Legendary Shelter Survival Guide-Chapter 221: Lost
"Why don’t you take the whole chunk of land out? This way, you can shift it in the shelter and process it when you are ready."
Lucas looked at the plant and then at Sarah, his eyes wide with surprise and embarrassment.
’I could have done this with many of them by now, oh god, why didn’t I think of this?’
"That is a good idea… wish Mike was here."
Lucas kept all the corpses on his shoulder and between his arms on the ground to go and take that chunk of land out.
He moved and stopped his arms just a few inches from the ground to not mess things up and try something.
He smacked his fingers inside that went into the land without any problems and without breaking. Lucas smiled and increased the force. His arms bulged and all his muscles were bulged completely.
Sarah blushed while looking at them and averted her eyes several times.
Lucas’s whole hands went inside the land and then after reaching deep inside, he pulled them out while trying to get as much as he could.
Soon, a huge part of the land came out with the grass and plants still above it. The soil was firm and did not break completely after pulling out, one of the reasons why Lucas was being careful.
"Haha… I think you all need to get the corpses now. And keep one on my shoulder."
Just like that, they traveled back while cussing Lucas inwardly for making them pick such disgustingly scaly creatures up.
In a few more minutes, they were out of the forest and reached the shelter that was still in the forest yet a lot more refined and livable.
He kicked open the door making the others inside look at the gate with vigilance.
"Back already?" John asked from afar, he was at the gate of the main shelter talking with Haley who seemed to be in thought.
"Yeah, it was easy!" Lucas said with a chuckle yet when he looked at John again, he stopped and looked at his vest and trousers.
There came a time when John started to frown which was a big thing for everyone, unlike others. John was a very calm and composed person.
John’s eyes went to the others and there was not a single wound on them other than some blood that he understood was from those corpses on their shoulders.
Lucas was the only one who was hurt and one person was missing. Seeing how much Lucas was happy, John knew that Bill was okay and was out on his scouting again.
"Haha, it seems you will be making me a new leather piece, Uncle John. But it only tore because of that damned Kobold." Lucas defended without knowing why John was gazing at him with those eyes.
John ignored Lucas completely and looked at his wife with a smile and explanation after making sure she was completely fine.
"He fought with the Kobold leader on his own. It was a tough fight."
"Nah, not tough, it was very easyy." Lucas assured.
"Oh yeah it was, you just weren’t careful right?" Sandra said from the back with a smile talking for the first time after she said something about his heart.

"Uhh… Anyways, we were successful, and look at this!"
Lucas asked Jerry for something and after he threw the bodies on the ground, John saw the number of coins that Jerry took out of his pockets.
"That is pretty good Lucas, but I would like to talk to you later some time when you are free."
"No problem" Lucas said without letting a single groan come out of his mouth.
They all settled down quickly and Lucas kept the chunk of land with the plant just a few feet away from the shelter but still inside the defenses.
The land fit completely after he dug some soil out of the ground.
The plant still looked healthy but there was no telling before Lucas could give it a few days to settle.

His eyes glowed again while he looked at the completely red aura plant with excitement.
It looked demonic yet Lucas didn’t care, he wanted to grow it and make something out of the plant in order to level his proficiency some more.
For now, he didn’t know how to excavate the plant properly. The last time he tried, the plant lost all its luster after coming out of the soil.
This was the only time where he came this close to any process related to these special plants.
Time passed quickly with all the scolding John gave him and processing the Kobolds into raw products.
The leather was the best thing, elastic to some extent unlike the others that were very rigid just like leather should be.
He brought back many herbs too filling the storage with them again. It was John’s responsibility to either move them down or keep them up as it was his role.
They all had dinner and got some extra points in the stats for some time.
Lucas ended the day after talking with his parents and sister, both doing very well.
His father was in a very good mood after having leveled up once more. His mother was the same as before yet her main skills were out of the ordinary when it came to levels.
After talking with the three of them and confirming they were still not anywhere close to his shelter which was very unfortunate.
The human in the land was still not found and Lucas was worried about having two people taking care of night shifts at the same time.
When the morning came, Lucas was given rather bad news by his mother.
His father had disappeared after talking her mother into letting him go for the class quest.
It had been 10 minutes since he had left and Lucas had no idea when he would come out.
He was confident in his father yet there was still a part of him that was worried sick for him in that unknown trial place.
