Chapter 310
"You called for me? Here I am. Your death has arrived," Grey said, his voice low and brimming with an icy finality that sent shivers through the air.
"G-G-Grey?!" Vince stuttered, eyes wide in disbelief as his trembling body collapsed.
Just before he could hit the ground, a gust of wind surged beneath him, cushioning his fall.
In a flash of shimmering light, teleportation mages materialized, swiftly whisking Vince out of the arena.
"Yay! Damn it!" Amir cheered from his viewing booth, his fist clenched in excitement—though not without tension.
Meanwhile, Lucian sat tensely beside him, visibly shaken despite trying to maintain a calm demeanor.
Lucian’s hands clenched the armrest of his chair, knuckles white, sweat streaking down his face. His heart pounded wildly as his gaze remained fixed on Grey.
"I-Is... is that the Grey you were talking about?" Lucian asked, his voice wavering.
"Yeah! The strongest in the academy right now," Amir said with a proud smile, his eyes gleaming with admiration.
’Dave, you son of a b*tch!’ Amir screamed internally. ’I asked you and the others in the arena to help Vince break through his limitations! The plan was to push him to awaken his true potential in the face of adversity—not to kill him! But you took it too far. I won’t stop Grey now. You’re dead. Dead, I say.’
’Sh*t... is he the same one? No, I can’t decide yet. I’ll watch how this unfolds first,’ Lucian thought, forcing himself to lean back and observe.
Grey’s voice cut through the thickening air like a blade. "I will ask you this once," he said, his words laced with restrained fury. The sky darkened subtly, low rumbles echoing across the heavens. "What were you about to do?"
"Me? I was about to rid the kingdom of someone taking up space," Dave answered nonchalantly.
"That’s my friend!" Grey roared, his voice like thunder.
"And that’s my brother!" Dave retorted, his voice equally fierce.
"Brother? You have no right to call him that! This is the second time you’ve tried to kill him!" Grey’s fury surged, his aura beginning to thrum violently.
"I’m doing the kingdom—and myself—a favor," Dave said, the very air around him trembling.
Grey narrowed his eyes. "A favor to the kingdom? Then allow me to return the favor... by eliminating you instead!"
With a snap of his finger, a burst of lightning exploded from Grey’s hand, tearing through the air toward Dave. But Dave remained calm, lazily waving his hand.
A massive metal wall erupted from the ground, intercepting the lightning and absorbing it without so much as a scratch.
"You see," Dave said, a confident smirk on his lips, "I’ve learned my lesson. From you. Three times now. Never underestimate your opponent. So, let’s go all out, shall we?"
His eyes began to glow gold.
Lucian’s eyes widened in shock. "Wait... is he really—?"
Dave confirmed his fear.
"Magus Dominion!"
Instantly, a wave of suffocating pressure blanketed the battlefield. The air crackled with raw, invisible power as the sky contorted, twisting unnaturally above them. Reality itself seemed to bend.
The ground beneath Dave exploded into glowing golden runes that spiraled outward in perfect symmetry. The temperature dropped sharply, and for a breathless moment, silence fell.
Then—BOOM!
An eruption of magical energy burst from Dave, sending a visible shockwave through the arena. Even Grey slid backward a few inches, bracing himself.
The battlefield transformed. Space warped around Dave, glowing faintly as an ethereal dome sealed itself over the area. Inside his dominion, the rules of magic bent to his will.
"Now you’re in my domain. And here... you’ll be crushed beneath my feet," Dave declared, his voice resonating with unnatural force.
"Ooo! Scary!" Grey said mockingly, surprising the crowd as he strolled forward casually.
"I’m soooo scared!" he added, hands raised dramatically, sarcasm dripping from his words.
He stopped, eyes burning. "Even the most powerful power-up looks pathetic in your hands. Allow me to show you what real power feels like."
Grey’s body began to glow intensely, so bright it was like staring into the heart of the sun. His aura exploded outward.
"Breakthrough!"
The vast energy radiating from him suddenly congealed, rushing inward and condensing into his body.
A sly smirk curled on his lips. Above him, his wind bird multiplied—one became twelve, each identical in size and form to the original.
Lightning crackled around Grey as armor began to form: gauntlets encased his arms, boots wrapped his legs, and a glowing chestplate sealed itself over his torso.
The twelve wind birds flapped their wings, releasing a deluge of razor-sharp wind blades—hundreds of them—suspended in midair around Grey.
The crowd erupted.
"Wait! A dual-elementalist?!"
"Now I understand his confidence."
"Could we be witnessing the rise of another Kael?"
Lucian scoffed internally, arms crossed. ’Just a dual-elementalist? Tsk. Seems we had nothing to worry about after all.’
But then—it happened.
The earth split beneath Grey, tall stone pillars erupting like spears. Flames roared from the openings, surrounding Dave.
He raised a hand to summon a wall of metal, but the flames melted it effortlessly before it even reached them.
Silence fell.
"Wait—he’s a multi-elementalist?!"
"FOUR ELEMENTS?!"
"What kind of monster is he?!"
"Only the Emperor is known to possess four affinities! Who the hell is this guy?!"
"Should we say he has power on par with the Emperor?"
"Don’t be stupid! Four elements don’t make him the Emperor’s equal. It depends on his affinity strengths, which you’d know if you had magic!"
"Shut the f*ck up!"
Lucian nearly fell off his chair, his eyes bulging as though they might leap from their sockets.
’F-Four affinities?! And he said the threat hasn’t grown?! Dammit! I’ll struggle to defeat him! No—I need to report this IMMEDIATELY!’ freewēbnoveℓ.com
He shot up from his seat.
"What happened?" Amir asked. "Aren’t you going to keep watching?"
"Urgent matter. Just received a telepathic message—the Emperor wants to see me. Besides... after seeing Grey unleash four elements, I already know who’s going to win." Lucian answered quickly, then vanished from the booth.
"What a strange man," Amir muttered, turning his attention back to the battle.
Grey slowly raised one hand.
Fifty fire arrows. Fifty lightning arrows. Fifty jagged earth spikes. A swarm of suspended wind blades.
All aimed directly at Dave.
"For daring to try and kill someone dear to me... I pronounce your death. Goodbye," Grey said, voice calm yet commanding. Then he snapped his fingers.
The sky roared as the elemental onslaught surged toward Dave at full speed, a storm of death no one could hope to survive.

It seems like the universe wants me to keep doing mass release 😅 thanks to the generous reader for that massive super gift, we would have an extra five Chapters again.
Honestly, I’m rapidly burning through my stockpile reserve 🤧 but for you all, for The Magus Legion, it is all worth it. So sit back, relax and enjoy and I hope Grey hasn’t made a mistake by going all out in front of all.
