Chapter 85: The Golden Rush!

"Where in the world did that blast come from?" Nathan was looking around, trying to see if he would see anything that would lead them to the other warriors.

Michael was just going through the forest like a wild animal looking for prey.

"I don’t know where they are, but we are going to find whatever is causing these explosions."

He had an excited look on his face, it was like he had waited years for a fight like this.

"Maybe then we will find whatever it...."

Before Michael could finish talking, a huge club from nowhere hit him back a few feet.

Nathan and the Transponder paused immediately, looking up. They saw Orcs coming out of the forest.

"What are those things?!"

The Transponder couldn’t stop shaking from fear; they were in an uncharted dungeon, and it was clear that they would meet nasty creatures, but meeting something this huge didn’t count.

Nathan paid close attention to the monsters; he could see that they had no ordinary build as monsters, and from the looks of things, they would kill them if they were going to face them.

"Mr. Transponder, I would love it if you took another step back." Nathan pulled out his Mace, his eyes locked on the Orc.

The Transponder looked at Nathan, and he could see the warrior was getting ready to fight.

"I will check on Mr. Krigg!" The Transponder turned and ran towards where Michael had landed.

Nathan was looking at the monster in front of him. He knew that there were many things that could happen there and then, but letting an Orc win him wasn’t going to be one of them.

’I don’t know what you are, but I am not going to be killed here.’ Nathan tightened his grip on his mace, looking at the Orc, he took his stance.

The Orc charged at Nathan, with an intense speed swinging its club around, about to hit down the warrior, but it was not fast enough to even graze him.

Nathan leaped up, using his mace, he landed a powerful blow on the Orc’s head.

The beast fell to the floor, Nathan landing on top of it, looked around, and noticed that he wasn’t the only Orc there.

"Ugh, more of you?" He took a step back, looking at the Orcs as they stepped out of the forest. He knew that there was a chance that they would kill him if they were angry.

Nathan smiled as he took a stance. He counted five Orcs, and he knew that it was going to be a problem if he wasn’t careful with what he was going to do.

"Now, y’all can come one by one. There is enough ass whooping for each of you."

The Orcs began charging at Nathan as he powered up his mace with his flames ready for attack. Taking down each Orc that came his way with a lethal and powerful blow that would be enough to kill it, for an A-rank, he was fast.

The Transponder had reached where Michael landed. On getting there, he saw the warriors were glowing.

"Mr. Krigg, I am glad you’re okay." He said as he walked closer to the healer, but then he paused when he saw the look on Michael’s face.

Michael slowly stood up, looking ahead, and he could see the monsters; the smile on his face had faded.

"If I were a normal healer, I would be dead now," Michael said, opening the part where the club had hit him, and a black wound could be seen fading away.

The Transponder slowly looked at Michael, he knew that he had heard rumours about him.

’The Golden Surgeon, the only healer to reach SS-rank, and not only that, he is known to be a fierce fighter and would do anything to make sure an enemy is taken down.’ The Transponder was looking at Michael, seeing how the warrior was healing himself like a beast from the books.

’The only warrior that learned how to self-regenerate when wounded, and he is also known to be one of the strongest warriors out there with an explosive attack.’

Michael charged up his gauntlets with his energy, and they began glowing radiantly in a fierce golden light.

Michael’s hair glowed as well, as he took a stance like a leopard about to pounce on its prey.

"Gold Strike!"

The warrior yelled before blitzing towards Nathan and the five Orcs.

Nathan had taken down another Orc when he felt the rush of energy coming from behind him.

He turned to see what looked like a golden bullet coming at top speed.

’Michael Krigg?!’ He jumped out of the way, looking at the warrior trying to do something.

"Argh, Golden Rush!" Michael struck the ground with a punch, shattering everything in his path with the blow, sending the Orcs down on their backs.

The blow managed to create a crater right where he had landed the blow, he had a smile on his face.

Michael stood there, his eyes glowing as he was slowly trying to catch his breath.

"They weren’t putting up much of a fight..."

He was looking at the Orcs, he noticed that they were getting back up.

"Those things aren’t normal monsters, so it will take more than that to kill them."

Nathan said before jumping into the air, landing a powerful strike to one of the Orcs’ heads.

Michael, seeing what was going on, took his stance, a smile still on his face, he dashed for them.

He landed a powerful blow on an Orc’s chest, suddenly, almost like an atomic bomb, the Orc’s chest exploded.

’Healers Rupture!’ Michael moved faster than anything Nathan had seen in his life, it was almost like he was a monster himself.

’So this is why they call him the Golden Surgeon, his moves don’t make him look like a healer in any way.’

Nathan watched as Michael used his monstrous power to take down the other four Orcs, and he was smiling while doing it.

Once he landed his final blow on the last Orc, he stood there, his hands dripping with Orc blood.

He turned to look at Nathan, filled with energy.

"Oi, that was fun!" He walked to Nathan, seeing that he was staring at him.

"I know, it’s strange how I can take these things down."

"That’s not what’s on my mind, you are one powerful warrior, why haven’t you gotten into a guild or better yet, form your own?"

Michael rolled his eyes, he didn’t like it when someone would ask him about a guild.

"It’s usually the same thing," He replied calmly. He turned to Nathan. "All of you just want the money, and I want something more."

Nathan was looking at the warrior, and he saw that he would be of no use to him after the raid, so he went back to looking for his team.

"Anything you say, I just want to...."

He paused when they felt a powerful wave of energy, it was like two forces were colliding with each other.

Michael turned to look in that direction, a smile on his face.

"Someone is having fun."
