Love Symphony: Let Your Heart Beat for Me-Chapter 171 -086 Eternal Wen Qin (Qin Yan Wen He Extra Part 1)_3
"Miss Wen, did you just get off work?" The man smiled, revealing a set of yellow teeth that was quite an eyesore, immediately decreasing Wen He’s impression of him by thirty percent.
Wen He averted her gaze and nodded slightly.
"Where does Miss Wen work?" he asked again.
Wen He: "Orchestra."
A trace of surprise flashed in the man’s eyes: "Music? What does Miss Wen play?"
Wen He forced a smile: "Flute."
The man nodded with interest, pondering for a moment before suddenly asking, "When does Miss Wen plan to marry me?"
Wen He paused mid-sip, almost choking: "M-marry?" 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
"Yes, didn’t you come for a blind date to get married?" the man said matter-of-factly, "I’m already thirty. If you don’t mind, we can get our marriage license next month during my annual leave. As for the wedding... I’d prefer to keep it simple since my mother is quite thrifty... "
Listening to his grand talk left Wen He speechless. She absentmindedly glanced away, surprisingly catching a familiar figure approaching from afar. He wore a shirt and trousers, tall and handsome. His athletic build subtly showed through the white shirt, and his long, dark eyes were slightly aloof. The handsome contours made Wen He’s heart skip inexplicably.
On the other side, Qin Yan also spotted Wen He sitting on the sofa chair from afar. Though they were acquaintances, they weren’t very close, so he had no intention of greeting her. As he was about to pass by her spot, his eyes inadvertently caught the man sitting opposite her, making him pause in surprise. However, his expression remained calm as he walked past her seat.
Wen He’s grip on her water glass tightened. In her distraction, she realized Qin Yan had quietly walked by her side.
The man in front of her was still endlessly talking about his future plans, yet Wen He had already lost all patience. Her mind was in chaos from listening to his incessant chatter. In a spur of the moment, she turned towards the figure who had just passed her by and called out, "Qin Yan—"
The man on the blind date was stunned, following her line of sight.
Qin Yan’s steps halted, and he unconsciously turned his head to look over.
Wen He continued to gaze at him, her voice soft and gentle: "Come here."
Qin Yan raised an eyebrow in confusion, glancing at the utterly bewildered man sitting opposite Wen He, but, as if following instinct, he turned back and walked towards Wen He.
Wen He, her expression unchanged, looked up at him and asked, "Are you mad?"
Qin Yan: "..."
Blind date man: "?"
Wen He began to utter complete nonsense, seriously: "Because I went on a blind date, are you mad? Is that why you came all the way here but ignored me?"
Qin Yan: "....."
Wen He: "My aunty set this up, and I just found out... Please don’t be angry..."
Qin Yan: "........"
Blind date man, still confused: "???"
Wen He stood up and took his arm: "I was wrong, let’s go home. I’ll listen to you from now on, I promise not to go on any more blind dates."
Qin Yan: "............"
The man on the blind date quickly stood up: "Miss Wen..."
"Sorry." Wen He finally turned to look at him, smiling, "My boyfriend and I are leaving now."
Blind date man: "......"
After leaving the restaurant, Wen He walked with Qin Yan for several more meters. She paused, looking back at the distant restaurant, and finally let go of his arm with a sigh of relief.
Qin Yan, speechless, watched the woman who had just orchestrated this entire scene, and suddenly couldn’t help but burst into a laugh.
Wen He: "......"
Qin Yan bit his lip, suppressing his laughter, but it only grew stronger.
Wen He found his laughter inexplicable: "... Laughing at what? Never seen a blind date before?"
Qin Yan pursed his lips again, but eventually couldn’t hold back and burst out laughing: "Hahaha..." His deep, clear laughter startled the passing pedestrians, who turned their heads to look at them in surprise.
Wen He saw the strange looks directed at them and apologized with a smile: "Sorry, sorry, his brain is a bit off..."
The onlookers glanced at the tall and handsome man and walked away, shaking their heads regretfully.
Qin Yan: "..."
Wen He couldn’t help but laugh, patting Qin Yan’s shoulder and asking with a smile: "Drink? It’s on me!"
Qin Yan gave her a sidelong glance, about to say a single-syllable "no," but she took him by the arm and dragged him towards the bar.
Qin Yan: "......"
