: Tyrian Weilin, the genius of the Terragor Clan.

"Uhhhh, no, not really," Ken shook his head with some confusion. Was this supposed to be someone he knew? He looked quite ordinary to him.

"Impudent!!" The men of the Terragor Clan jerked forward with their horses as they threatened to attack. However, they were quickly stopped by Tyrian with a wave of his hand.

"This is our territory. It is our right to check any foreign elements that pass through it. As for your so-called deal with the supreme leader, I’m sure I would be the first to hear of it before anyone else, no?" Tyrian stared down Ken with all seriousness while he spoke. His importance in the clan would not be undermined by these random outsiders.

If he couldn’t stand his ground against them, then what use was his reputation? He would not stand back.

"You, take off your helmet. You are in the presence of a superior." Tyrian turned to Leon and spoke coldly, with authority and arrogance. Grunt soldiers were not allowed to wear helmets in front of soldiers stronger than them.

It was extremely disrespectful in the Sacred Lands.

"Hm?" Leon, who was a few inches behind Ken, raised his eyebrow at Tyrian. Who did this guy think he was? Did he not see that he was like him, a Level 4 existence?

"You heard him, take it off!!" One of Tyrian’s men rode forward toward Leon and stretched his hand forward in an attempt to grab his helmet.

Even though they believed Leon to be Ken’s personal guard, they were going to force him to take off his helmet as a form of humiliation to both. This was their territory, after all.

Leon saw this and frowned deeply. As he felt the hand of the soldier grab his helmet, he couldn’t believe his eyes. This guy, who seemed to have only just entered the beginning stages of Level 3, was trying to remove his helmet?

What the hell was this?

Leon was flabbergasted.

"Hehe," the soldier didn’t notice this, though. He simply grabbed the helmet and rode his horse away.

Unfortunately for him, he didn’t notice until stopping that the moment he grabbed the helmet on Leon’s head, his hand had been cut clean off and was currently hanging from Leon’s head.

"Stupid." Leon grabbed the severed hand and threw it to the floor with a look of annoyance on his face. He didn’t understand what gave them the gall to try what they just did, but he would make sure they regretted it.

"Die!" With a wave of his hand, Leon sent a ball of cyan-colored flame that engulfed the soldier who reached for his helmet, setting him ablaze in an instant.

"Shit!" This scene was naturally witnessed by Tyrian and the troops of the Terragor Clan, who immediately took a fighting stance.

"Please stop! This brother here is a Great Warlock, like myself!" Ken shouted with a bit of panic. This situation had taken a turn too quickly. He didn’t have the time to explain.

"I can see that, but what then gives him the right…" Tyrian wanted to speak, but before he could even finish, he was cut off by Leon.

"There are at least 4 Great Warlocks in our troop. If you think the Blood Serpent Clan is afraid of you, then you are extremely mistaken," Leon stepped forward and said as he looked straight at the Terragor clansmen.

There was a time to lay low and be calm. This was Leon’s nature most times, but these people were clearly in need of a good beating, and he wouldn’t mind giving them that beating.

"Hmp!! I fought off several top-grade Level 4 Warlocks before climbing up Yi Mountain. You are not special," Tyrian sneered as he jerked his horse forward and pulled out twin daggers covered in jewels.

They were going to fight, and he was going to kill all of them. He didn’t care for the consequences. They had disrespected him, and they had to die.

If only he knew that amongst the people he was trying to fight were Ken Zoltan, the genius formation master who was second only to the Great Black Wing, the formation master of Griffin’s Peak; Leon Arduin, the rumored genius of the Blood Serpent Clan who had succeeded in unlocking the bloodline of the Drake that made even the Level 5 existence of the Golden Griffin Clan greedy; and last but not least, Kang.

The new chief warden of the Blood Serpent Clan and a quasi-Level 5 existence.

This person was as strong as his clan’s supreme leader. This was a very stupid and ill-informed decision born from arrogance.

They could easily wipe out these men.

But as luck would have it, this did not happen because—

"Put down your arms!!" A voice resounded from the sky, and a giant of a man slowly floated down to the ground beside the Terragor troops.

"Supreme leader!" As soon as they saw him, they all bowed subconsciously as a cold wave of water poured over their heads.

"Hmp!!" The man sneered as he looked at Tyrian with the corner of his eye. This dude was a nobody who had betrayed his clansmen to steal the royal providence from the top of one of Yi Mountain Range’s mountains.

They couldn’t execute him, though, since he had the providence in him. A talent was a talent, no matter how despicable.

The supreme leader still hated his guts, though.

"Sorry for the inconvenience, young ones. Please give my regards to the Chief Warden," the supreme leader bowed humbly to Leon and Ken.

He didn’t want trouble with the Blood Serpent Clan or Bloodrock City. They already had enough on their plates, and getting between the Golden Griffin Clan and the Blood Serpent Clan’s fight was not what he wanted.

"No, we should be the ones apologizing," Ken said cordially as he rode forward to pull Leon back.

"We will take our leave now," he didn’t want to stick around. Today was already too frustrating, and being invited into the Terragor Clan was only going to frustrate him more.

As soon as Ken said that, the supreme leader nodded and let them go, while he stood not speaking to any of his clansmen.

"This troop has been demoted to a 50-man squad. Disband immediately," he said before flying away without an explanation or a single glance at Tyrian.

The fool had nearly gotten them into trouble. His influence needed to be turned down several notches.

Meanwhile, amongst Leon’s troop, Ember could be seen looking behind at where the Terragor troop had encountered them.
