Chapter 87: Chapter 87: Becoming an Admin

@RobGod (replied to RazonMinecraft): If you’re the developer, then I’m a god. Nice try little bro.

That was all it took. Within seconds, the general chat exploded, the chat was filled with laugher as some were mocking him

@StoneBrickBrain: Yeah, little bro, also I’m the developer’s dog, haha.

@DirtBlockDan: Breaking news: random dude walks in and says he’s Bill Gates. Internet shocked and believed it, that’s you little bro.

@HerobrineMyBeloved: Dev? Bro your pfp still got the default ’M’ 🤣

@ZEnderman420: If you’re the dev then I’m Steve’s long-lost twin, make me an admin as well RobGod.

@PixelPirate: Petition to give this guy the rank: [Certified Liar]

@RedstoneRat: Let him cook. Literally cooking up lies 😂😂

...

Seeing the massive chats flooding in made him speechless. The screen was being filled with comments cursing him and making fun of him for saying that part.

It all seemed a bit plausible since his game was very famous, and saying something without credibility made him look foolish.

So, he typed away on his keyboard, taking a screenshot of his screen. He then attached the picture with a simple caption.

With that, he sent it, feeling a little amused at how much attention the playful exchange had gotten.

@RazonMinecraft(Replied to Robgod): I’m not lying to all of you, I just made the next update and planned to update the game. (Attached image)

In the chat, the picture he attached clearly showed a new section after clicking the [Start Game] menu.

There was a Multiplayer section. In another picture, there were three buttons: Host Server, Join Server, and Find Server.

The chat went silent for a moment, everyone processing the new update.

It was clear now, he wasn’t joking. The multiplayer feature was real, and it was going to change the game.

Tommy, seeing this, narrowed his eyes, and the others who had been making fun of Jeff were now silent after he showed the evidence.

@MrBeastRizz: Are you really the developer of Minecraft?

He asked him for confirmation, still a bit skeptical at first.

@RazonMinecraft: Yes, I am. Wait, I’ll send all of you the next patch.

When he said that, he then sent the announcement in the chat, revealing the next patch update for everyone to see.

The tension in the chat shifted, curiosity taking over as they eagerly awaited the new features.

@Razon: Patch v2.0.0 – Multiplayer Core Update will be Live Soon!

After weeks of coding, testing, and optimization, I’m excited to finally release the most important update in the game’s history so far, Multiplayer will now be officially live!

You can now host your own worlds, connect with friends, and build together in real time. This marks the beginning of the game’s transformation from a solo sandbox into a shared universe.

Want to know what’s new in v2.0.0?

Multiplayer Core Integration:

Host & Join Servers via IP and Peer-to-peer networking powered by Mirror (no third-party logins required)

Server Authoritative World Sync:

The game now runs on a server-authoritative world sync system, meaning all block placements and destruction are validated directly by the server, eliminating desyncs, duplication glitches, and cheating exploits.

While player positions, health, and inventory are also updated in real-time to ensure a perfectly consistent multiplayer experience for everyone.

Performance Boosts:

This update introduces major performance boosts, including chunk-based world loading to reduce lag, smart entity culling and visibility logic to prevent unnecessary rendering, and a network compression layer that ensures smooth, low-latency gameplay, even on slower internet connections.

Premium Multiplayer Package:

Players who unlock the game with a premium.key gain access to powerful features including hosting servers with more than 10 players, using the Mod Manager and custom plugins, accessing full modding tools such as the /Mods folder and support for JSON and DLL injection, and eligibility for the upcoming public server listing feature.

Modding Begins Now:

Modding officially begins now for server hosts, with full support to add new blocks using mod_block.json.

And create custom mobs via mod_entity.json, and redesign HUD and UI elements through mod_ui.json.

This gives every creator the tools to build, test, and inject their own content directly into the game.

Multiplayer Note: This version is fully synced, but only player-hosted servers are available for now. Server discovery (Find Server) is still in development.

Patch Details:

Version: v2.0.0

Seeing the massive announcement, all of them were shocked and excited. There was actually going to be a massive multiplayer update that could host a lot of players.

This meant they could finally play together in the same world, and the chat was flooded with messages from every user, all kinds of excitement and questions bombarding the screen, covering the announcement.

But RobGod was quick. He moved the message to the announcement bar and then messaged Jeff privately.

