Magus Supremacy-Chapter 313: A New Fusion Skill: Crimson Judgement {Super gift bonus chap 4}
"I'm trying to kill you, so die!" Dave roared, his voice echoing like thunder as the very domain quaked beneath his fury.
From the cracked earth, towering metallic constructs erupted—fifty in total—each one rising like a mechanical colossus, standing sentinel before Dave.
Their monstrous forms, forged from dark, polished steel, shimmered ominously under the arena lights.
Each one gripped a massive war hammer, easily the size of a full-grown man. The weapons alone looked capable of leveling a fortress.
Their joints creaked, groaned, and clanged as they moved, emitting deep, mechanical roars. The sheer weight of their steps made the ground rumble, and the coliseum trembled with every synchronized motion.
A wicked grin split across Dave's face.
"Metal Creation Magic: Ferros!"
"Kek Kek Kek Kek Kek Kek Kek Kek Kek Kek Kek Kek!"
A mocking, deranged laugh suddenly echoed around the coliseum. It was Grey. His hand was on his face, shoulders shaking, unaffected by the lightning gauntlet that still clung to his arm.
"Please… hold on a second," Grey said, sitting cross-legged on the ground as he burst into another fit of uncontrollable laughter.
The crowd, his friends, Amir, and even Dave stared in disbelief.
"Is he... losing his mind?" someone whispered.
"Looks like it," another replied. "That attack was monstrous. Maybe the pressure finally broke him."
"I feel kinda bad for him now."
"Still... why do all their blows feel like they're aiming to kill?"
"Well duh, the redhead's pissed Dave nearly killed his friend."
"I thought they were brothers! Why's Dave trying to murder his sibling?"
"This whole tournament's taken a twisted turn. It's like watching a psycho fight to the death."
"My money's still on the redhead."
"Same here."
"Actually, no. Judging by his laughing fit, I think he's snapped. Dave's got this."
"Agreed."
As speculation buzzed through the crowd, Grey finally calmed down. Wiping tears from his eyes, he stood up, still chuckling.
"What's so funny?" Dave demanded, fists clenched, a throbbing vein bulging on his forehead.
"I'm sorry," Grey said, raising his hands in mock surrender, a smirk tugging at his lips. "For a moment, your whole act—the pose, the psycho laugh—I thought you were about to unleash something terrifying."
He facepalmed himself with a dramatic slap.
"But nah, you just summoned puppets."
"How dare you call my creations mere puppets?!" Dave snapped, golden eyes flaring with rage.
"Because that's what they are. Puppets. And they won't even touch me," Grey replied coldly, his smile vanishing.
"I've had enough! Just die already!"
Dave flung his arm forward and the fifty constructs charged. Each step was a quake.
Metal thundered against the earth as they raised their hammers high and brought them crashing down upon Grey, who stood motionless—hands in his pockets, the lightning gauntlet faded but his body faintly glowing.
His head remained bowed.
BOOM!
The impact shattered the ground, leaving a crater meters deep. The shockwave rattled the entire domain. Even miles away, the earth trembled.
Amir bolted upright, eyes wide with panic.
"Damn it! Why didn't that cocky kid dodge?!" he growled, fists clenched.
The dust slowly settled. Grey had vanished. All that remained was a fractured pit so deep it looked like the earth itself had cracked open.
"Where is he?" Max asked, leaning forward.
"Did Dave... actually kill him?"
"I... think he flattened the kid."
Dave chuckled, blood dripping from a cut on his forehead."Wow!" He
exclaimed, a grin crept on his face as he walked towards his golems, blood dripping down his face. "Your arrogance finally led to your downfall."
"Yaaaawn!"
The yawn echoed loudly. Heads turned as Grey appeared a few meters away, utterly unharmed, arms folded, an exaggerated look of boredom on his face.
"That was it? Tsk tsk. Weak."
"Enough is enough! Finish him!!" Dave bellowed.
The golems surged again, faster now, their forms blurring with acceleration. As they neared, Grey calmly raised a single finger—his index—pointed it forward, and muttered four words.
"Fusion Magic: Raijin Spiral."
A blinding tornado erupted—raging wind fused with crackling lightning. It roared to life with a thunderous screech, tearing across the arena like a divine execution.
The ground split open like parchment beneath a flaming blade. The golems had no time to react.
They were shredded.
Torn apart.
Their bodies crumbled like dry leaves in a storm. Or almost like a building being torn down to the ground.
SILENCE!
Not a soul spoke as the dust settled. Grey lowered his hand, tucking it casually into his pocket. A satisfied smile curled on his lips.
Dave stood rooted, stunned. His clenched fists trembled.
'Is it true? Even with Magus Dominion amplifying my magic to the next level, even using it to create constructs and powers I could never do without it, am I still weak?
Can't I still defeat this weak peasant?! What can I do? How do I defeat him? Is he really untouchable?'
He grit his teeth, rage and confusion surging inside.
"Is that really all you've got?" Grey asked, eyes narrowing. "Should I go on the offensive now? Because unlike you… I won't fail."
"Screw you! Screw this! FULL POWER!
Metal Creation Magic: Ferros!!" Dave screamed.
The domain cracked further, veins of energy fracturing the ground. Blood trickled from his lips, but he didn't stop.
From the earth rose two hundred constructs—twice as many as before—each more menacing than the last. Above them floated a hundred metal swords, suspended in deadly formation.
'This... this is all my mana. I have nothing left after this. But it must end him.'
"Thank you," Grey said quietly, taking a step back.
He looked out at the overwhelming tide of steel and magic, unshaken.
"I have been practising a new fusion magic skill but I didn't have anything to test it on. So thank you for giving me the opportunity to test it on you. And I'm sorry, you will die in the process." Grey said, a wicked grin twisted on his face as the air dropped down several degrees, the air crackled along with it.
"Fusion magic: Crimson judgement!" Grey called out.
