Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming!-Chapter 762: I’d Rather Not Have This Apology
I don’t know if she’s overthinking, but Dawn Sutherland seems to trust and be extra gentle with Daisy Grant, different from other girls, even better than with his foster sister Ariel Morris.
Is it because Daisy is his sister-in-law? But aren’t Dawn and Aidan Sutherland not on good terms? Why is Dawn so nice to this sister-in-law? ——
Evalian Chapman pursed her lips, her feelings a bit complicated, as she turned to help Ariel Morris organize customer information.
"Daisy, is your foot injury better? Sit down and watch, don’t stay standing," Dawn gently said.
Daisy lightly smiled, "Second Brother, my foot is almost healed."
Daisy said, taking a seat in Dawn’s office chair, carefully reviewing the planning strategies she held in her hand.
After Daisy finished the last page, Dawn smiled faintly, "How is it? Any suggestions?"
"It’s great. With the planning from Second Brother and Third Young Master Haynes and Brother Seys, there shouldn’t be any issues. By the way – Second Brother, I have also drafted a planning proposal, can you check if it might help?"
Daisy opened her bag and handed over the planning proposal she had worked several nights on to Dawn.
Dawn took it, opened to look, quickly skimmed through it, his eyes showing unusual delight, "Daisy, how did you come to draft a planning proposal?"
Daisy lightly smiled, "I knew Second Brother’s new company was opening, but my foot injury kept me from helping much, so I crafted this while being idle at home over these few days. I’m not sure if it might help Second Brother."
The hand holding the document seemed to carry a thousand weights for Dawn, who looked deeply into Daisy’s eyes.
This girl’s been like this, from the first meeting to now, always silently helping when he needs it, and just because of calling him Second Brother, she seems to truly treat him like family, supporting him, helping him, encouraging him.
How could he not love a girl like this?
"Daisy, did you stay up several nights?" Dawn’s voice was a bit hushed, his fingers tightly gripping the document in his palm.
He knew how hard it was to draft a planning proposal. Even his own took more than a week of sleepless nights to finish. Daisy’s, without judging its quality, being finished within three days must have meant working through the nights.
"Second Brother, for your company to soar high and advance brightly is stronger than anything,"
"Daisy—" Dawn murmured softly, his voice gentle as water.
Daisy sat in the office chair, looking at the person standing beside her, said seriously, "Second Brother, have I caused you trouble? Just now Evalian said—Aidan came here to trouble you... Is it because of a misunderstanding at Fresh Blossom Bakery, so he privately sought you out for trouble?"
Dawn paused slightly, "It’s nothing. Aidan and Selah Sutton have disliked me not just for a day or two, it’s nothing to do with you."
"Second Brother, don’t lie to me. I know this time it’s because Aidan misunderstood us that’s why he’s targeting you. I’ll speak to him properly, I’m sorry for causing you trouble, Second Brother."
"Why apologize? You are you, Aidan is Aidan, this has nothing to do with you," Dawn said sternly.
Daisy’s apologies, Dawn would never want, this girl has helped him so much, only he owes her, not her him!
Daisy pursed her lips, "Aidan is my fiancé, whatever he does wrong, I have the responsibility to bear it with him."
Dawn’s heart stalled, his brows furrowed, murmuring softly: "You might as well not apologize, I’d rather not have this apology."
She apologized to him on behalf of her fiancé, making Dawn’s heart ache painfully—
"Second Brother, what did you say? I didn’t hear you clearly," Daisy asked, turning her head.
"It’s nothing," Dawn hastily concealed his emotions.
