"Long time no see, Magic God." Due to the damage to his lungs, every word Lynch spoke was accompanied by a wheezing sound. However, the numbness in his body completely distracted him from noticing this, and his ears, long drained of blood, could not hear his own voice. "It seems you are completing an earth-shattering magic, and are entirely unable to spare any attention — how fortunate for me!"

The Magic God frowned. Indeed, he could not interrupt the magic in his hands, as the backlash would be fatal to his body. However, Lynch seemed unable to launch an attack on him, since the protective barrier on him was still functioning. The Magic God focused his mind, concentrating his willpower on the spell itself, doing his best to ignore external distractions. Yet Lynch's words still penetrated his ears without fail...

"I can't hear what I'm saying, I'm not even sure if I'm speaking at all — this feeling is truly strange." The more Lynch spoke, the more relaxed he became, a stark contrast to his body gradually collapsing. "Magic God, you might as well listen like this. Thank you for everything you've done inside my head, I've finally recognized this issue — I've lost." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

'This is Lynch's trick, as long as my spell is completed, I can ensure a hundred percent victory. His words are completely meaningless!' This thought flashed instantly in the Magic God's mind, and the magic runes in front of him grew ever brighter.

"Congratulations on your victory, I sincerely mean it — after all, from now on, you will never see me again." Lynch was propped up by the Magic Wand, barely keeping from collapsing. Oblivious to the increasingly intense magic waves surrounding him, he continued casually, "You siphon magic from me, so no matter how hard I try, at most I can only draw with you. You know this well, as do I. Yet I must win, so I racked my brains for an advantage, to tip the scales of victory."

"I nearly succeeded, which is why you became this wretched shadow — it would be quite embarrassing if it got out." Lynch grinned, shedding the burden on him: "But in the end, I lost. Not to you, but to myself."

"In my heart, I've never believed I could defeat you." Lynch shook his head, "Just like when I tried to save my father, no matter how precise the calculations, no matter how hard I tried, it was all premised on the thought that victory was impossible. Thank you for showing me my obstinacy."

"I've always felt that my efforts were never enough, never stopping until perfect. Because of that, my work would never find an end, and victory was equally out of reach. Unless..."

Lynch shakily drew a scroll from his bosom, "This is prepared for Zilvra. I had plans for the future, but dreams were long lost — I have lost my dreams. Thus, I was terribly afraid, afraid she would one day leave my side, vanish into the crowd. So, I prepared this scroll, to cleanse memories — not Zilvra's memories, but my own. I could never see hope, in my mind only lay an ever-collapsing future — this was the price for the Eye of Insight. I would rather forget everything, lose all of myself, than live in such darkness."

"So, farewell, Magic God. You will not see me again." Lynch slowly unrolled the scroll, grasping it tightly: "I choose to forget magic, I choose to forget the past — I've done this once before; this is my second and last time. This way, you can no longer draw any power from the Magic Origin through me, you will become as helpless as I am. And your magic will strike a mind in complete chaos and will utterly fail."

"However, I will leave the sole thought in my mind that I can defeat you. Aside from that, nothing else." Lynch drew a drop of blood from the wound in his chest, smearing it on the scroll: "This body of mine will become a Slaughterer of Magic Gods. Elsewhere it poses no threat, but here it's different."

Lynch, using the last of his strength, tossed the scroll high into the air, allowing the seven-colored rainbow light to envelop him tightly. Tears flooded his eyes, yet he laughed loudly: "This space will change constantly with human will, it will aid my victory! No! Aid 'his' victory!"
