After the Sunday evening gathering, the five of them each returned home.

These recent experiences received ratings from Luo An's system ranging from excellent to good.

On the night they caught the bank robber, the system rated it as excellent.

The treasure chest yielded two bottles of stamina potions, and also two bottles of the hemostatic potions that Luo An had been longing for.

At this moment, Luo An's system inventory included 8 bottles of stamina potions, 4 bottles of night vision potions, 2 bottles of detoxification potions, 2 bottles of hemostatic potions, 2 bottles of strength potions, 1 bottle of weakness potions, 1 bottle of sleep potions, 1 bottle of water breathing potions, and 1 bottle of fire resistance potions.

The re-emergence of the hemostatic potions thrilled Luo An, as they could be life-saving at critical moments.

However, what Luo An did not expect was that after the dinner on Sunday evening, the system rated it as good and then released one 50 US Dollar bill and two 100 US Dollar bills.

Looking at the 250 US Dollars in his hand, Luo An fell into deep thought.

One thing he could be sure of was that the 250 US Dollars definitely…

shouldn't be the system cursing him.

But Luo An didn't understand why the treasure chest had issued US Dollars again.

Since he first obtained the system, the treasure chest had yielded one 20 US Dollar bill and one 50 US Dollar bill, in recent days, regardless of the system's ratings for Luo An, the final rewards were always potions.

"Could it be because I spent money tonight?"

Soon after this thought surfaced in his mind, Luo An threw it into the trash can.

This definitely wasn't the reason the treasure chest issued US Dollars again, as he had also spent money every other day.

Then, Luo An wondered if it might be because he had treated Augustus to drinks that evening.

But after pondering for a few seconds, Luo An also dismissed this idea.

Just inviting someone for drinks shouldn't make the treasure chest yield US Dollars… The system in his mind seemed rudimentary, but the underlying logic was solid; such an absurd situation shouldn't occur.

Finally, Luo An's gaze landed on the calendar on the side.

"Today is exactly the fifteenth day since I traveled here and gained the system."

Luo An's eyes narrowed slightly, if it's every 15 days that the system's treasure chest yields US Dollars, then now this situation has a reasonable explanation.

With that thought, Luo An decisively circled the date in the calendar and murmured softly:

"In fifteen days, let's see what the system's treasure chest yields!"

Since Monday is a day off, Luo An spent the entire day at his small apartment in Greenwich Village, supervising the renovation company's workers.

According to the supervisor, the apartment would be completely finished in 30 days.

That evening, the system rated Luo An as passing and issued two bottles of stamina potions; no US Dollars appeared again.

Luo An nodded, in fourteen days, he would know if his guess was right or wrong.

Tuesday, Jacob Federation Building.

"Good morning, Luo An!"

In the parking lot, Luo An had just stepped out of his Chevrolet when Reesi also arrived by car.

"Good morning, Reesi, there's a spot beside me here."

Luo An waved and greeted him, signaling Reesi to park his car next to his Chevrolet, and the two of them walked into the federal building together.

"Reesi, you don't seem very energetic."

In the elevator, Luo An saw Reesi frequently yawning and furrowed his brows,

"Didn't sleep well last night?"

Upon hearing Luo An's words, Reesi yawned again:

"I went to bed quite late yesterday."

"OK."

Seeing that Reesi had no intention of further explanation, Luo An didn't pursue further, and as the elevator doors opened, they both entered the Office Area of Section 5.

Then Luo An was surprised to see that Reesi, who usually naps on the desk every morning, was actually sitting at his workstation today, clicking away energetically at the computer.

Looking at Reid, who had started taking a nap at his desk, then over at the energetic Reesi, Luo An's eyebrows raised slightly:

These two, had they swapped souls?

"Good morning, Luo An."

Seeing Luo An entering the office area, Reesi looked up and greeted him.

Then, without waiting for Luo An to reply, Reesi presented her laptop to him, asking:

"Do you remember the wanted criminal we found based on Freddie?"

"Of course."

Luo An nodded. Freddie was the unfortunate guy he had hit with a skateboard.

Although he wasn't a bank robber, someone had contacted him to make a bomb.

Afterward, Luo An inputted the information Freddie described into the computer, discovering that the person who asked him to make the bomb was a wanted criminal listed in the FBI's database.

Ogden Scott, with a reward of 400,000 US Dollars.

"Last night, when I went out to play games, I saw a guy in an underground dance hall who looked very much like Ogden."

Hearing Reesi's words, Luo An was initially stunned, then asked:

"Was it really Ogden?"

"I wasn't sure yesterday, but now I am certain; it was indeed him."

Seeing the expression on Luo An's face, Reesi spread her hands and explained:

"Last night, while I was dancing there, I spotted a Caucasian man with a group emerging from deep within the dance hall.

The lights were too dazzling at the time, and I only felt that the guy walking in the front seemed familiar, but I couldn't remember where I had seen him.

It wasn't until they left the place that I recalled, I'd seen his photo on your computer.

But by the time I chased out, Ogden and his group had already driven away from the dance hall.

I was still a step too late."

"Don't be hard on yourself, Reesi. It's not your fault. It's difficult enough to see Ogden's face with those flashy dance hall lights."

Luo An patted Reesi's shoulder; certainly, it wasn't her fault.

Reesi shrugged and didn't say much, but instead pointed to the data on the computer and continued:

"However, luckily, I managed to get Ogden's people's vehicle plate number last night.

Using the plate number and surveillance footage, I have just located their current position."

Seeing the address and photo on the laptop, Luo An smirked, about to say something when Augustus's familiar booming voice echoed at the entrance of Investigators Group Five.

"Good morning, gentlemen and ladies of investigators!"

Luo An turned around and saw Augustus entering Investigators Group Five once more with Mona.

Mona greeted Luo An and sat back down at her desk with her laptop, while Augustus, holding two folders, strode into the front of the Investigators Group Five office area.

"Congratulations everyone, the pleasant holiday is over; we've got a new case today!"

Handing one of the folders to William to distribute the information inside to everyone, Augustus opened the other folder and loudly read:

"From Brooklyn Upper District, Ivande Davis unfortunately encountered a fatal car accident last night and died instantaneously.

The incident has been declared an accident by NYPD, but my superior, Group Leader Vireness, has requested us to carefully examine this case, including the autopsy and NYPD reports..."

After listening to Augustus's description, all investigators of Group Five furrowed their brows tightly, Reesi even raised her hand to ask:

"Chief, car accidents don't seem to fall within our purview, do they?"

"You're right."

Before Augustus could respond, Vireness's cool voice came from outside Investigators Group Five's door.

"Hello, Chief."

Waving her hand to indicate no need to continue discussing this, she then walked to the very front of the office area, her expression serious as she addressed everyone:

"But this time, the orders come from Washington, and are of the highest priority."

Hearing this, the faces of everyone in Investigators Group Five turned solemn.
