Legendary Traveler: By Earning Progress Points I will Become Supreme!-Chapter 191: Orientation Date
Later that night, after everyone had congratulated Aoni on being accepted into a well-known University, the young lad in question found himself lying on his bed, surrounded by Modelkit boxes, wearing a stupidly pleased expression.
That's right, all of the Garndarms he'd ordered that morning had arrived courtesy of expedited Drone shipping, and instead of tearing into them and starting to build right away, he made a box fort around his bed and relaxed.
"This is the life, having an actual backlog of kits for the first time ever; those sponsored content creators really got it made, hahhh; the real question is, do I bring them all back with me to Genovia or leave them here? I mean, there isn't any electronics or technology involved, so long as I have my tools, I can build them anywhere… OH SHIT!!! HOW COULD I FORGET!" Sitting up as if he'd been electrocuted, Aoni rapidly tapped away on his Commu, bringing up the model kit site he frequented, and purchased all of the most expensive tools available: nippers, files, glass files, hand drills, sandpaper, touchup paint markers, sticky putty, you name it he stocked up.
Because for far too long, he'd been relegated to using toenail clippers to take the plastic parts of the runner treys, and now that he was fake rich, he should splurge and get everything he ever needed but couldn't afford.
"Okay, that should be everything," swiping at the air and opening his inventory, Aoni then went about carefully stacking the thousands of dollars of robot model kits away for safekeeping.
Of course, whether or not he had the free time when in Genovia for something as static as building models was a thought that never passed through Aoni's mind because, for him, it wasn't a hobby.
Instead, it was a means of clearing his mind, relaxing, and, most importantly, a form of anti-depressant.
Wearing a shit-eating grin, Aoni leaned back on his bed and stared up at the ceiling. Sure, he wanted to crack into one of those 1/60 scale models right away; however, he stopped himself with the promise of not building again until he could show his beloved floof and birb the joy of robot model kits.

The next morning, when the DayCelest bathed Aoni's room in light, he was already up and doing pushups in the middle of his bedroom.
'Just because I've left my territory doesn't mean the schedule stops; I am sure Nyria is keeping Glacia in check on that front as well…sigh, 2 days gone just like that here, but 6 in Genovia.' Dropping to his belly, Aoni rolled onto his back and began doing situps at such a pace that even his sister, the battle maniac, would look at him strangely.
After situps, jumping jacks, burpees, and planks, lastly, Aoni performed several stretches, but once all of them were completed, he changed into his workout clothes and left the house for a run.

Following the path he and Clara had charted out the day before, Aoni moved at a pace that was neither fast nor slow given his Stats; however, there was no way a Mundane could ever keep up.
Through his suburban neighborhood onto a dirt path called the Prairie Path, which, according to all accounts, stretched out through most of the country.
Basically, it was a big ass nature trail where you could jog or bike while feeling one with the pleasant scenery.
However, that was far from the reason Aoni was using it; instead, it was a combination of mile markers and the fact hardly anyone was awake and running this early in the morning.
One would allow him to keep track of his running distance, and the other, well, does it even need to be explained at this point?
---
By the time Aoni felt his first inklings of fatigue, he had already traveled well over 35 miles on the path and had stopped for some water by a large lake.
Moving away from the path toward a resting area that gave a perfect view of the lake from about a hundred feet up, Aoni leaned on the log railing and stared out with a pensive look.
'I wonder if things will ever be this peaceful in my territory; I guess for that, I'd have to clear out every monster for miles, but even then, that doesn't mean there won't be another threat at some point.'

While lost in thought, a mixture of soft chirps and vibrations came from Aoni's wrist, and when he looked down at his Commu, a notification from EFU sat there.
"Hm…" Tapping on the notification, he was bombarded with page after page of information, classes, schedules, courses, majors, and minors; it was too much for dumdum Aoni's lil brain to handle, so soon enough he was sitting on the wrong side of the wooden fence staring out toward the lake with glazed over eyes.
'abababba, where am I? What was I doing again? Ah, that's right, the announcement email.' Bringing his Commu back up into his line of sight and taking a steadying breath, Aoni began scrolling through the different options available to him as a freshman.
'Honestly, I don't know what the fuck to do; on one end, I need to keep this act that I am limited up at all times, but on the other end, the amount of experience, resources, and, most importantly, passives I could get my hands on are more than enough to make my head spin.'
'Blacksmithing, Armorsmithing, Weaponsmithing, Construction, Architecture, Engineering, Resource production and processing, Auxilary Crafting, there are too many damn choices, and I need ALL of them.'
'The worst part is you are generally only allowed to choose a single specialty, yet here comes my dumb ass, waddling in like some type of reverse jack-of-all-trades, bad at everything but can technically do it all.' Pinching the brim of his nose, Aoni continued scrolling through the list of available options until he grew bored and looked up a campus map.
'Realistically, I should be able to hit a few classes a day, so long as I plot them out and strategically choose ones that are close to each other,' while he scrolled around the website; eventually, Aoni found the date and time of the Freshman Orientation, causing him to frown, because it wasn't for another three months.
'Three fucking months, that's annoying as hell, but at least it's almost a year in Genovia, sigh, nothing I can do about it, might as well accept the invite and get this show on the road.'