@RobGod: Are you really the developer of Minecraft, that unknown developer?

Seeing a message pop up in his request notifications, Jeff saw it was from the admin and quickly responded.

@RazonMinecraft: Yes, it’s me. All of that will be updated on Monday. I just wanted to leave it here and also see my fanbase, which is actually really big. I can’t believe there are a total of 1 million users in here.

@RobGod: Of course, your game is literally lit🔥. Wait, I’ll make you an admin first, also, sorry about earlier.

Jeff couldn’t help but smile at the turn of events. His game was getting the recognition it deserved, and now, he was about to become an admin of the server.

@RazonMinecraft: Don’t mention it, since even I wouldn’t believe it as well.

@RobGod: Haha, it’s just that there are a lot of people claiming they were you. I was tricked once and made one of them an admin, then they started kicking all the members.

Reading this, Jeff laughed clearly amused by the chaos. He bid his goodbye for a moment, then went to the general chat.

The enthusiasm in the messages was palpable. But then, one message caught his eye.

@TechNoBlade(Verified User): How much is the premium multiplayer package?

Seeing his chat, all of them began to mention him one by one, filling up the chat with questions. So he quickly responded.

@RazonMinecraft: The price for the premium multiplayer package would be $5.

The prize was very low, especially considering the multitude of powerful features. The users, seeing the value, agreed that this was an incredible deal.

The excitement grew even more as they realized they could access a game of such quality at such a reasonable price.

TechBlade, who had changed his name to TechNoBlade, was in awe. He had expected it to be a monthly subscription, but seeing that it was a one-time payment, he was impressed by how affordable it was.

@HerobrineGhost: Owner, owner. Is Herobrine one of your secret updates, or is this some kind of bug?

@CaveMiner22: Hey dev, I was playing solo and saw white eyes in the dark. Is that Herobrine, or am I just sleep-deprived?

@BuildzforDays: There was a pyramid in the middle of the ocean in my world is that intentional?

@GlitchHunterYT: Yo Razon, be honest. Did you actually put Herobrine in or is the game haunted now?

@EnderKid777: My leaves disappeared randomly and I heard footsteps. Is that a feature?

@RedstoneTaco: Are we supposed to be seeing signs with weird text in single-player?

@PixelCrafter91: Why is Herobrine mentioned nowhere in the patch notes? 👀

@SteveLivesMatter: So I dug down and found a 2x2 tunnel and it just kept going. Is that your doing?

@FirstBloodZ: Please do tell if it’s some kind of script? Cuz whatever it is, it’s freaking me out.

@BedrockDevourer: Razon, is Herobrine permanent or will it be removed in the next update?

... freewebnoveℓ.com

Reading lots and lots of comments from the community made him a bit dizzy, but that was just an exaggeration.

Still, the flood of Herobrine sightings was getting harder to ignore.

@RazonMinecraft: Herobrine? An update? What are you talking about?

He sent the message casually, but it dropped like a bomb. The chat went silent for a few seconds.

Then it exploded.

@CaveMiner22: Bro... BRO STOP. WHAT DO YOU MEAN ’what update’? 😨

@GlitchHunterYT: Wait... so it’s not official?? Then what the hell did I just see in the cave???

@RedstoneTaco: THAT’S NOT FUNNY OWNER. I SAW HIM. HE LEFT A SIGN.

@SteveLivesMatter: So, it’s not in the code?? Then it’s a virus?? A cursed seed??

@BuildzforDays: Nope. I’m deleting the game. I’m out. This going to leave trauma all over me.

@PixelCrafter91: Guys if it’s not a feature. Then who’s spawning the tunnels??

@UltraCringeKing: Turns off game🔥 Uninstall🔥 Burns laptop 🔥

...

He laid down in his bed, smiling in amusement as he watched the chaos unfold before him.

"The legend of Herobrine is live again. I’m curious who named that Herobrine, though," he muttered to himself, amused by the stir it had caused.

With that, he typed another message.

@RazonMinecraft: I’ll check it and see if there was really a Herobrine. Goodbye, everyone.

With that he closed his laptop feeling refreshed all over him.

Since he was free currently, he decided to spend his time to read an 18Manhwa with the title ’Secret Class’ and yep, he found it.

If he can clearly remembered he was in Chapter 43, but now the latest Chapter is at 212.

"Wow that’s a lot" he said with sparkling eyes.
